  1. Not saying they will give it away. They have been actively looking to offload the area for a few years having now condemned the Pavilion and it's use. Our amateur team would be among the last to utilise the facility on a regular basis. As I recall, a local boys club recently failed in their attempt to take the place over. It would certainly align with the current zoning of 'leisure use'.
  2. Strathclyde Park, entering from the pavilion off Watling Street.
  3. I'm glad you aren't part of the scouting network. Only person for captain and a squad rebuild around him would be Carl McHugh for me.
  4. Think that sums it up. Creative bunch our Bois though and that would lead into your second point. Do Accies not offer free tickets in their town centre for every match much to the annoyance of their erm, core support? For a club who play up the 'derby' tag (as our club has of late) to do that for a match against us with as much at stake is laughable. This is how it feels to be Accies...
  5. Berra? Experience, whilst reducing the average age of the squad should be the outlook. I'd be expecting some future Society influence on contracts offered to those over 30 also. 1 year maximum for me.
  6. That's a poor show. They've not to best of my knowledge bought a group of tickets and certainly don't intend to sit there...
  7. Hearing Accies will deny access with any banners amongst the away support. Suspect the colour will come from other sources... As the ticket sales show... Battle fever is on
  8. Sweeping statement that. Thistle didn't do too badly with his defensive partner Keown. Built a foundation that took them all the way to the top six. Well, that and clever investment of their Euromillions money...
  9. This is Hamilton Accies. A matchday operation that doesn't align with top flight football at any rate. Allocated seats? Laughable in the extreme, an attempt to discourage our normal fan gatherings in creating the backing the team receive anytime we are there? Starting to get the battle fever on mind you...
  10. Mark McGhee was about to embark on a 6 game suspension. Certainly made sense to have a different opinion in there given we were in freefall.
  11. If our information is correct (Nae Chinese fortune cookie chat on this one) there is an element of truth in both statements. It's been done to death, time to move on.
  12. Reckon the young team will have pyro aplenty with a banner reading "Disabled Supporters funds go up in smoke" given the latest revelations... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/treasurer-motherwell-fcs-disabled-fan-10383045 Naughty
  13. So like I said... Hasn't changed anything since except personnel at his disposal no? The system has remained the same with dire consequences.
  14. Kilmarnock aside, he set up like this against Rangers & took a deserved point. Hasn't changed anything since except personnel at his disposal. Inexperience over experience has been a major factor.
  15. Aye, things are bad, negative in the extreme at the moment, but, to add lies to the argument helps nobody. Are you implying current club chairman Jim McMahon or as has been suggested Derek Weir is still behind the scenes have no business prowess? That's a corker even from you... It will never change? We are in a period of change just now, yeah, not setting heather on fire currently, but, we're slap bang in the middle of what was heralded as a five year process that has had more moves than a game of chess to date which advocates what we end up with will differ from what we have now.
  16. I'm not so sure they have made it 'all ticket' - purchasing of advance match tickets is available for most matches is it not?
  17. White shorts with the home kit It's been done, let it go. As for fan design? The last one was hardly exclusive and I would hope the Society has more pressing matters to discuss.
  18. Managers, personnel & formations have all been changed this season. The one constant has been our liability of a goalkeeper.
  19. Skewed thinking that. Inexperience over Experience? Moot point, but, Owen Coyle had a stellar record in Scotland before moving Southwards. Relative success then moves to clubs at varying stages of crisis - could've been here with a point to prove & rebuild. All the best to Mr Robinson, just need to remember he has the signing of Josh Law on his CV, I'd say that wasn't too clever.
  20. Aye? Suspect the truth will out... No cryptic or any fortune cookie chat - the club wanted Coyle, Coyle fancied the challenge then reneged due circumstances outwith our control. I forgave him for a lot because of the penalty at the open air Masonic Lodge, but, he's back to being a soap dodging, bog trotting Airdrie bastard It won't be long to find out if replacing experience with inexperience has worked.
  21. It would surprise you who did... Gary Locke whilst in the employment of Kilmarnock?
