I think they’ve pretty much run out of this seasons kit to do that, but are hopeful of having the new kit on sale next week....

Scottish Cup Final v Celtic (Hampden) 19/05/18 15:00

The only cynical angle I can find is he owes us nothing. Thomson or Collum owe us a few decisions. Steven McLean would’ve been my 1st choice, but can’t complain and hopefully will have no grounds too after the match. -

Pretty much, aye, press them high up the park and put their defenders under pressure, they’re not used to it and don’t like it. Don’t let Scott Brown control the game from the middle of the park. Rangers face shown exactly how not to play them. Hibs have shown how it’s done and we are capable of taking it to them in similar fashion. We’ll probably need to ride our luck at the other end, and hope that no game changing decisions go against us. If we get the chance to put Main or Bowman through on Gordon, he seems prone to a rush of blood in those cases, few examples of him charging out and halfing folk... -

Roberts a raging h*n too. Fuck him and his sister (preferably before he does). -

I did hear one of the best/worst bigoted shouts at the 2011 final, so ignorant and ill informed it was laughable. ”Ki Sung Yeung, ya slanty eyed c****y f****n bastard” -
Good shot stopper, bad goalkeeper. He’d be good in a penalty shoot out.

Stevie Woods

Samson was a decent shot stopper, but he always seemed to parry the ball back into the danger area. I’d have said close on half the goals we were conceding were from a follow up to a “save” or just a general fuck up. I actually thought (and hoped) he’d turned a corner with the fans after the game at NDP with a decent performance and the celebration of thecequaluser, but IIRC he was back to throwing goals in a few weeks later in the 1st or 2nd game after the winter break.

Looks convincing at a glance to be fair. -
In Stuart McCall’s last season? Or you mean on the fans?

I think the assumption would be that not everyone would take/need 4. Or if they do they’d buying for others who would be entitiled to 4 of their own. (eg. one guy going with 2 season tickets to buy 6 tickets but 3 of those tickets are season ticket holders.) -

Stevie Kirk is a nice guy, in fact the only Motherwell players I can think of that I have met and weren’t nice were Lee McCulloch, David Parrtridge and Andy Goram. -
Did they only decide to open this up to non members last minute? First time I’d seen it promoted was this morning. Sure some people would be interested, but probably need more than 36 hours notice. (or have I just missed any previous promotion of the event?)

I can’t see any scope to criticise Burrows? Any Motherwell fan that wants a ticket will get a ticket and won’t have Celtic fans above them. I would have liked him to challenge the Celtic end thing, but understand why he/we didn’t. -

The middle sections of top and bottom tiers are the debenture/hospitality seats, so not likely to be sat under the green brigade or anything. Its been mentioned in the club press release they secure the top tier above the Motherwell fans, and it was an important thing to them (based on feedback from LC final presumably) -

I hadn’t considered that, because Aldred has been so good, particularly in the semi I thought, you can’t drop him, but Hartley not a bad option to have in reserve. Main for Moult and Aldred for Hartley have been completely seemless! Great work by Robinson and his team. It’s early days, but Main could eclipse Moult, in fact he could go down as a legend up with Stevie Kirk if things go our way in 4 weeks time.... -

Ticket prices for adults are £35 for North and south, £30 for east and west. Not sure what the kids/concessions are and where they are available? Presuming they offer a sensible price for kids/concessions, that’s not bad for the cup final. -

We don’t need to sign anyone for the final. Its a shame Ciftci can’t play, but could be worse. I presume it’s tongue in cheek, but even if Rangers sack KM he wouldn’t be able to play for another club until next transfer window. But while we’re making daft suggestions sign Faddy and bring him on for the last 5 minutes to take the piss. On a more sensible note, what happened to that boy Shea Gordon that was on fringes of team? -

I think it’s just about questioning these norms. Why should Celtic/Rangers have their own end at Hampden? It’s a neutral venue. Logistically it makes more sense for Motherwell fans to have the East stand as the majority of our support are coming from the south east. Although it’s not often we get to such an occasion and can understand the club not wanting to get bogged down in this debate. -
We get 25% of the pooled semi gate, so 25% of 70,000 rather than 50% of 18,000. The club only tell us when they’re skint though, they don’t generally mention any positives financially. Although I don’t really care, who’s going to tell their kids/grandkids about that famous season we turned a £200k profit. As long as we’re keeping the lights on and a team on the park it’s not really a major concern for me.

Which could mean Rangers fans are cheering on Celtic in the final depending how things pan out. -

They’re also digging up the road outside the main stand at Hampden. So when you get to the crossroad with Asda on your left and police station on your right, you have to turn left or right, there’s no through road. -

It’s just the pricing. I’m sure most folk would go North stand if the price was £20 across the board, but at £30 a lot have decided to go behind the goal. The prices have to be the same for both semis, and to be fair the other one would sell out at £50 a ticket. How many more would you realistically get at our game? Would be interested to hear of anyone who went to League cup semi, but wasn’t going to bother this time, as that would be strange....
