In response to Juan Kerse's idea, there's not a chance in hell that league deciders between Rangers and Celtic will be allowed to happen any time in the near future - let alone having them in the form of a double header! That's part of the reason why the fixtures are in a mess as it is - the SPL go out of their way to avoid the trophy being won in an Old Firm game. If that means messing up the 'diddy' teams' fixtures, apparently that's fine.

Nice try. If you actually look at the part of Frazzle's post that I quoted, you'll see I do "totally" agree. I left out the bit where Frazzle says he's murder, because he's not murder, as I've quite clearly stated. I left out the part where Frazzle stated we should sell him, because I'm happy with the defence we have at the moment. I "totally" agree with the point Frazzle makes that Reynolds seems to avoid the same degree of criticism as others. I "totally" agree that he's not the best defender at our club. This doesn't mean I don't appreciate his role in keeping all these recent clean sheets or him keeping his place in the team. I just resent the fact that if Craigan made that mistake last night, there'd be a 17-page thread demanding his instant sacking.

I'm sorry, but I TOTALLY agree with this. This isn't the first time we've seen a horrendous error from Reynolds. I accept that our players aren't going to be perfect, that they're going to make errors. Look through any of my posts and you won't find me criticising any of our players or saying they're not good enough - except Reynolds. And the reason for that is the amount of stick Craigan, especially, and other players get when, in my opinion, they don't make any more mistakes than Reynolds. I suppose the fact that he appears to be so immune to criticism makes me want to criticise him all the more. I'm not saying he's murder. But he's no way near one of the top 5 defenders in the SPL, and I honestly don't think he's even the best defender in our team.

I was going to post the exact same point, but after so many recent clean sheets, I'd thought I'd get shot down. Reynolds does have an knack of producing moments of sheer madness, sadly.

/\ /\ /\ It happens so often, it doesn't even anger me any more. It's just expected.

Mark Reynolds. The ratio of Craigan being responsible for the loss of a goal and people coming on here saying: "That was Craggs' fault. Pish." is far higher than Reynolds being responsible for the loss of a goal and people coming on here saying: "That was Reynolds' fault. Pish."

This. Football is ridiculously too expensive. The high ticket prices do put off a number of people, including me, from going to Fir Park. However, that's only part of the problem. The product (the game being played and the environment in which it's played) is diabolically poor. Watching that first half, all I could think was how lucky I was that I hadn't paid money to be there - and I would've felt like that whether the ticket price was £2 or £25. For £10, I can go to a cinema, sit in a comfy seat, and be entertained for a couple of hours. For £20, I can sit in a stadium that's falling apart, freeze my tits off and sit through a turgid 45 minutes of 'football'. I know that many people will say I'm not really a fan, and that if I feel like that then I should piss off and support the Old Firm. Fair enough. But I'm the type of fan that the club needs to be attracting on a more regular basis, because like it or not, another 4,000 hardcore loyal supporters are not suddenly going to appear any time soon.

Because it got you angry enough to use a punctuation mark?

Easily the most retarded thing I've ever read on this site! Actually, probably the most retarded thing I've ever read ANYWHERE! Wait, maybe that's an over-reaction, let me read your point again... Retard! Poor result to be out the cup, by the way.

How often have we said that? Ominous...

His best position is the bench?

I think it's a great signing for Hibs (sadly). Considering some of the points they've lost due to MaKalambay, I'm sure they were wishing they'd signed him earlier!
-
I don't for a second think that we'll miss him as a player. Not knocking him, just didn't rate him particularly highly. By the sounds of it, his personality and humour will be greatly missed by the squad. I wish him the best of luck for his new adventure.

Great idea for a thread! I'll leave the detailed replies to the more hardcore of our support, but the game of the decade for me was on the 10th May 2008, defeating Aberdeen 2-1 to all but seal third place. Was just a great day, so much emotion, and the fireworks in the sky at the full time whistle too. Obviously, the lowest moment of the decade was reading on teletext the news of Phil O'Donnell's death.

SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!!! Bloody stupid 'he said this', 'no I didn't', aye, you did' pish. I get enough of that working with the kids at school. Does it really matter?!

As others have said, the youngsters in our team will lose form at certain points over the season. Considering how many youngsters there are in our team, that's a lot of inconsistency to be dealing with. For me, a top six place is achievable, but only just. P.S. Can someone PLEASE fix the spelling in the title of this topic?!?
