  1. It would be one from Law, Ojamma or Humphrey. Law for his forward thinking creativity in midfield we are so sorely lacking this season. Ojamma for his pace, energy and excitement he brought to the team. Humphrey, despite his obvious weaknesses, his lightning pace gave us a great out ball and scared opposing teams shitless! Could maybe rule out Humphrey for his lack of heart (I think in a struggling side he'd hide). In my opinion these 3 gave us all the qualities we are missing this season, but if I had to pick one, probably Ojamma.
  2. The last game I wanted to go to and couldnt get a ticket for was the one below, and even then, that may have been what I was told to explain why I couldn't go (I was only 9).
  3. I think someone said their chairman doesn't get on with Airdrie, hence why they chose livi fir the rangers game??
  4. Even if there was a want or need for them to move; which I don't believe there is, logistically the only place they could move would be the opposite end of the east stand. Next to the away fans is always where the "singing section" of a support should be anyway.
  5. I heard from a Morton fan, who appeared to be in the know Imrie was waiting to see if we signed faddy before he took them up on their deal.
  6. It's funny how often we get told how well teams are playing and what great players they have, particularly Aberdeen and Dundee United, yet we are always above them in the league table, and generally hold our own against them. Perhaps with the exception of cup games. A draw wouldn't be a bad result given the makeshift side we'll need to field.
  7. I would ask why faddy didn't have a pre-season? It's almost like he couldn't be fucked? I'm presuming he had intended to seek employment as a professional footballer, be it with us, or somewhere else... Good result, joint 2nd in the league, and I believe 5 league wins on the trot at fir park! It's not all bad
  8. As for the 2nd goal! Could be worse, Freiburg keeper had a howler at the weekend.... http://youtu.be/NtBWefg5md0
  9. I thought we were slow, had 3 defensive midfielders, no creative players, were awful to watch. Really showed how we miss the pace of Humphrey, energy of Ojamma and creativity of Law. Perhaps ainsworth, Anier and McFadden respectively could return some of those qualities to the team?
  10. I'll try and get in early for that! Always seems to be carnage at the turnstiles for midweek matches. Probably due to more folk all turning up at the last minute after work etc.
  11. I thought Anier was excellent. Was quite surprised when he went off. Lasley covered every blade of grass. Ramsden didn't put a foot wrong and tried to get forward. Nielsen made a great double save in the 1st half, but could have maybe done better for the goal? Did look a lot more confident than Hollis and that seemed to filter out, to the point McManus was a bit casual on a couple of occasions. Who voted for Angol? He had a 'mare! Clueless, constantly gave away possession, didn't chase back, looked off the pace and disinterested to me.
  12. Chick young also said it was a great game, but didn't enjoy the game on Sunday, he's not got a clue!
  13. That's a bit pish! I'd presumed it was because the passengers had vandalised the bus, which would be understandable, if a bit rotten for the majority. Was only the 2nd weirdest announcement of the game, after the one at halftime telling the guy to text his bird back! I thought it was a pretty dreadful game, the overwatered wet long grass didn't help things, and all the changes showed with us looking a bit clumsy and not making the right decisions, as well as a lack of movement. Mchugh was dreadful, hutchy a bit casual at times, faddy had a frustrating night. Livi made it difficult for us without ever threatening. Thought McManus and ramsden strolled through the game, and ainsworth had a good 2nd half.
  14. Never thought of it like that. Is that the butterfly effect?
  15. I think live tv, ticket price (which in honesty is a long way off the worst in the league), travel and associated cost all make it an all too easy decision to stay at home or watch in the pub. That's without the recent history with Dundee utd regarding their treatment of our supporters.
  16. The majority of the puma kits have been nice. This seasons away is a bit dull (or lacking any c&a), and as many have said the home is nice in its individual parts, but a bit much as a whole. I'd stick with puma, as overall, probably the best strike rate!
  17. They did it last time aswell, although they didn't notify anyone beforehand IIRC.
  18. It's about more than that though. Are you not sick of going to away grounds and getting treated like dirt. We are paying customers, paying far too much more often than not, yet are herded like cattle, treated with contempt and like an inconvenience at most grounds. I agree with the last part, thought it was handled well last time, and got a bit of media exposure thanks to Tam Cowan mainly IIRC. It wasn't a "boycott" as such.

The thing that annoyed me about McGhee, more than his whoring himself at every turn was that he made no attempt to build a squad for the next season as he knew he was leaving, but sat it out until the offer came in days before our 1st game v Llanelli, leaving us high and dry. I'm trying to think of the perfect manager of the guys we've had recently? Gannon and Mccalls eye for a player Mcghees discipline and fitness Browns solid defence Mccalls man management Mcleishs luck Billy Davies attention to detail On the other hand.. Mcleishs eye for a player Gannons man management Craig browns style of play Billy Davies luck Malpas (any malpas "quality")
  20. I always like ZFA, think he looks a threat going forward. Hollis Ramsden Hutchison McManus Hammell Lasley Carswell McFadden Vigurs ZFA Anier Unlikely to go with that though.

A slightly harsh straight red for a dubious hand ball was it not?
  22. Paisley beer festival could be a shout for those on a day out... http://www.paisleybeerfestival.org.uk/
  23. He must be a free agent I'd think? So who would we be loaning him from? If he's still attached to a club, we can't sign him out with the window.
  24. According to Wikipedia, a defensive midfielder, who has had a lot of clubs, appears to have been highly rated but never settled anywhere? This bit might catch people's eye though....
  25. Yes, very true, but I'm thinking disallowed goals, missed penalties, several "worst rangers side ever" moments... We should have won 1 of these games.
