Lol! Went to grab my mate in a big bear hug and my other mate came into do the same and copped it right in the coupon! Good job he wasnt in Paris the night Faddy scored! #findtheteeth

Sorry mate. Not gonna be fit to drive! Giving this one a miss although Im thinking bout the ICT game on the 4th.
-
Difficult to choose today. Lasley and Carswell covered a lot if ground, Vigurs was far more influential McManus was solid as ever and Ainsworth a real threat. However, Faddy was my MOTM and benefitted from being played up front in a more central position. More of the same please Mr McCall.

Fantastic performance and result. Hopefully this will put to bed the "he is pish" "waste of a wage" "mccall must go" nonsense. On a side note, if anyone finds some false teeth in their hood/pocket/handbag, please pm me. I knocked them out of the owners mouth at the first goal!

Normally prefer whit away kits but I really like that.

Ah the old polyester strips eh! I remember the 1980 Umbro Scotland tops. They were lightweight but itchy as f##k and when it was warm and sweaty they ate you alive! Love the classic designs but give me soft cotton every time!

Its been a tough few weeks for us as a club with some truly honking performances, falling attendances and feelings of indifference or ill will towards the manager and some of the players. However, it looks like we may have turned a corner, so time to get off those armchairs and rallye behind the team. Its the anniversary of Phils passing as well, so the timing is perfect. Lets regroup and show what being a Well fan is really about. COYW!

Great result. 3 on the bounce. Hopefully boost the travelling support on Sunday. Given its the anniversary of Phils passing hoping for a good turnout. Time to come back together as a club.

We shouldnt be giving up on 2nd at this stage. We are 1 point off second right now having been brutal to watch at times. If we can keep players fit and avoid unecessary suspensions we might just find some form along the way. Given our early cup exits, every penny will be a prisoner so we need to finish as high as we can to maximise prize revenue. If we can play some more attractive football while we are at it we might not see as much drop off at the gate which would be a further boost. No such thing as meaningless fixtures between now and seasons end. All the more reason we should be looking to keep Anier and Ainsworth if we can.

Think I'll stay away! Thats back to back wins I've missed. Not going to Pittodrie either so fingers crossed!

Quite a few got broken in the Parc de Princes when Faddy scored and there was no mindless vandalism involved. Just sheer unadulterated manlove!
-
Given the amount of ex players that seem to come back and play well against us Id be tempted to play Lawson and Vigurs. Ex players always seem to have something to prove. As long as we try something different and see some improvement in performance I will be happy. 3 points would be nice though!

Excellent post. We cant afford to sack the manager. We cant afford any new players. But we can and should be doing all of the above. I just hope the management team are thinking along the same lines and get on with it as its getting increasingly difficult to watch. SIWY.

Moore. Chased everything down and tried his best to take the game to Celtic. Unfortunately was doing it with no support so ultimately came to nothing.
-
Usually try to say something positive about the team/game but there really was nothing to draw comfort from today. Could try and disect it but there would be no point. It was a collective failure from top to bottom.
-
Dreadful team selection. Dreadful subs bench. Dreadful substitutions. Dreadful performance. Dreadful result. Just dreadful.
-
Null vote. First time ever. Usually try and find something positive to say but cant tonight.

Gonna be a good week at work!

Decent performance today. No more no less. Pretty even first half albeit we created the better chances and should have gone in at half time in front. Moore was excellent today but should have hit the target twice in that period and at least worked the keeper. Second half we stepped it up and were the better team by a distance. Well worthy of the 2 goal win. Perspective is required however as Killie were pretty poor at times in the 2nd half. Aniers turn and finish for the 2nd was worth the admission fee on its own. A baby step forward.
-
Vigurs. Much more positive and influential today. By no means perfect and still much more to give but a significant improvement on recent weeks.
-
Fairly even so far. Motherwell edging it on clearcut chances by about 4-1.
-
Will do. Meeting some Killie boys in the Brass and Granite for a few jars prematch. Beautiful crisp winters day down here on the Riviera. Wrap up well but bring yer shades!

Great Post. Just the kinda thing I was talking about but with bells on!

That would be a real shame. Was hoping that the housing market would pick up eventually and we could put together some community/business partnership to pull it off. Dont know the logistics of these things but it would be nice if we could show some ambition. Wont be anytime soon mind you. I should clarify, that I would always prefer us to play on grass and at Fir Park. Its just with our climate and an ageing stadium we will have to start planning for our future soon. A modern stadium with office/retail space generating income as many hours a day as possible would seem like the way to go.The pitch would have to be considered as part of the plan.
-
I quite like the idea of an artificial pitch but as mentioned earlier I think it should be tied in with a move to a new stadium at Ravenscraig. I think for a community based club like ourselves it would provide us with all the facilities we need and also open the club up to the community in the evenings. Make the club a real focal point of the community. I also think in recent seasons we have struggled through the winter months because we havent been able to play decent football on our pitch. Thinking particularly when McGhee was in charge. With the new artificial pitches that wouldnt be a problem. Incidentally, I really liked the look of Molde's stadium last night. 11,000 capacity. Looked a cracking venue. Accordinging to the commentary last night they are switching to astro too for next season.
