I quite liked it, but it didn't wash well, gone a horrible mustard colour.

I'd have him back in a heartbeat!
-
I'd be happy with that!

To be fair, I think the problems last time were caused largely by not seperating the cash and ticket turnstiles, leading to folk with tickets being stuck in a queue while folk payed in. if they'd made one entrance ticket and one cash they would've at least relieved the queues for those with tickets. I was paying cash, but the people around me who had gone to fir park to get tickets, were rightly pissed off, as it had no benefit to them. The turnstile operators were pathetic though! Completely disorganised and clueless.

He's younger than Hammell, Lasley, McManus, Pearson and Mcdonald. Other than his wages being an issue, I'd sign him and make him captain.
-
Christophe Berra would be a perfect signing to give the experience we are (in the nicest way possible) hopefully going to lose at the end of the season. He's apparently keen on a move back to Scotland, unfortunately he'd probably be out out price range?

Nobody will sit in their allocated seats, folk arriving at 2:50 won't be able to find a seat, they'll mill about at the front of the stand arguing with stewards, and eventually get let sit in the gazebo about 20 minutes into the game. We'll pump them 1 each too.

Middle of the top flight is about our level, I can live with that. Clubs need to live within their means.
-
What we really need is a David Murray, Brooks mileson or Vladimir Romanov to come in, employ Leanne Dempster and everything will be rosy? Is that us upto speed?
-
That was just a dig at those who like to dissect Alan Burrows CV as a stick to beat him with.

While we are sleep walking towards the championship! Perhaps it's starting to hit home now, but it seems our players and to an extent the fans have thought we'd get away with it, but our last 2 results have put us right in the sh!t! We've let Dundee then county off the hook, and now there's only accies left. Just aswell we have a great record at NDP.....
-
Since Leanne Dempster went to Hibs, they've been relegated with the most spectacular collapse you'll ever see and spent 3 years in the championship. At least some of the shite we've had over the last 4 years is her legacy. What does a travel agent know about running a successful football club anyway?

I miss McManus!
-
He has to be released in the transfer window for that to be allowed. Although I doubt that would be the stumbling block.
-
I had a student season ticket for years (probably a few more than I was actually a student) and it was pretty good value. I was getting to most games at the time though.
-
Would you buy a ticket for all those shows and then only go to some of them? I get that it's more of a commitment than an investment. At the moment I can't justify it, but when my boys are old enough to go regularly, it will offer great value.
-
Unless you have kids to use the free tickets, is there any value/ benefit in having a season ticket? If you miss 2, definitely by 3 games, financially you're worse off. The "ticket scramble" that season ticket holders would jump the queue for has never once materialised in my lifetime. I probably shouldn't be put in charge of marketing season tickets!

I thought he'd turned a corner after a run of decent performances in December and January and gained some favour with the fans with the celebrations at NDP. His main problem seems to be that when he makes a save, he far too often puts the ball back into the danger area. He is a decent shot stopper, but those in front of him also have to shoulder some blame for failing to clear any second balls. Any parried save seems to result in a goal. (Must be close on 1/2 the goals we've conceded). I do agree though, we have to get behind him, as denting his confidence further can only be detrimental.

Maurice Malpas joins the coaching team at ICT.

Although playing 39 games would be an advantage.

Surely Burrows has the most dissected CV in Scottish football! Has anybody seen Leanne Dempsters CV? Or Peter Lawells? Stewart Robinson? Nope! I kind of presume his (Alan Burrows) job is more like the old fashioned club secretary rather than the Vladimir Romanov he's made out as... I'd also defend his appointment of McGhee (if he made that decision?). He took a team that was on a runaway train heading to the championship and not only kept us up, but got us to 5th place come the end of the season, so the right man at the right time!

Partick thistle ring a bell as being either the other team who got the shitty end of the stick (financially) when it came to OF fixtures? In which case they have lucked out by getting both OF at home post split, when they've probably planned for bottom 6. The year we went to parkhead 3 times, we had finished bottom 6 the year before, and were told as the "unseeded" team in the top 6 we had to take the unbalanced fixtures, which is fair enough. But given that, how can a team who were in the championship last year be guaranteed a home fixture v Celtic 3 weeks before the split? I'm truly pissed of by the early announcement of the OF fixture, it just shits all over the rest of Scottish football, and confirms the SPFL have no interest in selling the rest of the package. They were never going to send Rangers to parkhead 3 times, but it should've been a possibility. Announcing this fixture 2-3 weeks before the other 29 post split fixtures is just embarrassing and infuriating, and undermines the "sporting integrity" of the whole competition.

Scottish Premiership Motherwell V Hamilton Academical Wed 5 Apr 19:45

Yeah, on the park he's easy to manage, I was meaning more in the "man management" sense, which your second sentence alludes to. His long list of clubs is often used against him to back this theory up. I've spoken to him a couple of times a while back, and he seemed pretty genuine when he said he liked the club and life here, but I think in the last 6 months or so that must have changed. McGhee hanging him out to dry at firhill might've been the beginning of the end, and if rumours about what happened at cappielow that night are to be believed the return of Robinson was the end. -

Which was the reason Ainsworth couldn't get involved. I think Ainsworth knew he was off in the summer a while ago now. I doubt he's an easy player to manage, and we certainly haven't done a good job of it recently. -
The SPFL have already announced Rangers v Celtic on 29/4 with a 12 noon KO. Just sums up the idiots in charge of the Scottish game, and their opinion that only 1 fixture matters. I'm really quite pissed off about that!
