Not on Youtube but Brian Martins goal at Ibrox in the mid 90s was an absolute screamer. We didnt win the game though, so in context Colin O'Neils goal is better. That goal v Thistle is a great team goal. Wasnt at that game so never seen it before. Moults yesterday is up there due to the occasion. The fact we hadnt beat them in a cup game in my lifetime and just the sheer audacity of it!

Colin O'Neills all day long. The quality of the strike, the occasion and importance of it and the score at the time. We also hadnt been in a final in 39 years.

It was a bit like Faddys goal in Paris. Absolute silence for a couple of seconds as the disbelief at what we had just seen passed and everyone looked at the linesman to make sure he wasnt offside. Then absolute mayhem ensued.......

Carson was excellent today. Made some really good saves and caught pretty much everything that came anywhere near him. Bowman put in another fantastic shift. Id need to see the elbow incidents again but I didnt think either of them were deliberate. Pretty solid performances from most of the midfield and thought Bigi did really well when he came on. MoM though is Moult. Quite simply we wouldnt be in the final without his goals. The £900k we will have made along the way if we were to win it more than justifies the decision not to sell him. Hopefully if he is to walk for free on the summer it will be as a Cup Winner!

The Rangers banner seemed to be a direct response to the Bois banner. I think the 27-1 is a reference to League Cup wins. Ironic, given that the tribute act havent actually won any League Cups. Just a Petrofac.....

Not the greatest game of football, but given what was at stake for both teams, maybe not that surprising. Thought they probably edged the first half. They had more territory and possession than us, and were winning more of the 2nd balls which surprised me. I would say though that clear cut chances were probably about even. Thought the second half was the reverse of that. We got lucky on a few occasions but we had more control of the game, won more second balls and probably deserved to win in the end. Great to put them out of a cup at last. This team just keeps pushing the boundaries of what we think is possible. Now we have 4 weeks to dream.....

This feels like a Cup Final. I only have a 1/3 win rate. Time to balance the books!

I would go with the same team again tbh. Only change I would consider is Hammell for Dunne but that might expose us for pace that side. If Frear gets a start surely its Tait that drops out? Id stick with him personally. Lets win our battles and the right to play our football. Having Frear Bigi and Tanner on the bench to bring on as impact players if needed is actually quite comforting!

My point was more about any perceived issues with Madden as referee v Sevco.

Im not naive enought to think choice of referee cant be important, but Bobby Madden was the referee in the play-off game at Ibrox. I dont recall too many bad decisions that night. We just battered them!
