  1. Behave yourself. Nearly half a stand available last time we played them on league cup duty at their current abode.
  2. Yeah, currently in a protective shoe. Expected to be 4 to 6 weeks out (already missed 2) having broke a bone in his foot in training the day after being told he would fill in for Ainsworth at right midfield for the first two matches I hear.
  3. You've answered your own question there... Other transport has become cheaper & more viable than travelling by coach on most occasions. Part of the beauty of The Bois awayday coaches (and their predecessors) is they don't have to conform to club instruction or strangled by the constitution of the supporters association which has been problematic in itself in recent seasons. Saturday just goes down to experience. Club subsidising that journey wouldn't have kept the coach roadworthy.
  4. Think most rank and file supporters agree on the requirement to protect the defence, but, I've seen nothing in 4 pre-season matches that suggest Lasley has the discipline to perform that role under Mr Baraclough's stewardship. 2nd goal from Preston on Friday night suggests same. Last season was a season too far methinks.
  5. Oh! it did... Spawned a Faddy versus Law thread too.
  6. Definitely merit in that ideal. My old fella has been waxing lyrical more or less word for word for months! Me? As much as I was an advocate of having him in the squad last season (wager we wouldn't have plummed the depths we did had we taken the chance) despite I and others being told there is no place for sentiment & Josh Law was a better prospect... I'm afraid his time at the top level has passed him by given his injury curse. Shame. Understanding his age, he'll feel he has something to offer at whatever level, I'd have him make his way in coaching at ours.
  7. I've no idea either. Have you seen him at any other games? Hackett is English gentry clothing.
  8. Took umbrage at how the club approached the previous offer & none too complimentary either so I'd rather as I suspect we'll leave well alone here.
  9. So, from incorrectly stating 'orange marching band' we get the facile comment? Usual whataboutery even for you that knows no bounds. As for his correctamundo comment... Deary me. Ignorant to the last.
  10. Vast majority of folk on here definitely do? Definitely do what? Ignorance?
  11. Sorry, I didn't. Knowing there is no such thing as an orange band unless this wee fella bangs a drum or that in his spare time...
  12. No such thing unless their uniform matches that colour?
  13. Changed already, then found the XL to be no where near 4 inches extra compared to the large. 2nd change tomorrow...
  14. decorator... That gift from the club at Flamaturi - did you ever take delivery or is it still for show in the Centenary Suite?
  15. Brain. Engage. Before. Posting.
  16. Some fairly high placings... From what I clocked in Holland the other night, let's learn to walk before we can run.
  17. No need to describe some of our fellow supporters as such. GSTQ.
  18. My local lodge are drafting up a letter of thanks as we speak... The club are bang on the money here & focusing on the community initiative also - given we are the host district for the BIG parade in the town next Saturday.
  19. Piffle. That's the sash my father wore! Like 'em. A lot.
  20. Jack leitch not back in the fold?
  21. Wind yer neck in... hardly berating & for the record nobody mentioned knowing more about football. Agree if he was good enough he would still be at Motherwell. You stated a need for a 3 man midfield, wasnt quite getting that & offered a differing opinion. Simples. And I'm well aware there is a difference between pace and pace of the game, hence, his engine was good enough to motor in the holding role no?
  22. Play football much? Agree, not sad to see him go either, but, a 3 man midfield needed? Tosh. Had all the attributes to have been the holding midfielder, pace isn't a necessity by the way... instead of employing 2 box to box centres like we have done, think Carswell could have been the perfect foil to sit in the hole and protect the defence.
