  1. Ainsworth would be amazing if we could sign him on a 6 week rolling contract and hed always be playing for a new one. As much as I liked him and he gave us some great moments, for weeks and months at a time he was anonymous and lazy.
  2. Are development loans not quite flexible? Ie. we can recall the player temporarily?
  3. I expect flow will have a twitter feed full of folk asking these questions. Fair play to him for generally responding. Did well for us, especially when he was signed as a back up to Wes Fletcher.
  4. He also goes with the Hollywood right arm to save a shot on his left dive. If hed stuck his left hand up in the air hed have stopped it.
  5. Yeah, not sure he actually touched the ball? Presume that was the conversation?
  6. McHugh made a lot of mistakes tonight. Griffiths shouldve done better with the free kick. I actually thought the first half we played ok, or certainly no worse than them, and was just a bit of a freak that they got 3 chances and took them all. On another day Griffiths saves the FK, McHugh puts the ball out for a throw in and the 2nd one hits the keeper or the corner flag. We deserved a point for the 2nd half performance. Was disappointed we seemed to have 3 midfielders who all do the donkey work rather than 2 from the 3 and tanner more advanced with a bit of creativity. I thought it was Hamilton, but Cerny is the worst keeper Ive ever seen for tinewasting.
  7. Hadnt realised that. Was doubt of whether he was actually good there last season or others were just so bad. Maybe thats his best position? As hes been really disappointing in midfield.
  8. Wouldnt be the worst time to find out the firhill undersoil hearing isnt up to scratch. Given how poor McHugh has been in midfield, might be a chance to drop him to centre half in the absence of Hartley. Griffiths Tait McHugh Kipre Dunne Frear Rose Campbell Grinshaw Tanner Bowman
  9. I cant see McInnes not going now. Hes burnt his bridges at Aberdeen, possibly through no real fault of his own.
  10. sorry Im sure there was an apostrophe when I typed it. (There was, why does this forum delete the apostrophes in my posts? Its making me look (even more) thick. Has social media just completely given up on grammar?)
  11. What an utter fanny he is. Complete lack of humility! Did he wait until the MFC coach pulled out the car park then get brave? Be interesting how it pans out, as Burrows always seems really well liked in Media circles, but Brendan is the saviour of Scottish Football...
  12. I was under the impression a lot of the press rarely bother sending anyone to our press conference and just gleen some lines from the online stuff we put out. May have remembered that wrongly though? Think it was from a tweet from Alan Burrows?
  13. While some of the behaviour of our fans was bang out of order, Id like to think anything like that, if any truth in it, was pretty isolated. It does seem like attempts to trump up the charges against us...
  14. That was right in front of us. Im not sure it was, but as I remember it, Brown had a couple of nibbles at him and Collum uncharacteristicaly tried to play advantage, but Moult went down, possibly cheaply... So the final challenge the foul was given for was soft, but there was at least one foul in the sequence of play Im sure...
  15. There were loads of objects flying on the pitch at one point, Griffiths picked up what looked like a plastic bottle and threw it back towards the east stand. You can see Sinclair giving the sh sign clearly on the BBC video of the goal, but he had every right, he had taken pelters from us.
  16. That and the coin throwing is out of order, scumbag behaviour. Missiles were raining onto the pitch at a couple of points when the action was in front of the 2nd last section. We cant promote ourselves as a family club if sections of our support are going to behave like this.
  17. I think video evidence would be enough to say no penalty in both these cases. I dont think video evidence would be enough to call it a dive. Sometimes there can be a coming together of players without a foul being committed, but not necessarily an out and out dive, the whole there was contact thing makes it very hard to get a clear dive.
  18. That was the one I would cite. That was as clear a yellow card as youll get, textbook taking one for the team. Compare such leniency with a sprint that usain bolt wouldve been proud of to book Louis Moult for a nothing challenge it looked like he didnt make any contact with on Brown. The less said about what Scott Brown would actually need to do to get booked the better.
  19. I dont think the refs are cheats, they are just weak. Its easy to give a big decision against Motherwell.
  20. I see Brendan saying Dembele likely to miss double header and a doubt for Anderlecht. An attempt at playing the dirty Motherwell card in the Media once again? He seemed fine for another 40+ minutes on Sunday...
  21. Increases the chances of Sinclair playing, which is good. Im looking forward to giving him dogs abuse!!!
  22. But that ban could apply to league games, Ill settle for him missing a 1st round league cup game next year if hes still here.
  23. Im surprised at that, Id though it was wider too. I think the point still stands, Celtic are too good to press all over the park for 90 minutes, regardless of the size of the park. If we were intending doing that Campbell wouldve started.
  24. The change in the rule is for a genuine attempt to win the ball, not for pulling a player back. Thats still a red if its deemed an obvious goalscoring opportunity (which is pretty subjective). I know he didnt actually pull him back, he barely touched him, but if he sees it that way its a red card.
