Nae bother. There’s a view from behind the goal that perfectly sums the take up and freely available online. https://twitter.com/sjfcnews/status/1620911630639923200?s=46&t=UkKyhhTpCppnaniMPkx13w Where did I say he gets correct side? Hallberg is never on his arse. Our player doesn’t stop, playing to the whistle then claims - begs the question what highlights did you watch? Mark yir man!!! How insightful, you ever played football? It wasn’t his man for starters…

indefendable? What’s that? My take? It’ll trump yours at anyrate. Think we had a shout for a foul, could also be the case McGinn should’ve been stronger in the challenge. He goes down we get the free kick, if not he has to take the opposition out. Unfortunately Dean caught wrong side as he looks to move to next phase, he does get back to intercept and ball bobbles over his foot. Hallberg doesn’t have to pick himself up or ‘get up to score’ as you put it. Another defending player is closer and Kelly unsurprisingly doesn’t cover himself in glory. Dean then turns to referee to claim, natural reaction to many including McGinn in this instance.

Turn it up. True? I suppose a broken clock is correct twice a day too…

What a shite comment on a particularly poor take.

It’s not 4-3-3 though so your argument doesn’t hold much water at all. The shape is pathetic mind.
-
I’m failing to see shoehorning McGinn into our starting 11 curing our ills.
-
He asked to get out long before Alexander was in the building. Whilst the conversation may have been had, the contract request couldn’t be further from the truth - no matter how many times you tell yourself.

Bit more realistic in who they’ve spoken to Ange about…

No doubting the financial pull of their larger fanbase, it’s the same Hearts who have willing philanthropists within their fan foundation. Some painting a darker picture than it should be. Club recognise mindset requires changing as the footballing landscape in which we operate has changed massively in recent times with Brexit a contributory factor.

Not me. I’d take a lottery win every time. Lets hope for consistency.

Who’s not gave him a chance? Only asked a question…

Blaney at a guess shoehorning McGinn at centre? Could just as easily be Max Johnston who’s comfortable on either flank at left back with experience of doing so. We’ll see soon enough.

Dropped for a guy who’s scored 1 goal in 23 games in League 2. Be careful what you wish for?

Explained elsewhere. The next step from headless chicken - a type that hares into challenges that’ll excite some but, others realise the game has evolved and that conviction is misplaced.

Yes, they can. How many do when following instruction? Flair is coached out of far too many much to the detriment of the sport. Perhaps needs more of a selfish streak. Some are just tasked with doing the unglamorous work. Very much needed, but, as he’s not the flying anorak type he’s dismissed. Just shocked you never dropped in seeing him at national level age groups. Billy Gilmour being the only flair player amongst ‘em. Then.

Like I say, revisionism. Think the misty eyed would’ve seen a transfer fee akin to the player they thought we had. The club nurtured in a different way, marketed the player and should realise an additional stream from his progress. The players’ character and worth ethic embellish the talent. Onto our player. The reason? Don’t know who you’ve been talking to, it certainly doesn’t align with those that matter. Has it ever occurred to you that he’s developed because he’s followed instructions to the letter? Gametime as mentioned won’t define him. Take the shackles off, get the balance right and there’s more chance it’ll pay dividends. Personally think it’s a forlorn hope, certainly as someone isn’t practising what he preached.
-
It’s not a comparison between the two players that’s being made. It’s the opportunity given to both. We get Allan Campbell has a special place, and deservedly so. I’d wager Dean isn’t after being the ‘next’ Allan Campbell despite lots of focus on everything he did. He’ll want to be the first Dean Cornelius. Unfortunately, it looks like he’s dealing with an ego that knows no bounds in current coaching staff.
-
Revisionism at its fans’ forum finest. 100x the player? Of course he had dips in form, it’s the most natural thing in young footballer’s making their way in the game - the difference being he was afforded the opportunity to make these mistakes and learn from them in sustained gametime which many feel could be replicated with others. I’ll go on the word of those who’ve actively been involved in his development. Nothing cryptic or ITK before you start, all carried out in public. Lack of gametime won’t define him as a player. Hammell & the kid in question will soon realise there’s a bigger world out there than Motherwell.
-
And how do you know Dean hasn’t got a great engine? Point being made is getting him in the team regularly would be a start. Dress it up how you like, Allan Campbell had lengthy dips in form -persevered and tolerated mistakes when they inevitably happened - Dean hasn't really had the same opportunity, so plenty are unsure how good he is or could be.

😂 A lot more to recruitment than you think. But, aye, agent pish is an easy out right enough.

Merit in what you say although I’m not sure I’d hold up the St Johnstone signing as some sort of virtue. Too many variables, costs to loan are beyond some means & proposed partnerships only reduce the rates slightly. It is what it is.

Nobody can fail to be impressed by those stats. That’s a signing coup right there.
