Ramsden signing would be a very good piece of business. I feel we are only just starting to see the best of him after a few niggly injuries earlier in the season. Its also no coincidence that Big Hutch has started to come onto a game since Ramsden hit some form.

Was more intrigued about the keeper from Oldham. If we do our homework I think we have more of a chance of getting someone nearer Randolph standard down there.
-
I didnt think Athens was a shitehole at all. But then I didnt go anywhere near the railway station or the harbour. That said, I think we always have more of a chance against Northern European opposition so Id prefer a draw against some of those friendly Scandanavian or Baltic types!

Was desperately trying to convince myself to pick one of big Higgies given the season he has had but it has to be Higginbotham. Great passing team football and a technically magnificent finish. The celebration was no bad too!
-
All of the above. Lets show we are serious about being a community club. I pay at the gate but I really dont care if someone else is getting in for free. I can afford it and my day out was enhanced by the improved atmosphere. Watching the mini bois was a hoot. Get bums on seats anyway possible. Lets show people what a good day out coming to Fir Park can be.

Would be desperately disappointed if Law ended up at The Temple of Doom. I can understand the lure from a players point of view but if there are a couple of Championship clubs also interested then you have to imagine they can match Rangers wages and offer the possibility of EPL football. For the sake of his career development I hope he heads south.

We are ALL Stuart McCall...... .......which technically means we can all bask in the glory of this award! Except those that wanted him gone earlier in the season of course. You know who you are!

Thought Carsewell was solid and Keef was back to somewhere near his best but MoM was Humphrey. No question.
-
Used to be restricted to those games, however, we seem to wear them randomly now. Probably contractually obligated by the supplier to boost sales. The silver kit was used a lot and was quite a lucky one for us.

That adidas Roma top is a belter. Exactly the kind of thing we should be getting. Timeless classic.
-
All of these with the exception of top 2 are good. The pony one is my favourite. Its like a retro Andy Paton shirt.

Nothing in that kit to associate it with Motherwell. Its basically a black training kit with a Motherwell badge on it. Change the badge and it could belong to anyone. Poor effort. Any sort of claret and amber trim would be a huge improvement. After the silver and petrol blue kits this is an extreme disappointment.

Henrik. Better workrate and more consistency.

Ok the use of the word "disgrace" was maybe too strong. Much in the same way that the use of the words "crisis" and "disaster" in a sporting context are very rarely appropriate, yet as football fans we use them all the time. You are probably correct in that Celtic would have to have agreed to a redistribution of their prize money, and that was never going to happen. The other clubs would have viewed it that "the Rangers money" was never coming to them anyway so redisrtibuting that would mean everyone getting a little extra as opposed to one team getting a lot. Pretty easy to get everyone to agree too. The clubs SHOULD however, have taken this opportunity to redistribute 1st place for next year and should NOT be excused for having failed to do so. If Celtic truly want stronger competition as they claim, then financial re-distribution is essential to not only strengthen the challenge of the other SPL clubs but also the foundations of the league underneath. The difference in finance involved would be a small fraction of their overall income, but it would be massive for everyone else. Unfortunately I dont think Celtic are that serious about increased competition and the other clubs are too scared to take them on.

All the non OF clubs have already agreed to spread the 2nd place money to reduce the impact of the "lost Rangers revenue". Given that none of the clubs knew at that time where they would finish up it was probably a sensible and fair decision. Its a kicker now that it looks like we might get 2nd but not as big a disgrace as not taking Celtic on to redistribute some of their share. It should be looked at again with these new proposals. But I bet it wont.
-
Certainly appears far more sensible than the original proposals. Heres hoping we can get a decent tv deal with more regular k/o times that might allow us to lower admission costs and drive up attendances...... Ok. Maybe I took that too far!

I would prefer that ICT win their game so it gives our game more of an edge and we need the point to get over the line. Would make for a better atmosphere for our last home game of what has been a great season. I would play Higginbottom on the left and push Faddy through the middle and go for it. We need to try and get Higgy over the 30 mark. Only 3 to go!

No reason to doubt what you say Jo. Really hope it is just a case of handbags. The big man is better than that. Glad to hear his team mates stepped in to diffuse the situation.
-
Very disappointing and takes some of the shine off of the award. Can only hope there have been mitigating factors. Sure the full story will emerge in due course.
-
Voted player of the year by his fellow professionals? Dont they realise all he does is score goals! Michael Higdons havin' a party...... Well done big chap!
-
Went for Faddy for the 2 goals and 2nd half performance. Although Henrik wouldve got my vote w/o the red card. How much he was to blame Im not sure. Be interested to see both incidents again.

Was a great day out yesterday. Thanks to Suzy for organising the bus! The first half was a poor performance. The kind we put in more regularly near the beginning if the season so its still in there. Couldnt make my mind up as to whether it was as a result of tactics or just too many players having an off day at the one time. To single Faddy out is harsh. Second half was a different story and could only see one result until the sending off. Will reserve criticism of Henrik until Ive seen the highlights. Thought their pen was soft at best and a bit of a dive but would like to see it again especially given Henriks first yellow. A little deflated not to get the point we deserved to clinch 2nd but have left games feeling a helluva lot worse. Next week.

The club should play hardball. With the amount of out of contracters likely to leave, taking pressure off the wage bill, we should not be letting a contacted asset leave at a pittance. £1 million please. Then you may have our attention!

I have to confess, I was a lapsed Well fan living in Ayrshire. With a young family, it was just too easy to find reasons not to make the journey up to Fir Park every second week. However, I made a conscious decision at the start of the season that I was going to start going back to games and I have been to about 10 home games and both games at Rugby Park. Going to Inverness today. There must be others surely? I realise attendances havent been good this season, but I would be interested to see the figures split into home and away fans. The club reported an increase in season ticket sales and I have no reason to doubt that. Is it not more likely that it is the away supports that have collapsed? there certainly appear to have been some poor away supports at the games I have been at. Not surprising right enough with some of the scheduling for live games.
