I'd wager the logistics of that would mean the jump to the other side of the West Coast Main Line would be taken that bit sooner...

I'd suspect compensation from Aberdeen for the release of McGhee would cover most if not all costs incurred. Not overly concerned, as we are told of a return to profit this current financial year.
