  1. I thought there would be more interest, but who cares really. Thats a lot more than our home support.
  2. Apparently Hampden is the same width an only 5 yards longer than fir park, we have one of the widest parks in the league. (I haven’t fact checked this, but sure someone else can/will)
  3. Exactly! It’s almost impossible. There’s so few permutations that could see all the teams below us pass us. We could be caught by any team individually if they put together a run, but that would involve victories over all the other teams beneath us which puts them in bother...
  4. I agree, there is probably still a perfect (or not?) set of results that could see us finish 11th, but would involve one of Thistle or Ross county winning every game post split, and us not picking up a point in 6 games. With everybody below us beating everyone above them.
  5. Im a big fan of Curtis Main, he’s really coming into a game and I think he could go on to do equally as well as Moult did with us? His touch and lob that went just over on Saturday v Rangers after his work for Campbell’s goal had me asking, Louis who? Given the rebuilding job we did pre-season and bearing in mind we started the season with McManus as our only proven Centre half, 7th place, all but safe from the play off (we might be mathematically safe, as for Ross county and Thistle to catch us they’d both need to beat Dundee and Hamilton, so they’d not be able to catch us...) a cup final and a very good shot at another is not a bad season at all.
  6. I think that’s nearly all correct, but I think this game would be allowed to be on as it is a rescheduled match which I believe is an exception, but think it was BT who had it originally and they’ve got champions league, so aren’t going to put our game on aswell.
  7. When I say levelled up, what I meant was, he’d given us a penalty and had 80 minutes to give Rangers one, whether there was a foul or not.
  8. Wouldn't it be great when some of the journalists dig him up on such contradictions. He could say anything, and they’ll just nod, smile and print it...
  9. It’s not mathematically impossible for us to make the top 6, but more importantly we’re not automatically safe from the play off either (there’s probably not a combination of results that could see us finish bottom, although Thistle or Ross County could independently catch us I don’t think they both can without Dundee being relegated?????) Anyway, there’s 3 points up for grabs on Tuesday night, and while we don’t want to show all our cards ahead of the semi, we are 5-1 up on aggregate v Aberdeen for the season and have absolutely nothing to fear! We’ve played them off the park in 2/3 games and lost a scrappy game 1-0, the 2nd in a double header... I’ll be looking for 3 points a couple of goals on Hearts and a psychological boost ahead of the semi. I’d settle for a draw though.
  10. Absolutely no doubt about it, and after a 15 minute break the decision was levelled up at the earliest opportunity....
  11. I know! Felt the ref had too long to level things up after giving us a relatively soft penalty early on, and I was proved correct. Also shat out of dealing with Morellos as it would’ve meant a 2nd yellow and shat out of the Alves penalty shout which the linesman had a front for seat for. Much like the ref last season who shat out giving a 2nd red to Rangers, but levelled it up by sending off skippy cheaply. Weak shite bags!
  12. 1-0 https://streamable.com/34amf 2-0 https://streamable.com/tq1dr 2-1 https://streamable.com/fehkc 2-2 https://streamable.com/g2frl
  13. Must’ve got mixed up, I’d thought I’d seen somewhere he was 1 away again... Checked and his booking v Killie last month meant he was banned, but back in time for the Aberdeen and Rangers games. Not been booked in a domestic game since.
  14. Given the life span of your average manager in England, he might well get his chance at some point. Just needs a new manager that plays 2 up front.
  15. As above, I don’t think there’s any scope in the rules to retrospectively punish Brown. Not really a will to do it either I’d imagine. So would’ve made sense just to say Kipre was cleared, end of story. Incidentally I’d imagine Brown will plan his next booking (which I believe will take him over the points threshold) to ensure he serves his suspension before the split and is available for the Rangers game post-split.
  16. Yeah, the Charles Dunne and Kipre ones that were rescinded, plus the Kipre One in the cup final are all clearly wrong. I’d add the Trevor Carson one too. It was a very tight call whether it was in or out the box, I’ve seen pictures that “prove” both, but it’s also debatable whether it was DOGSO, not sure also if intent is a factor in a handball under the new rules? Im giving him 1 correct, 1 very debatable and 3 wrong .
  17. Given “these things even out over a season” 9 man Celtic will be up against it even before our 2 penalties.
  18. Accies didn’t play a lot of football, but the reason they won so many second balls was they worked a bit harder. They got a bit of luck with the goals, 2 chances and they took them. Going in front reasonably early suited them down to the ground, they just sat in and we couldn’t break them down. I do sometimes get frustrated with our obsession with getting balls into the box, there were several occasions there was an option to play through the middle, but we worked it wide to get another poor cross in and give away possession. We need to mix it up a bit, we have guys like tanner who can play through the middle, not just the hoofs up the middle we got late in the game.
  19. Dunne, Kipre and tanner at a push were the only players to get pass marks today.
