To bring it back on topic, ramsden looked like a threat at set pieces, made a good run for one corner, and got his head to another in the everton game. To back track slightly on what I said about hately, although he strikes the ball well, I often felt we didn't score anywhere near enough goals from his corners. Whether that's more to do with lack of height than the quality of ball, I don't know?

I like hately, he's pretty steady at RB and takes most of the set pieces, he is dreadful in midfield, which means Saunders would need to fit in at centre half. I don't think it's anything to do with his dad he's in the team. On a side note, it's worth remembering hately is still young too.

I see your point Davkel. I'm sure there's a good reason though, and as everton are doing us a favour to an extent, they can call the shots. However with all the talk of what people can do to help the club, it needs to be a 2 way street. Most of the holiday destinations are on the Greek islands I think, although I'd imagine theyre well connected by boats and planes. Thesalonika is on the mainland, we stayed there when Scotland played Macedonia, but you can't fly from Glasgow, and it's miles away from Athens. I've been told Mykonos is nice (I think it might be a gay place???), and looks close to Athens by boat??

As I understand it this unsigned deal is from 2014/15 onwards, the current deal has 2 years to run. So there should be no immediate drop in TV money. If Dundee come up, they bring a better support than Dunfermline, although not close to rangers for us. For Dundee utd, stjohnstone and maybe Aberdeen, they would probably lose out very little on that front.

I didn't think Odense were great, Peter utaka was head and shoulders above the rest of their team and ours, and was the difference between the sides over the 2 legs IMO. Of all the daft rules, this is a good one, as it makes sure there are slightly more actual champions in the champions league, stopping 3rd and 4th placed teams from the big countries knocking out the champions of diddy countries (like Scotland), this has allowed likes of apoel Nicosia to make (and qualify from) the group stages.
