Well said. But given we had this argument about Hately and Higdon last season and Mark Fitzpatrick before them its clear that the issue will never go away. Some folks just need a scapegoat. Somebody told me coming out of Fir Park on Thursday night that Nielsen wasnt playing because he had dodgy knees. Guy said he knew someone at the club. No idea if true but would be a concern if we have given a contract to someone who is going to be injury prone. All speculation of course as the source may not be reliable.

Had a very brief meeting with a group of 10 or so leaving JD's as we were going in. They were very nice, shook hands and wished us well apart from one guy who just gave me a Nazi salute. I was wearing my new gazelles though so maybe that explains it! Looked like theyd had a few sherberts and were enjoying the experience. My mate said theyd had a wee "sing off" with them before we arrived which was disappointing to have missed.

Good post. However.......

They are better than us. That is why we made mistakes and that is why they scored the goals that will eliminate us. We can talk all night about ifs and buts, however, this is the harsh reality of European football. That said, I saw enough tonight to suggest we will do just fine in the SPFL.

Well me and Nole 81 made the inaurgaral Ayrshire Steelmen foray into Europe! On the train back to gods country now. Disappointing result, but a babystep towards the formation of a larger group! Onwards!

Have done this before for ticket games. I did read elsewhere that the club will sell tickets from the ticket office up til k/o. However, when I payed by phone I was able to skip the queue! Call them in the morning. Sure they will sort you out.

I have no idea how they will line up and I have no idea how we will line up. Therefore I have no idea how this game will go! Given their resources they should be too strong for us, but did they spend their money wisely and will their players underestimate ours? Only one way to find out. COYW!

No news as yet but we should at least open the bottom tier as a pay at the gate option. Give fans every opportunity to attend at the last minute and increase revenue to the club.

You need to drive 1 hour to the Ayrshire Riviera to sample our wonderfull beaches! Unfortunately the temperature has dropped to around 20'C this week so I wouldnt recommend swimming in the sea! You will also get a warm welcome from the many Motherwell fans that have chosen to live in these wonderful holiday resorts!
