To be fair, I think the answer is all of the the above. Aye, we all want a wee bit of the ground so if folk want to stand up and watch the football, they can. Add to that, tickets that are a wee bit less expensive with most games at 3pm on a Saturday and I think we would see crowds creep up slowly. We aren't going to have the seats in one game with 4,000 folk, rip the seats out and that will jump up to 7 or 8,000. Bigger crowds will allow for a better atmosphere and we'll all be happy!

I loved the quote on the 'fishal photos section of the website

Lennon & McCartney. Tango & Cash. Turner & Hooch. Hammell & Law? Watching the two of them yesterday, they just seem to have 'clicked'. It was a pleasure to watch them up the left side of the park. Got to agree with you Andy, Stuart McCall's Motherwell Army!!!

Great atmosphere yesterday. I'm usually up that end just so I can stand up. The gap between the seats aren't the biggest for someone who's 6ft 4". It was brilliant watching the C&A flags flying and everyone jumping around. By the end of the first half, just about the whole section up that end was bouncing around mental. Brilliant!

I have to agree with the MOTM - Stevie Hammell. Although Law, Murphy et al well all great as well. I think Law will be a big player for us this season and will recieve many more awards as MOTM. And Hammell's goal, scudded off tthe post, off Ession's face and in the back of the net!

That's not my gripe. It's the ridiculous manner in which this 'journalist' over-eggs the pudding on every occasion. "The SPL aren't involved in molecular Physics, so they wouldn't even comtemplate it you nugget" Is that better? He is a fuckin' cretin of a man. And the way he goes on about his 'beloved Paisley Saints' gives me the boke. He's a c**t! As for splitting the OF, it's a new season. We all hope that this new season is good to us. Did you expect us to get top 6, league cup semi and a cup final as well as nearly qualify for the group stages of the Europa League? Naw, I know you didn't as your glass is half empty. You like to be surprised when we win and expect us to get beat. I hope we have as good a season as we had last season. I hope someone splits the OF (would love it to be us). And as I type this, the Jambos are holding their own at Ipox. The new season is yet unwritten, I'll discuss this with you next May!

Guy's a fudd. I can't watch that without wanting to punch his wee, squeaky pus in. I nearly hate him as much as that wank Traynor. "There's more chance of the SPL splitting the atom than splitting the OF..." Ehhh, naw! Ya Dick!

Well Celtic moved season ticket holders out of that area to accommodate the GB, so the club would just have to do that. I think perhaps more communication needs to be had. As well, anyone with a ST in the 2nd last section could be offered a move elsewhere with a wee bit off their ticket or stay in the official, club sanctioned singing section. And with it being the 2nd section, there is the chance for it to grow to the whole bottom end of the East stand.

I went for kit 'A' even though all 4 are cracking tbh. I prefer football tops with a proper collar on them and kit A is similar to the Hummel style we were wearing in '93 when I went to my first games at FP. Obviously the retro one is way better though...

I'm walking to a 'Well game from the house! It's a novelty.
-
I expect it will be much like the second half through in Greenock to be fair with the team made up of mostly U-19's and fringe players like Pollock and McHugh. But fuck it, walking distance to the football from my house. Yes please!!!

Just read on Twitter that Motherwell are playing Shotts Bon Accord on Wednesday 21st up at Hannah Park. KO at 7:00pm http://www.sba.teamexpert.co.uk/default.asp

Fucking raging I won't be there today. Sadly the twitter feed will have to do. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the 125th anniversary kit. Come on ye Well

So did i. Even said as much here. Just couldn't stay away though

I quite agree and I do see him improving on his form from last season. He could be seen as a senior player in the squad with his appearances, which, according to wiki is 140-odd. I think he will grow into the role of 'senior squad member' and help the less experienced members of the squad (I was going to say younger but he's just a pup himself) I see big things for Murphy. He's the second coming. Just waiting on the red Mohawk...
-
Thanks mate, now I can go ahead and plaster it everywhere.
-
Who is this a picture of? I think it's a fucking peach of a photo. Proper Roy of the Rovers stuff
-
And to give Murphy his due, I think he would be more than happy to stay for another season before going for about £1.5m. Especially after he's 2nd top goal scorer in the SPL, behind big Higdon I think he will go in the January transfer window if I'm honest. As long as he doesn't go to the either of the OF, I'll be happy for him.

That's for the train, is it not?

I'll not make it on Saturday and I don't think I'll make the Leeds game or Craigan's Testimonial due to work. Bad Times!

I'd put in about £20m for the running of the club but wouldn't want too much control for my money. I would also re-develop Fir Park, a classy European style stadium rather than a sitey Lego-land effort like SMP. I'd also have No. 7 in the squad list assigned to me, so when I was feeling like it, I'd get a wee run on for the last 5 - 10 minutes of a game, score the winner and lift the league trophy at a packed Fir Park. I'd also bung Airdrie a couple million to get back to the SPL and have a proper Lanarkshire Derby

Having seen the training kit the team was wearing tonight, I think I'll be spending my hard earned on that rather that the top. Thought it was cracking.
-
Have to agree with the above. One player that caught my eye tonight was Steven Lawless. He was causing bother up both wings and his year at Albion seems to have toughened him up at bit. Seen him a couple times last season and he got kicked to bits, but was quick up the wings and tricky when he cut in, much like tonight. Hopefully the start of good things from young Lawless.

So you'd rather we played in blue and white like Killie, Rangers, ICT or St Johnstone. How about Green and White like Hibs or Smelltic. Motherwell is Claret and Amber. As mentioned above, a quick glance is enough to tell that someone is a Motherwell fan. I've lost count of the times when abroad, somebody comes up to me and says "ye fae Motherwell?" Whereaboots?". As for changing the club crest, I believe the basic layout of the Shield in the middel with the Craig, the Fir trees etc could remain, butu we could modernise the typography of the text and maybe alter that. Personally, I love the C&A and our club crest.

TBH, I think that Jenno has already agreed in principle to sign a new deal but is just holding out, just incase someone comes in with a better offer. But i think he'll stay, and top man for dooing so!
