Hastie has been registered. The game now is we ask Rangers for compensation, Rangers come back a month later and give us a shit offer. We reject it and then go to a tribunal. Last season it took until mid August for Hamilton and Aberdeen to get a decision on Lewis Ferguson. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/aberdeen-reveal-delight-lewis-ferguson-13109206

Seen some nonsense going around that Celtic are asking to pay in installments based on appearances. That should be a complete non-starter. Whether or not the issue with Turnbull's medical is serious or not, we should not be the ones taking on the risk that he gets further injured when he isn't our player. What happens if he gets a totally unrelated injury? That should never be our problem.
-
The fact is that Celtic seem to still want him despite the medical issue which says whatever they found is not serious and we should therefore stick to the fee they agreed to pay.
-
There should be no renegotiation with Celtic. They are still getting a bargain. If they won't pay the price they don't get Turnbull.
-
Except we have absolutely no one like Hastie in the current squad. He was good enough last season to get time in the first team. A good manager would be making sure these players get to develop here but instead we are signing sammon, rodriguez, grimshaw, donnelly to fill out a bench instead.
-
Great performance from the boys. Livingston was MotM for me. Looked solid and composed. Got forward easily too. There were a number of great performances in the side. Livingston, Hastie, Turnbull, Brown, Maguire all looked promising and should be pushing for first team places. Sending Hastie out on loan looks even more foolish now.

Nonsense spoken here on the ticket prices. Last round vs Dundee it was £5 for an adult Chick Young spouting shite. shocker.

Main lasted 90 because he was getting on the end of chances. Robinson threw that game with his subs. We were dominating the game and pressing for a goal then Robbo blows it to bits switching to a 3-4-3. Suddenly Accies could win the ball in the middle and get a pass forward. Then our defence just buckled. Peter Hartley might be a write off. 2 weeks in a row a striker has ghosted past him and its lead to a goal. Conor Sammon did nothing for me. If anyone deserved to be hooked it was him. He should have been off for Johnson instead of Campbell. And really that is the attacking depth issue, there is no attacking midfielder on the bench to come on, all we have is throwing a striker out of position.
-
We have no depth outside of centre back and centre mid. Adding another centre back and declaring job done for building the squad is stupid. Of course it might make Robinson look foolish to have to sign a young attacking midfielder since he sent Hastie and MacLean out on loan.

Reserve football can get to fuck. And which 3 can play other positions? I see McHugh who can compete for a centre midfield spot with Campbell, Rose, Bigi, Cadden, Tanner, Grimshaw, Rodriguez and Turnbull. At a push Dunne can play leftback but then you aren't playing 3 centre backs so.... and who is the other one?
-
So we have 7 centre backs. Dunne, Hartley, Aldred, McHugh, Donnelly, Mbulu and Maguire. Good squad balance! What happens if Cadden and Frear are injured at the same time? Tait can't play on both wings simultaneously. Or an impact sub? But that 4th back up centre back was the priority!
-
I found the weak spot.

Carson for me. We didn't really play in the second half and Trevor pulled off about 4 great saves on top of his usual great distribution and command of the box. We could have been in trouble without him tonight.

The band goes all the way around!!!

Better than the white badge that was on the Away kit last season
-
Went for McHugh with the goal added to his great first half and his drive in the last 20 turned the match back in our favour. Dunne had another solid 90 minutes. Quietly becoming our most reliable defender and getting better with the ball at his feet.

If he is fighting behind the scenes why can't he be honest and fight in public. Brendan Rogers is happy to stand in front of cameras and lie about the incidents. The facts are clear. 1. Scott Sinclair dived for a penalty, he admitted it in his own words 2. Callum McGregor dived for a penalty 3. The SFA haven't (yet) cited either player It is silence out of Fir Park. Why are Motherwell scared of the truth? Or are they scared of the SFA and Celtic? Celtic had a referee apologise for a mistake then published it in every national newspaper. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/877729/referee-don-robertson-will-call-celtic-manager-brendan-rodgers-to-apologise-for-his-penalty-blunder-following-alex-schalk-dive-in-ross-county-match/ that was after publicly threatening his refereeing career http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-boss-brendan-rodgers-says-10272606 And Celtic don't seem to be getting ANY negative consequences. In fact their histor of persecuting and harassing referees seems to have worked out quite well for them.

Tom Aldred signed a two year deal with Bury in July http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40527062

On the highlights it is clear that Dunne's and Tait's goals were offside. Didn't look like a red for Harkins either, probably only a yellow.

Absolutely stinking tactics from Robinson today. Trying constantly switch the play to wingbacks who were covered by two players and had no support. Lucky the two Queen's players covering Tait got in each others way for the 2nd goal. Tait stood around like a spare prick on the right wing, played too high up the park and effectively marked himself out the game with no one able to play a pass into his feet (and who knows what he would have done if it ever got there). Frear tried a bit harder to get involved on the left but struggled to beat his 2 markers. Tanner and Fisher struggled to get into the game in the first half. Cadden was dropping too deep just to get on the ball, finding himself at right back on multiple occassions while Tait did nothing 30 yards up the wing. Bigirimana never got involved much and he and McHugh couldn't seem to pick a decent forward ball in the full first half. A hell of a lot to improve on when we come up against stronger opposition.

But Jules and Chalmers sold the goals today. -
Time to think about putting him on gardening leave then. He is losing the plot and not just with this incident at Aberdeen but many interviews that seem like he is detached from reality.

Better just stand on the side lines with your thumb up your arse than try and change the game. We had been shite from half time until the goal. It was always coming. Doing nothing was trying to hold on to the slim hope we could keep a clean sheet and escape with a point. I think most people would like to see a positive attacking change to get Rangers out of our half. -
Different markets. That half million pound bid is from some team in Egypt, I think we are limited to British clubs if we try to sell Moult. Just a fact with British players that very few have the ambition to play abroad. We got a fair whack for Ojamaa and Anier because their agent had probably all of Europe to find a club willing to pay a decent fee.
