  1. Hateleys shot in the first half. Ojamma had one in the 2nd. That was it.
  2. Ring the changes. Time to show the team that no one is guaranteed their place if they have a shocker. --------------Randolph------------------ Hateley-----Ramsden----Hutch-----Angol Daley-----Lasley------Law------Murphy ------------Higdon----McHugh-------
  3. Only one man with pass marks. He stands in the middle of our goal.
  4. Havent read all the posts but has anyone mentioned the Thug McCullochs elbow in the 2nd half? Think it was Cummins that got it in the face. Should have been a straight red. Wouldnt have made much difference but think someone should "grass" him to the SFL.............
  5. Totally embarassed by that like everyone else. Was surprised by the starting 11 and think the manager has to take some responsibility for that. Cummins was always gonna get bullied by McCulloch and he did. Kerr was never gonna be quick enough against Lee Wallace. Unfortunately Aird was even quicker. Rangers weakness in defence is at right back yet we dont start Murphy on a huge pitch where he would have plenty space and Hately returned to type in the midfield berth with a poor display which was no great surprise. That said, the players really have to look at themselves and ask how badly they wanted that tonight. It was obvious how up for that game Rangers would be. Our lot should have had the desire to match that but they didnt. Hammell had probably the worst game I think I have ever seen him play and Humphrey caused their first goal and never wanted the ball after that. Really disappointing to be out of the cup but the worst part is how much fuel and sense of entitlement it wil give the Orcs. Time to ring the changes for Saturday.
  6. FFS. Has no one on here ever listened to an interview with any other football manager? Try listening to SAF, Mourihno or Wenger before a big game. They all do it to deflect the pressure off of their own team onto the other side. Christ, McCoist was even at it this morning as well. If he was saying the same thing in the dressing room I would be worried but McCall is a winner. He will be desperate to put one over on his okd team, not least because it might give him a chance of getting the job when McCoist is gone. I know our results against them havent been good especislly at Mordor, but our last outing there was decent as were one or 2 performances at the Arc. The playerss have to believe and take the responsibility when they walk on that pitch. Intae thum!
  7. Id go with this. Murphy will be smarting after being dropped yesterday and he will enjoy the extra space on the bigger pitch. With the state of their defence I would fully expect Murph Humph and Henrik to cause absolute chaos.........but only if McCall takes the shackles off!
  8. Was really annoyed at the end of the game having thrown away 2 precious points. But having calmed down, you just have to accept thats sometimes what you are gonna get with young players. Thought the manager could have helped with the subs, but again, he has got more right than he has got wrong during his tenure. Overall a good performance and THAT is the positive we must take into the next two games.
  9. Was between Lasley Hately and Law for me. The midfield played pretty well throughout. Went for Hately in the end as its easily the best performance Ive seen him give at centre mid. Disciplined performance and kept it simple allowing Lasley to play his own game. More of the same please Tam.
  10. Our record was crap on Setanta and also ESPN ........but this game is live on Sky Sports 4 so hope springs eternal!
  11. We will never get a better chance to beat them....... Lol!
  12. Higdons f***in pish. He cant run, he cant jump, all he does is score goals....... Lets all do the Higdon, lets all do the Higdon na na na na!
  13. Take it Faddy hasnt found a club yet? Not that it matters given he is a free agent, but how long is he going to leave it before he starts playing football again? Realise he probably wont sign for us, just want him back playing to give him a chance of getting back in the dark blue.
  14. Guid auld fashioned fitba team! Their centre halfs would be immense in the SPL!
  15. Anyone got an internet stream up and running?
  16. I see what you are saying and no doubt the St Mirren game is important given we are unlikely to turn around the Levante game. However, given the poor performances midweek, some players carrying injuries and the good performances already shown by the likes of Kerr Cummins Angol and McHugh, I think there is an argument that some changes would give us a BETTER chance of beating St Mirren and maybe challenge a few of the more established players to up their games to keep their places......... ps Given the fans that have already paid out on trips to Levante, I dont think we should be giving up on that game, however unlikely. Just get out there and have a go. Nothing to lose.
  17. Dont think we NEED to sell anyone. Otherwise the bids for Law and Hutch wouldnt have been turned down. Has to be a good thing as it means we no longer have to accept derisory offers out of sheer desperation. Big problem will be if decent bids come in late and Stuart McCall doesnt get the time to bring in decent replacements.

Agreed And once he does he will be out of Fir Park as quick as his agent can arrange it. Hopefully for a decent fee. We just need to appreciate him while he is here.
  19. Freshen it up and give some of the boys a rest ahead of Thursday. ---------Randolph-------- Kerr--Cummins----Hutch---Angol Humphrey-Carswell-Lasley-Murphy ----McHugh-----Ojamma

Exactly this. I could understand the criticism if his workrate had dropped and it looked like he was just here for the wage packet but that is clearly not the case. If all 11 players had shown the same level of desire and belief that Henrik did on Thursday night the result would have been different. He's not perfect, he has good games and not so good, but he rarely if ever hides.
  21. Cant agree with Ojamma. Although he didnt do anything ro catch the eye, his running off the ball looking for the pass into feet was tireless. Unfortunately it was one of the poorest displays from Lasley and to a lesser extent Law, for some time, therefore Henrik rarely got a sniff of the ball. It was no surprise that on one of the few occasions he did get it he chose to have a speculatuve shot. I for one would have subbed Murphy and Higdon as Humphrey and Ojamma did more to impress, or were less pish if you prefer. Just a bad day at the office all round.
  22. Has to be Adam Cummins. One of the few to emerge with any real credit on a poor night for us.
