Eh? Not the point I was trying to make and you know it. Acts of nostalgia and folly are what I was getting at. Some interesting designs from Scandinavia (the club have noticed too) and decent debate, outweighed by the clamour for staying put and redevelopment of Fir Park, not the logistical nightmare involved. We've even had calls to turn the pitch (don't get me started on the surface) sideways! But, hey, if your wish is to ingratiate yourself with all the mile-outs, bullied at school, crisp packet headed scrounger and diminutive types on this board, batter in. Methinks if you were to check previous threads on similar subjects, I've been an advocate of when and not if we move to the other side of the West Coast Main Line. Hell, in previous employment (no, not when I was a paper boy) I was introduced to a member of the Motherwell staff at a project launch for Ravenscraig who informed me 'the development agency are falling over themselves to have us up there as a focal point" and "offer on the table for Fir Park to open up the bigger development at Motherwell College". As mentioned previously, many a change in policies and behavior of society supercedes. As the recession dictates, focus will have shifted somewhat. I still believe it will happen. Fanbase? Largest brownfield site of it's size in Europe, come the revolution, as I've mentioned before, the club have to embrace it. Attracting those who settle in the area? Construction of proper 21st century facilities may be the first step...

Yes, didn't count for anything then and similarly doesn't now. Certainly won't stop certain quarters talking absolute codshit on the subject.

And? Seem to remember Huddersfield(?) fans where Jutkiewicz had been on loan not being too complimentary... You'd never have Lucas out our team!

Anybody had a reply to their email? Just dropped in my inbox... Fraser, Thanks for your email. I note your comments and can understand your frustration. However, I find it surprising that you do not see an excellent chance of European football and an extra home game against Hibernian as a benefit of being in the top six. The limitations of the split means fixtures sometimes have to be reversed and, on occasion, a club will have 18 home games and 20 away games or vice versa. In terms of matches being moved, the TV cameras can visit a ground a maximum of six times in a season which strikes a balance between the wishes of the broadcasters and the need to maintain Saturday afternoon football for the supporters. Motherwell had four TV games before the split and two after it. One of these is a midweek. This season, due to the early finish imposed by FIFA due to the World Cup, we have had additional midweek cards but there will less pressure on the fixture card in 2010/11, fixtures for which will be published on June 17. For more information please visit on the post-split fixture process, please visit our website http://www.scotprem.com/content/default.as...0&back=home Kind regards David David Ogilvie Scottish Premier League Hampden Park, Glasgow, G42 9DE tel: 0141 620 4140 (switchboard) tel: 0141 620 4156 (direct) fax: 0141 620 4141 website www.scotprem.com e-mail davidogilvie@scotprem.com Tongue Fu! I think they call it in the business... He finds it surprising that I don't see a chance of European football? Here's what I asked of him... Yet, clearly on this occasion we look to have been penalised and then some. I believe our rivals for the at stake European places have been granted an unfair advantage with this unequal set of fixtures, makes a mockery of the term 'competition', wouldn't those in power agree? And, especially for ourselves, after we have, against the odds, earned the right to another home fixture with one of the Old Firm, failure to now qualify for European competition invites more financial downturn. Has me feeling the reward would have been actually finishing in a bottom 6 berth! More than one home fixture against other sides who are fighting for their lives with larger crowds as a result... C*nt. Highest order.

It probably would if they tested themselves in a league where it's about more than just turning up...

My award goes to Grammy, with Jennings, at the heart of everything we did well yesterday. No poor performers at all, I'd also like to mention Hammell for another strong performance and Craigan who epitomised everything expected of team captain - his show to the fans at the end was another highlight to my day.
-
Eh? Another for the 'Jim O'Brien is Pele and Joe Cole on loan as replacement' botherers on here...
-
Well, he hasn't. Not even on the radar 33? 34? Goes against the grain (Craigan apart) of what is trying to be achieved at our club, no?
-
I don't think he has... How often does he use the South Stand? Facilities are lacking (I know it's only for those who don't follow our club, I've spoken to some who don't and it enters conversation) and not aesthetically pleasing going by paintwork condition and present building movement. I see that most Saturday mornings as the bin lid goes to the morning coaching, unsure if Cooper Stand is similar as I only enter for the Cooper Lounge and Cooper boxes on occassion. It's the style and design that adds to the hefty maintenance bill, so fail to see how they are 'class'. A new East Stand? 2 tiers? ? I'd wager the logistics of that would mean the jump to the other side of the West Coast Main Line would be taken that bit sooner...

Whilst I thought he was wrongly panned in the aftermath of the Sellick match... You cannot defend the indefensible.

Discussed before, many a change in policies and behavior of society supercedes. An act of local government changing land use would hold no fear for the developing company... a lot more commonplace than you may think and I'd suspect there are many at North Lanarkshire Council would be easily swayed

It's done less than regularly

I'll just wait and see what comes my way this year...

And coming from somebody who's named after 'he who has had more seconds than the town clock' Imrie... We'll still be straining our necks looking down on your lot!
-
He's already written this season off with a view to being fit for a pre-season and his tilt at the first team...

Source of complimentaries finally run dry I'd suspect

Away games are affordable when you are as scruffy as steelboy, Stig of the dump wears his rags better than him Retort by funny quip will lead to a parting of your Sandy Shaws Don't attend the San Giro as a rule, but, the dole can only stretch so far... still haven't worked out how the the sausage rolls and macaroons that frequent Flemington House claim as much!

Flaps like fuck? Here try these... Amateur punditry and those of the goalkeeping persuasion have a home here right enough!

That's how it finished, probably the fairest result. Dario Quinn forced off with one of the best goal line clearances I've probably seen, be surprised if the post hasn't stop shaking or is damaged as he clattered that on the way down. Hearts took advantage of the enforced substitution as the Motherwell team lost a little shape, two quick fire replies and crashing a header of the bar too. Motherwell played themselves back in and could have sneaked a winner late on from Smith. As others will have seen, a plentiful supply chain. Dario Quinn, Jamie Pollock, Gary Smith and the terrier like midfielder Innes the pick today.

Well, McGlinchey was on a separate training regime to that of the Under 19's yesterday morning and not at the high tempo set by the 1st team in the afternoon... I'd rule him out. Hammell was absent too, but, I'd expect him to feature. Jutkiewicz looked every bit worth the 4/1 anytime scorer on offer at Ladbrokes mind.

Outside party only raised this an hour prior to training this afternoon...

Need to declare our under age keepers injured for his registration to be authorised? Well, I'm sure that's what Mr Knox said...
