  1. Or 2 goals.... 5 goals in 106 games according to Wikipedia, pretty low for an attacking player!!
  2. You dropping nicky law? Or is he CM in a 4-5-1?
  3. Hetheringron gave the ball away constantly both times I've seen him. Ramsden may go to CB as cummins is suspended, or Kerr could move to CB. A blind man can see hately is not a CM, he's ok at RB though. My prefered option would be Kerr at CB, hately at RB, ramsden or carswell in CM with lasley in a 4-4-2, with ojamma or murphy up with higdon. I like ojammas work rate, directness, and willingness to take responsibility, BUT I think he has made more of an impact coming off the bench! Agree Humphrey will probably do better against most teams than he has in the last couple of games, so maybe him instead of Daley (which I posted earlier).
  4. I don't know where you get "love-in" from me saying he should be dropped? Think he's played well when called upon, but think hammell's experience is needed in a young and at times clumsy looking defence. Think the boy looks an able replacement though.
  5. I think my team would be: Randolph Hately Kerr Hutchinson Hammell Daley Ramsden Lasley Law Ojamma Higdon May well be humph instead of Omar, and murphy instead of ramsden? It's a shame to drop Angol, but hammell should (and will) return if fit, as we lack experience.
  6. Just had a glance on a Sunderland messageboard, and they think a CM player would be a better signing! Mentioned this guy is available, bit out our price range unfortunately... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Hitzlsperger
  7. Are there any of these tough midfielders available? Robbie savage?
  8. We also lack anyone to take any responsibility going forward! At least with ojamma in the side you have that.

    Celtic

Darren Randolph saved us from a hammering. Honourable mention for ZFA who I thought coped quite well in defence and tried to push forward and help.
  10. I know, we're sitting top of the SPL, played in the champions league this year and are fast establishing ourselves as the "3rd force" despite having one of the smallest budgets in the league. Folk are slating the manager as we can't compete with teams with 10 times our resources (rangers, Celtic, panathinaikos, levante). It's absolutely fukin' mental!!! I was as disappointed as the rest on Wednesday night with our lack of fight, but a bit of perspective!! We have failed in some big games, and perhaps appear to freeze slightly, but that's been happening for as long as I can remember, and the big games tend to be against the better teams.
  11. Not to be pedantic, but it's split 50/50 if game is at ibrox, fir park or cup final, both semi finals are pooled and split amongst the 4 teams.
  12. That's pretty bad reporting by the daily record, MFC should pick them up on that! I don't normally get the urge to phone a phone in, but Keith Jackson (he wrote it) is often on the Clyde phone in, perhaps someone should phone up....
  13. Mcculloch certainly got stuck right in, our boys didn't.
  14. He played hammell in holding midfield role in our biggest game in the last 25 years, so maybe he's hoping ZFA can play LB to free up hammell to play in midfield?
  15. Agree with that, managers always like players they know. Ramsden hasn't played much, but looked ok when he did. Daley gets an awful hard time on here, but I think he showed a bit of willingness and fight last night that was lacking from others.
  16. The nicky law tune at 1st is dreadful, but after a while, and some drunken sing songs of it, I love it!!! He's WEE, he's BRAW, he's nicky law....
  17. Maybe we are just taking the piss? Green makes a statement or 2 a week that are just him talking pish, maybe we are just joining in??
  18. Would say that's extremely unfair. I was really proud of the performance in Valencia, especially given the players we were missing and the youngsters we threw in. We'll never know what would have happened had higdons early goal stood? (it may be they'd have upped their game and hammered us???) Our home performance was poor, a few of our better players had an off night. I was amazed he didn't use the subs he had left to slow the game down and take the momentum from Aberdeen though. It's a pet hate of mine when teams do it.
  19. When did the ooh ahh stop in Motherwell, Motherwell (to tune of here we go) I remember as a kid in the 80s/90/s it was Motherwell, Motherwell, Motherwell, Ooh ahh Since I was young has been a revelation, 1st decent non player related song in years!! I liked joe wark knew mo farah that was getting sung in Valencia too, that was funny, topical, and has actions (the mobot I believe it's called?) which is an M, which is for Motherwell.
  20. We could win all three, but we could just as easily lose all 3! Has our TV record improved any?? We've got a great record against Aberdeen over the last few seasons, they have only beaten us once in the cup IIRC. Celtic won't keep slipping up?? Old rangers were a complete bogey team for us!!!
  21. Going by Facebook, they occasionally cheerlead, regularly enjoy men and Smirnoff.
  22. Yeah, the 2 steelettos I know are 28/29. I think they only do it occasionally?
  23. Remember going to a game at firhill in the early 90s, and chanting SIEB dijkstra's barmy army.... For what seemed ages! Real cult legend. Remember he'd like to dribble by centre forwards too, which was scary! That's going back to when we were in the enclosure under the main stand. Does anyone have the sorb dijkstra goals top that they would lend or sell me? Was thinking of dressing as him for Halloween. I would have had it, but went to fir park with my gran who said "you could spit peas through it" and wouldn't let me buy it. Softy was always a hero of mine, favourite moments were the equaliser at tannadice, and a 35 yard daisy cutter v Dunfermline at fir park.
  24. Easy song if he signs!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKPvSdqlshw&feature=youtube_gdata_player
