Twats is far too strong a word, but you're right, they will.

    The Gaffer...

Anyone wanting McCall out after an initial few defeats were silly because he can't be judged fairly on a few games with someone else's squad. Anyone trying to claim McCall is a an excellent manager after a handful of victories is silly because he can't be judged fairly on a few games with someone else's squad. As far as I'm concerned, he's doing very well in the job so far. He does look like he's stabilised us after some traumatic times. His signings so far appear to be very shrewd. Things look promising. It's a credit to him that he appears to have won over a number of our support. However, let's not kid ourselves, if we get beat by St Johnstone, the "McCall Out" thread will be right back in focus...
  3. I think Hearts equalising against Hibs yesterday sealed our place in the top 6. Looking at the remaining fixtures, I think we could afford to lose to United and Hearts in the next two games and still sneak through by a point or two.

    Craig Brown

How do we know he didn't behave himself? He said something to Brown, but we don't know what.
  5. You'd like to think Caley and St Johnstone's fixtures would mean they're not going to win too many more points. In saying that, I'm not very confident we'll take anything from the next two games. With injuries and players dead on their feet, I fear a bit of a revenge doing by United. Then it'll be a nervous wait to see how other fixtures unfold...

    Craig Brown

I don't understand the criticism of Boyle. The only reason there was an incident is because of how Craig 'dignified' Brown reacted. Yes, it appears that Boyle has said something antagonistic, but as we don't know for definite what it was, I'd reserve judgement.

    Craig Brown

So he's told by the police not to make any comments, then he goes straight on to the radio and comes out with things like: "there are one or two, I think, who besmirch the dignity of the club." What an absolute c***o of a man. This is the point I made in an earlier thread this morning. If anything happens to Brown, he'll be straight out to the media playing the martyr and we'd all have to suffer listening to it. Sure enough, hours later, that's exactly what's happened.
  8. Well I seem to remember a pretty big thread of folk being upset when The Sun and Daily Record focused on our fans calling McGhee a paedophile. But that's a different story and not really my point... I'm not saying I give a fuck what those papers write about us. Maybe I didn't make myself clear, but my issue is with giving Craig Brown any more time in the media where he can play the martyr. If we leave in alone and pump them 3-0, he goes home with his tail between his legs. If we abuse him, he'll go running to the press about how doesn't deserve to be treated in such a way. It's not how we'll look I'm worried about, it's having to read/hear/watch all his bullshit again like we had to suffer when he left us in the first place...
  9. Exactly. What's going to happen if we do abuse Brown outside the ground? Irrespective of the result, Brown will run straight to the media to gurn and complain about the treatment he received from fans of a club he did his best for. The media will be outraged that anyone could criticise the sweet, gentle, Grandpa Broon. Listen, the c***o deserves all the abuse he may get, but he'll be hurting inside because he hasn't had the impact he thought he would at Pittodrie. We've got the positives of a semi final and possible top 6 to focus on. He's got nothing. I've enjoyed the last few weeks where he hasn't had any opportunity to be starring in the media. Please don't give him the chance now.

    Goals Vs United

The very end of that video says Sky have live coverage of both semi-finals? Am I reading that right?
  11. So did any of the above posts get read out then?
  12. As a 9 year old boy, I missed all of extra time because I was too scared to watch, so I went outside and kicked a ball around on my granda's lawn, pretending I was Dougie Arnott as I tried to dribble round the Dundee United players (otherwise known as my granny's washing out on the clothesline).
  13. MJC, you've got a pretender to your throne...

    Mark Reynolds

This. Always staggered me how little criticism Reynolds received compared to Craigan.
  15. I suppose the way to look at it is it's yet another tie for Dundee United in their already overloaded fixture list...
  16. That's just fucking magical!!! :yahoo: :yahoo:

    Celtic

Whoever wins this, it's going to be harsh on a number of other players who are all equally deserving.
  18. No offence intended, but it was only one game. Days ago, eleven players didn't "give a fuck". That was a ridiculous over-reaction. Now, with mostly the same players, we've beaten Celtic. Let's not have an equally ridiculous over-reaction.
  19. That's the 90 up. 4 minutes of injury time to be played...
  20. What a hero John Sutton is. Just saying.
