I think Law is decent, and consistently one of the few to get pass marks, particularly last season and last few weeks. Chalmers looks like he doesn't want to be here! Maybe it's a confidence thing as others have suggested, but to me he looks raging he's at Motherwell instead of playing for Celtic.

I had noticed in the recent Scotland games they were constantly trying to get the ball out wide, but actually our success came through the middle. The reason I mention it being Mcghee's involvement in both. It could be effective, but mainly due to a poor final ball hasn't been for Scotland or Motherwell.

I think he's a bit of a joke figure for a few reasons. Firstly, he "exclusively reveals" things on the show, that are either made up rubbish, or already known. Secondly his pretence of not being a Rangers fan, he's a Rangers fan from paisley, not a St Mirren fan. He'd probably be quite a good laugh, and I don't dislike him myself, but I don't take him very seriously.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, some of the pundits on it are awful, and they do tend to always have a love in with Aberdeen, Dundee United or anybody but Motherwell, but they are covering our games, pretty much any midweek if there's games on, they put on a show.

I think sportsound gives pretty good coverage of s or Scottish football, the radio coverage is something they do well. When you compare the relative crowds at SPFL games, the fact they cover anyone outside the old firm is quite impressive. I hate myself for saying that, but it's true. It's important to us, but we are a niche market. How many people actually care about Motherwell v Kilmarnock?

I think we suffer in Scotland from trying to compare our game to our neighbours in England. Per head of population Scottish football is very well supported! Unfortunately, particularly in the west of Scotland, far too many support 2 particular teams.

All figures based on Wikipedia, for reference, Kilmarnock has a bigger population. Than Motherwell. 46,000 to 30,000

I know. Was just kidding.

That's right, the police watched the green brigade tear up seats in the south stand, then did dawn raids on a few Motherwell fans, but was loosely portrayed to the media as if they'd arrested the culprits of the damage. That kind of indicates the problem, it's about numbers, easy targets and giving the impression action is being taken. 19 arrests is quite a lot, it means if you go to a Motherwell game at home you've got a 1/200 chance of getting lifted, away from home it's as low as 1/10.

I think it's a bit early to write off Grimshaw. Josh Law isn't a world beater, he's more like Tom Hately without the set pieces (which isn't necessarily a bad thing!). He's very rarely the worst player on show, which admittedly isn't a great honour, but he's apparently the best we've got. (Seriously though, where is Craig Reid? )

Not voted, as didn't go, but great to hear some of the more maligned players had a good game! A few weeks ago I couldn't imagine law, McManus and Johnson being contenders for MotM!

We were completely bi-polar that season! If I recall correctly the 6-1 humping of livi on the last day of the season was our 1st win of the season against a team in the bottom 6, but we had beaten everyone in the top 6.

Grimshaw? He was at least keen that night, but his passing was atrocious!

I didn't go, but have paid money to go to events without a line up half as good! Will watch out for any future ones. A suggestion on the turnout might be a small charge, say £5, that gets you a pie and a pint, so it's effectively free, but gets folk to commit to coming and gives you an idea of how the attendance is looking in advance. It might not have helped, you'd have just known in advance about the poor turnout, not sure there's much you could've actually done?
