  1. Eh? Another for the 'Jim O'Brien is Pele and Joe Cole on loan as replacement' botherers on here...
  2. Well, he hasn't. Not even on the radar 33? 34? Goes against the grain (Craigan apart) of what is trying to be achieved at our club, no?
  3. I don't think he has... How often does he use the South Stand? Facilities are lacking (I know it's only for those who don't follow our club, I've spoken to some who don't and it enters conversation) and not aesthetically pleasing going by paintwork condition and present building movement. I see that most Saturday mornings as the bin lid goes to the morning coaching, unsure if Cooper Stand is similar as I only enter for the Cooper Lounge and Cooper boxes on occassion. It's the style and design that adds to the hefty maintenance bill, so fail to see how they are 'class'. A new East Stand? 2 tiers? ? I'd wager the logistics of that would mean the jump to the other side of the West Coast Main Line would be taken that bit sooner...
  4. Whilst I thought he was wrongly panned in the aftermath of the Sellick match... You cannot defend the indefensible.
  5. Discussed before, many a change in policies and behavior of society supercedes. An act of local government changing land use would hold no fear for the developing company... a lot more commonplace than you may think and I'd suspect there are many at North Lanarkshire Council would be easily swayed
  6. It's done less than regularly
  7. I'll just wait and see what comes my way this year...
  8. And coming from somebody who's named after 'he who has had more seconds than the town clock' Imrie... We'll still be straining our necks looking down on your lot!
  9. He's already written this season off with a view to being fit for a pre-season and his tilt at the first team...
  10. Source of complimentaries finally run dry I'd suspect
  11. Away games are affordable when you are as scruffy as steelboy, Stig of the dump wears his rags better than him Retort by funny quip will lead to a parting of your Sandy Shaws Don't attend the San Giro as a rule, but, the dole can only stretch so far... still haven't worked out how the the sausage rolls and macaroons that frequent Flemington House claim as much!
  12. Flaps like fuck? Here try these... Amateur punditry and those of the goalkeeping persuasion have a home here right enough!
  13. That's how it finished, probably the fairest result. Dario Quinn forced off with one of the best goal line clearances I've probably seen, be surprised if the post hasn't stop shaking or is damaged as he clattered that on the way down. Hearts took advantage of the enforced substitution as the Motherwell team lost a little shape, two quick fire replies and crashing a header of the bar too. Motherwell played themselves back in and could have sneaked a winner late on from Smith. As others will have seen, a plentiful supply chain. Dario Quinn, Jamie Pollock, Gary Smith and the terrier like midfielder Innes the pick today.
  14. Well, McGlinchey was on a separate training regime to that of the Under 19's yesterday morning and not at the high tempo set by the 1st team in the afternoon... I'd rule him out. Hammell was absent too, but, I'd expect him to feature. Jutkiewicz looked every bit worth the 4/1 anytime scorer on offer at Ladbrokes mind.
  15. Outside party only raised this an hour prior to training this afternoon...
  16. Need to declare our under age keepers injured for his registration to be authorised? Well, I'm sure that's what Mr Knox said...
  17. Erm, naw. The gradient which gives approximately a 1.3m drop from all sides to the north west corner puts paid to that.
  18. Al, it's called carelesness For me, the pitch played worse than it had previously. Clear for all to see, pitch has had some recovery time recently and shown little signs of regrowth and again poorly maintained. Why?
  19. Absolute crock of shit - and that's from inside the club Mr Dickie also says, LAY OFF THE PLANT FOOD
  20. I'd suspect compensation from Aberdeen for the release of McGhee would cover most if not all costs incurred. Not overly concerned, as we are told of a return to profit this current financial year. Unlike he'd have you believe, Mr McGhee was given everything he asked for at Motherwell to the detriment of the balance sheet... his raised salary no doubt adding to our overspend. Alarmed, yes, that the current custodians perhaps returned to old ways chasing an impossible dream. Again, lessons learned, I'd rather we perform on and off pitch as has been viewed/reported this season. Loads of top flight clubs would welcome this position. Onwards and Upwards
  21. Current East Stand reconstruction may put paid to that. Lothian and Borders apparently uneasy on plans to house both supports...
  22. Covers of the germination type (I'd expect) were down on Saturday morning when I was there...
  23. Another outgoing of grief... what next, an obituary page? C'mon admin you know it makes sense. Not wanting to sully memories of which there are many, but, celebrate his day of birth when he played for us did you? I thought not.
