  1. Was there really such little deadwood before this season? The team isn't THAT different, is it? Is the problem that we were saved by two or three players who raised us above the rest and earned/saved us so many points? Jennings was one of those players. Randolph is another and it looks like he'll be away soon too. In other words, are we really having that much of a disaster right now or did we just allow ourselves to get carried away by what we had before?

    The Well Society

Tam Cowan was saying on the radio that he was asked not to put any money into the Well Society during the first push so that he could be part of a second push for funds. Stuart McCall was a guest on the show and he admitted he hadn't put any money into the Well Society either. He then revealed that only a couple of the players had signed up too. So there's a few we can target too... P.S. If I've got that wrong, I apologise. I'm sure I heard that though.
  3. 'Cause no one else seems to want to...
  4. I take it back about giving up, MJC. This is comedy genius!
  5. You are. No one's saying that the stadium is in perfect working order. No one's disagreeing that postponements in the past have been due to a stadium more than showing its age. However, today's postponement is NOTHING to do with Fir Park. Honestly man, give this one up. It's just getting embarrassing now.

    Rangers V Motherwell

Couldn't agree more, Andy. Surprised it's not been highlighted more, tbh. Our players looked utterly petrified in those first two or three minutes, flapping away at the ball, unable to get even one decent touch, about eight men lining the penalty box. That set the tone for the entire night.
  7. No, wouldn't make it up for me either.

    Rangers V Motherwell

This "McCall's happy his team won" chat is dire. By that logic, you're all thinking we're going to go pump Celtic this weekend as that's what Rangers fans will want? Chronic chat. That was an embarrassment of a performance. I'm ashamed of what I've just witnessed. The manager has to shoulder a lot of the blame. McCall's got a lot to prove when it comes to big games. However, we're also talking about players who are grown men and capable of thinking for themselves. They were cowardly tonight. To suggest we lost because McCall wanted Rangers to win is moronic.

    Rangers V Motherwell

For the rest of my life, if anyone dares to post "We'll never have a better chance to beat Rangers"...
  10. We'll be defeated... ...before we even run on to the pitch.

    Sunday's Game

Yeah, I'm a little bemused by this too. At times, these forums can be utterly ridiculous when it comes to criticism and negativity - even when playing teams like Panathanaikos! I've read a lot worse on here. I've read a lot of incredibly unjustified nonsense on here. I've read some vile outbursts of hatred on here. Why criticism from Sunday's game is being highlighted, I've no idea. The repetitive mantra of "we're still top of the league" is totally irrelevant to the fact that we couldn't see out a 3-1 lead with a handful of minutes to go. Whether we're 1st, 6th or 12th at the time, such a turnaround in a game is really very poor.

    We don't do walking away...
  14. Losing a 3-1 lead with just a few minutes to go is very, very poor. The fact we are still top of the league is completely irrelevant.
  15. He's been great for us but not been with us long enough to be a great.
  16. Doesn't sound plausible. You sure they were Aberdeen fans?!

    The Next 3 Games

Working and living in the city, my priority for the next three games is soundly thrashing Aberdeen. I was going say soundly humiliate, but humility isn't a word that the Dons fans understand...
  18. Quite hilarious how there's hardly been any official mention of anything to do with McFadden from the club, yet there's dozens of pages in this thread which have seen him transform from the returning messiah to a scrounging knob.

    The Next 3 Games

I know I'm in the vast minority, but with all the ridiculous hype that will come with being the first SPL club to go to Ibrox, with the Sevco fans obsessing about focusing their feelings of injustice on us, with it being their biggest game of the season by far, I'd happily field an under-19 team and just make the game as insignificant as possible. However, if the cup is financially more important to us than the league then obviously we should be looking to progress and field our strongest team possible.
  20. And one from their chairman: "We're going to be entertaining an SPL club shortly in the cup. That'll be the first time we've met an SPL club since they all decided to throw us out, so that'll be an interesting event, won't it?"
