  1. The only reason I've made this thread is that I can't believe some sectarian shite is the main discussion on this forum. So, now that we've played everyone once, it's maybe a good time to take stock of what's been achieved so far. From the start of the season until now, what's been your highlight so far?
  2. Why have three pages of the forum been wasted on this shite when we could be talking about any of the ridiculous number of positives that this season has already brought us?
  3. Totally agree. I'm still looking at how many points we are away from other top 6 contenders as opposed to hoow close we are to Rangers or Celtic. This is a far bigger game in our season than the next visit of either of the Old Firm.

To be fair, MJC has stated that McFadden will eventually sign for Celtic at some point in his career. So, MJC's not been proved wrong yet. Of course, he's not been proved right either... Anyway, I'm pleased it's yet another Scottish player signed to a top-flight English club. Hopefully he can get some time in the first-team. And by the time he's match-fit, Levein will have been sacked as Scotland manager and Faddy can save the nation yet again!
  5. Well the prices hardly encourage people to come along, do they? Wait, who fucking cares? WE WON A GAME OF FOOTBALL TODAY!!!
  6. Just a shame 7 or 8 thousand Well fans are priced out of going to Fir Park on a regular basis to show their appreciation to the team...
  7. Holy fuckbuckets, can people at least wait until they've seen the game with their own eyes before deciding to crucify Higdon? (That's in response to comments outwith this thread, by the way...)
  8. The thread title mentions "expectations", but they aren't included in the poll. Based on the last few seasons, I'd say our current standing is a top 6 team, simply because we have finished in the top 6 regularly. However, my expectation for Motherwell in any season is to be somewhere between 7th and 11th. There are six clubs bigger than us (thankfully they are run terribly) but I don't see us as a First Division side either.
  9. Eh, aye you did... I like how fans think players "need to be told they are shite", as though the players themselves don't know when they're playing well or not...
  10. I'd have kept him so that he could be used as a target for the haters, deflecting the attention from Higdon, Humphrey, etc.
  11. And where exactly are we supposed to be "going"? League titles? Champions League? BELIEVE! It's a word that's done so well for us in the past...
  12. I was hoping we'd win because I'd like us to get another three points. However, I now want us to win because I fear some of our support are verging on being suicidal over the mess we as a club are in.
  13. Lessons from a team in third place in the division below us when we're third in the top flight? Falkirk could play another 100 games against Rangers with those exact same tactics and players and they'd lose at least 95 of them. They'd get humped in quite a few of them, no matter how big and ugly their players are. It's not like Falkirk have discovered some secret method of playing big bruisers. As has been mentioned earlier that's "what Scottish football's all about". I can think of a few teams in the SPL who have players who are big and strong enough to knock Lafferty and McCulloch off the ball and yet, quelle surprise, they're still languishing in mid-table, and regularly lose to the Old Firm.
  14. So who'll be getting a thread about them being shit now? Craigan? Murphy? Lasley?
  15. Great effort from Brazilian to keep updating us. Cheers man!
  16. Well, I would argue it shouldn't be possible to lift your game against the better teams because you should give your all against every team you play... If I was satisfied with watching my team regularly raising their game against one of the Old Firm and then pissing about against the 'diddy' teams, I'd be buying a season ticket for Pittodrie...
  17. Yes, it's called "They are better teams than us". Every team in the SPL will lose most games against the Old Firm, and every now again there will be a shock. It's not been our turn, but it will come one day. So what if St Johnstone won at Celtic Park last week? I'd much rather our start to the season than theirs.
  18. Who, outwith the Old Firm, are not "the shitey teams"?
  19. Motherwell fans abandoning their cars and running to the ground apparently...
  20. It's the worst Rangers team since the last worst Rangers team. We can beat Rangers on any given day, but it will happen once in a blue moon because they are simply far better than us. If anyone honestly thinks our XI matches up to theirs in quality then they need their heads checked. Jelavic alone is twice, three times the player than anyone in our squad. That doesn't mean we don't try, it doesn't mean we can't beat them, it doesn't mean it's acceptable to just roll over and hand them the three points, but let's have some sense of realism, please.
  21. One?! There's a lot more than one, sadly...
  22. So what the fuck were you complaining for earlier then?
  23. Use Windows Movie Maker. There's an option to rotate on it.
