  1. I found the obsession with not taking points off Rangers last season chronic. I genuinely didn't understand some of the criticism McCall received for his cautious approach against them. However... McCall better have our players right up for this game with a complete and unshakeable belief that we will win. Forget the size of the crowd, the media furore or the 'history' of the (now defunct) club. This is not a team to show fear or respect to any more. Get right fucking tore into them!

    Inverness Game

That's a quite stunning strike from Higdon for his third. Wow!

    Inverness Game

Quite an incredible looking back four for us today. Totally unrecognisable from last season. Good luck to them. Please to see McHugh get a start. Interested to see how he'll link up with Higdon. Win, lose or draw, we're going to learn something from this game...
  4. How successful this transfer window has been will depend on contract extensions. If we didn't sign anyone and the money is used to entice Randolph et al to sign contract extensions, happy days and well played Motherwell FC. If we didn't sign anyone and we lose Randolph et al on January pre-contract deals, well, you know...
  5. I demand That post BE Removed. That's Racist.
  6. His post was about how embarrassing it is that some our players are treated so poorly, especially considering all we achieved last season. Still don't see how you mentioning the quality of past Motherwell teams has ANYTHING to do with Muzz's post. Not really interested in debating it either as it's detracting from Dazzer's spectacular efforts in this thread...
  7. Dazzer, your inability to use capital letters correctly offends me more than anything Frazzle has posted tonight.
  8. And?! That makes it okay to be castigating our own players? What's the quality of a side from decades ago got to do with anything? Did you refuse to celebrate our achievement of finishing 3rd last year because "it's only because the other teams are shyte"?
  9. Hugely disappointed. Thought the 'offensive' post was actually going to be offensive. Let down.
  10. I can barely read that, so good luck to any Spaniards on here... Very pleasing to hear that our fans made such a good impression. We might not be able to score goals in Europe, but we seem to do very well at making friends wherever we go. Great to hear.
  11. I didn't see anything. I wasn't there.
  12. We don't need a link. Lots of folk on here are capable of making a decision on the ineptitude of our players and manager without even seeing the game...
  13. I'll be staggered if anyone votes yes...
  14. Who's going to spend £20 on a football match ticket if they're on such a limited budget that £5 is a hell of a lot of money? Hardly any. StipeIsGod, as with everyone else, knows that not every fan earns megabucks. That was the point he was making.
  15. Shh! With all the flak Daley's been getting, the boo-boys have forgotten all about Humphrey. Don't bring attention to it. Let's see if Humphrey can flourish without all the negativity that has followed him around at times.
  16. Would it be a bad thing if JJ was the new u20s coach?
  17. But by that logic, we had nothing to play for and kept the score down to 3-0 while Dundee United had everything to play for and got humped 5-0? So surely we gave a better account of ourselves in our second leg than United did in their second leg, just like United gave a better account of themselves in their first leg than we did? I'm sorry, I just don't see how one team's performance can be considered better or worse.
  18. Sorry MJC, I usually see where you're coming from but Finlay is bang on. Don't see how you can use one leg to support your argument and totally discount the other? I fear it is you clutching at straws in this case. Nothing to do with not being what the majority on here want to read.

    Adam Cummins

So it would appear from some posts on here that Adam Cummins should now be our first choice centre-back alongside Hutchison. All based on...what exactly? Don't get me wrong, I have high hopes for him and he did very well in a European game but let's give the lad a chance. Ridiculous expectations are only going to lead to outrage and criticism when he inevitably has a few inconsistent performances. I'd love to see McCall ease him into the team progressively over the next season but let's not expect a Craigan or Clancy replacement after only only two first-team appearances.
  20. I know we're now way off-topic, but one of the comments in response to that article is astonishing:
  21. Excellently put, Dee. Hopefully some of the idiots now realise it's not just 'boring old farts' that are concerned and will take heed of your words in particular. Credit to you and the others for what you do at Fir Park.
  22. Keep posting. Your stupidity amuses me.
  23. No, it's the fucktards who actually didn't know how to behave at fault. If they did, the stewards role would be irrelevant. How anyone else can be blamed is beyond me.
  24. Exactly! If I ever meet you I'm buying you a pint.
