No, I was agreeing with you. That guy that sat in your seat was a c**t.

This chat is chronic. First of all, yes, it would be an amazing atmosphere if everyone stood for 90 minutes singing and bouncing about. I'm sure the players would love it too. However, just because people choose to sit and watch the game with friends and family and quietly chat as the game goes on, it doesn't make them any less of a fan. They still pay their money for a ticket the same way as anyone else. Yes, it's tremendous that some of our fans are willing to take the time and effort to prepare banners and card displays, etc. Well done. However, please remember that the "boring" fans will have also paid good money to contribute to these displays - as seen on these very forums. Why the fuck this has turned into we're better fans than you, my cock's bigger than yours, God only knows. This has NOTHING to do with whether people sing or sit in silence, sit in the East or sit in the POD. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU AGREE WITH THE RULE - THROWING ANY ITEM ON TO THE PITCH CAN LEAD TO A FINE FOR OUR CLUB. It's surely not that difficult to understand, is it?!
-
People are ʗunts.
-
It was offside, sadly.
-
Shut the fuck up. No one on here has even come close to suggesting that throwing card is dangerous or violent. No one is worried about paper cuts the players may have suffered. What we are worried about is that our club may be fined because of the card being thrown. Fed up dealing with fucking attitudes like yours on a daily basis. Whether you agree with it or not, it is a rule not to throw anything on the pitch. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't make it wrong. Accept the rules and don't cost our club money it can't afford.

Spot on. Ojamaa brings a lot of good things to our team. However, when clear-cut opportunities were at a minimum, his lack of awareness (or more likely sheer greed) was very costly tonight. We certainly weren't disgraced tonight. However, it's not luck that meant we didn't get a result tonight. They were clinical; we weren't.
-
That it's "just" card is irrelevant in the eyes of those handing out fines to the club, I fear...

Yes, let's drop a player who played an important part in our fantastic season last year for a player who has played three pre-season games. Wait, that's right, the rule on this forum is: player we don't know about must be better than player we do. I believe it's called The Willie Kinniburgh Rule.

Play-offs would only have been introduced if Rangers were in division 1?! He's openly admitting that they would change league structures only for Rangers?! And the assertion that Rangers would definitely win the league, hence a play-off is really giving another team a chance is disgusting. Vote of no confidence and get rid of this incompetent c***o NOW!
-
Comparing our current squad with last season's is irrelevant. The issue is how our current squad compares to the other teams in the SPL. Certainly few teams appear to have strengthened over the summer. Aberdeen have signed players like Hayes but have lost a few talented youngsters. Hearts have lost some bigger names. ICT are definitely weaker. The list goes on. Pretty much all clubs, apart from Celtic obviously, have very thin squads now. Injuries to three or four key players could see any team, including us, face a relegation battle. Assuming every player at every club stays fit, I'd see us being mid-table - below teams like Dundee United but above teams like ICT. Of course, injuries will happen, so I'll just sit back and expect the unexpected.

Well he said to play Saunders at right-back so unless he thinks we should play two right-backs and drop Higdon completely...
-
How do you even know that?! How many games has Saunders played at centre-back that's proven he's the answer? How do we even know he'll be the right-back he was before such a serious injury?
-
Fuck me! I can't believe anyone, even on here, would label a pre-season friendly defeat as "embarrassing". I naively thought the current crisis in Scottish football would maybe see a bit of understanding and reasoning amongst our fans. Nah.

I sincerely hope there is a show of unity between 'the rebel 10' and the SFL clubs. We cannot turn our backs now that we've made our decision. Not just this week but for the foreseeable future, we need to work together to push for a revolution in Scottish football. No longer can we allow the Old Firm and incompetent administrators to discount us and run our game into the ground.

Yeah, just got it just now. Thanks Andy!

Let me sleep on it...

In light of today's decision and future financial worries ahead, I've hopefully sent you £50 via PayPal. I'm far from flush at the moment but I'll be looking into the feasibility of getting an individual membership for myself too. Andy_P, would you mind replying at some point in the near future to confirm if you've received my donation? I only ask because I've had a few issues with my PayPal account recently. Mon the Well!

I really worry about fans like you in the near future. Not sure where you've been recently but there's a wee issue going on just now regarding a team from Glasgow. Rumour has it that a number of clubs in Scottish football, including ourselves, may be affected by it. Also, whisper it quietly, but our manager may have had his budget slashed by the pound or two due to financial constraints from the board. There's a theory going round that we've been unable to offer enough money to players such as Jennings and Clancy. Word is, that's why they aren't with us any more. Now, you might have spotted the odd rumbling in the media suggesting that numerous clubs in Scottish football face possible administration due to uncertainty over sponsorships, TV money and visits from Rangers fans. It would appear that even on this very message board, others are offering suggestions such as paying at the gate instead of using their season ticket, setting up a fiver-a-month standing order or even collecting goods to save the club paying postage. Who knows why? Yes, it's better to concentrate on issues on the field. Let's judge a youngster on a handful of games before he's really been given a chance to prove himself. You're good at judging players quickly. Have a look at the Michael Higdon thread you started last season. Come on Motherwell board, let's sign a quality midfielder this summer. While we're at it, let's get a 20-goal a season replacement for that fat fuck Higdon. I don't want to hear your excuses about money. Don't you care where we finish in the table? Gosh darn it, if we don't qualify for Europe again this season I'll be writing a very strongly-worded message on this forum letting you know all about it.

NEIL DONCASTER...
-
SPL and SFA are Brisco and Patterson, more like.
-
Vince McMahon would've sorted this mess out no problem.
-
I'm sorry, but the 'compromise' of Sevco in Division 1 is my least preferred option. It's utterly embarrassing that the SPL are threatening the SFL clubs to do their dirty work for them. If we are refusing to follow procedures just to protect finances then put them back in the SPL and that's it done. Stop fucking about 40-odd clubs and actually make a decision. P.S. Not that I'm saying I want the newco in the SPL. If they stay, I'm away.

Do you really think we would have attracted a large number of people who don't normally attend Fir Park for a game against Fenerbache or Brugge? Genuine question, by the way.
