Whilst we've gathered you are either on the groundstaff or related to those who are... your reply has more holes in it than swiss cheese! The undersoil heating installed in areas which have had heavier snow fall this week the length and breadth of Britain have coped admirably, why not ours? Please be reminded that it's not a trick question. The pitch was looking 'as good as it can be'. Although panto season is now officially over - Oh! No it wasn't. Lush green grass, rolled flat perhaps with a slight camber to suit drainage? It's not a mirage I'm seeing - plenty of other clubs are achieving this. A blind man running for his life will see the pitch has deteriorated under the current groundsman!!! I personally do have an idea where that statement has come from - from those in the know and qualified in the subject field. So the head groundsman has been the longest serving, why were the club attempting to recruit the groundstaff from Dalziel Park to replace the current staff? Well, they consistently managed certified grade 'A' surfaces on a reduced budget to that at the 'Ark... Have faith? In what? The groundsman taking a pride in his work? Piss.

Have a word with your source. There was no police presence (I wonder why), hence, why there was trouble.

Is it not you who is the bigot? Another ill informed comment from yourself on something you know nothing about and to which you have previous. Orange morons? Have they been tango'd?

Horses for courses? Had it drummed into us as kids, YOU DON'T CHANGE A WINNING TEAM. A boot in the sandy shaws for Sutton IMHO. Pleased with the formation change, Sheridan will contribute more, though after getting back into the game and the one way traffic we enjoyed, we didn't create nearly enough. -
While Jay and underboyleheating get their knickers in a twist... Spoke to Marc recently at length on the subject, "water off a ducks back" was his reply. All about focus and perversely tries to use this to his advantage. A lot for young shoulders? For me, we are a better team with him there than when he is not. Didn't surprise me that Stephen Hughes defended him, the shift Fitzy does allows Hughes to press albeit not with the same effect as last season. That'll come, evidence of that at United, Hibs and post formation change yesterday. I also believe Hughes to be playing through injury for most part of this season, but, them's the breaks.

Steady decline under the current groundsmans' stewardship and those in power know it. Understanding the current financial climate, the groundstaff still have equipment available way and above what others use to ensure acceptable playing surfaces in the district and are found lacking. The claim "It can't get any worse" is one of folly to boot.

There has been many, Semi-Final against Hearts, Skippy Sunday. Remember the perimeter fencing being ripped off in the Semi-Final replay with Celtic after we equalised first time round. I'd rate the celebrations after Mio scored the winner at Easter Road up there too!

Erm why? You take life far too seriously...

Compare that to c£20 million received by our UEFA Cup opponents Nancy for a similar placing... punched well above our weight and will continue to do so.

Utter tosh! Tarred with what brush? Bearing in mind there is zero requirement to follow Rangers to join the loyal orders, the trustees are running a business. The loyal orders (I'd wager some are patrons of the club too) have as much right to make reservations for functions and in this case meals before the return parade as any other group/organisation. I'm quite sure if the same booking was taken to use the facilities within Fir Park itself, the hospitality department at the club would rush to fulfill any such bookings or would that still rankle with the non believers... 3 pages of piss and counting

Not wanting to take us off thread. I'll second that, third it too. Anybody else?

Didn't see any evidence for the hysteria at all, Stirling to Perth a little hairy at times, but, the only sheer effin madness was aboard the Maros Klimpl Loyal bus
-
Only if Septic allow him to be cup-tied... Can't do a job in the league against them either, when his presence against the statue like defence could make the difference. Big Sutty, BANG! should be match fit by then. Shit Stabbers?

Well spill, it's an open forum ready for debate!

If I'd known... 2pm from the War Office, keep the wee man posted and we'll see what we can do.

The coach hirers have 2 buses stuck in snow in Newmains!!! He's still taking us northwards at 2pm
-
As we've been told previously, there is no terracing for the away support and we would be required to stand on a grass banking. Presuming it's covered in snow, would the authorities allow the go ahead?
-
Not even got either player on board and they've been condemned! Easy to suspect you ain't no footballer manager.
-
Hughes for me, at the heart of everything we did well yesterday. Not a failure in that team anyroads. Be interesting to see if the coaching methods of McGhee rub off on Big Sutton, that and he'll soon have match sharpness similar to his start at the club.

Cloudy Express/Maros Klimpl Loyal, check thread on travel info page - all the fun of the fair guaranteed, if the game is on. Contact by PM

Other aspects? Pearson on loan! Currently getting back to full fitness, well capable of adding a new dimension to our left hand side... then the blinkers could come off for many on this board
-
Dry your eyes! Things are never that bad, what purpose would it serve? Do you think you would be offered a refund?

Liam Miller has just moved to that little known West London outfit QPR has he not?

Not entirely true there. Post weighing up the pros and cons of a move to a then relatively safe Dumpdee or Hampdump bound Motherwell, a personal plea from his father direct to Terry Butcher followed. Motherwell couldn't do a deal or wouldn't as the agent involved was described as unscrupulous to say the least. The next morning, ill advised by his agent, that's bearing in mind the agent was dealing directly with the renowned for dodgy practice Marr brothers, big Tel phoned as Tam made his way into Jim Duffys office having given him his word to sign for them. Motherwell offered more money too. Forward two seasons, Tam was in Maurice Malpas' office about to sign the paperwork in front of him when Mr Malpas was requested to head upstairs. Re-entering the office he told Tam of his demise claiming his position had been undermined and Tam left resurfacing at Dunfermline. So where and when did he actually knock us back? Anyroads, would I have him at the 'Ark just now? Definitely not as a replacement for Ports, I'd be interested what Mark McGhee could get out of him as a player though. His stock at that is good enough for me - McGarry? Klimpl? O'Brien? That and he'd be a fine resource for comps
