Administration staring us in the face? Enlighten us... Things may be bad on the park with some perceived notions of chaos off it too, but, a business decision like that is unlikely.

Is it? Upkeep? Do these facilities maintain themselves? The club were creative at Braidhurst & also at Dalziel Park with costs favourable to owning & operating their own. The proposed community hub may well come to fruition as the club evolves, this seems to be a perceived norm to attract both new first team additions & developing youth talent. The teams you mention have facilities part funded by local government which allows for community use, under no circumstances would North Lanarkshire Leisure back any similar moves at Fir Park when they have their Ravenscraig development just up the road.

Fanciful notion for some, to the point we can't be sure if trolling or serious. Too say the slope at our current home could be dealt with is laughable unless the demolishing & reconstruction of the stands is part of any plan, these suggested money savings would be where? How many of these clubs are utilising the pitches for community use? We have the council run Ravenscraig facility on our own doorstep, would the patrons who use that suddenly stop & rent any new pitch at Fir Park or are you suggesting there are/will be a new generation of willing customers? We also have in the development stage a community hub off Shields Drive that will feature both artificial & natural surfaces. Currently, we utilise the differing surfaces at both Dalziel Park (whose grass surfaces can be held in same regard as grade A pitches eg, the national stadium & our top flight with the recently laid artificial surface identical to that at Rugby Park with its longer pile type that allows rugby to be played) & our academy pitch at Braidhurst on favourable terms so the push for a new facility isn't driven by running costs, but, by a view to the future. For the record, there is no such surface as 4G, 5G or 6G pitches. Creative advertising by the manufacturers, claiming to have the latest innovation of synthetic sports surfacing. Basically saying they have designed the fourth generation, fifth generation and sixth generation of the sports artificial carpets, but, no accreditation is yet given for this standard to date.

John Berry definitely has a face for radio... Time to give the public what they want - steelboy, you know it makes sense.

He ran the show at Bramall Lane for Coventry the night I was there too. A big favourite of mine - truth is we have never replaced him.

Poor retort to a relevant point. If Mr Baraclough has selected Ketamine Kerr for that role unadvised we may well have made the wrong managerial appointment for some time... As for your reference to our last game of the season victory - that will be the same game where he helped preside over a performance where we were 30 seconds away from not having a shot at goal in a game we had to win? Steven Hammell heralded his continued appointment which suggested to me at least of the comfort zone that exists. New broom should sweep clean
-
Persevere with him? I suggest we have for too long.

Here we go again... My post was a reply to the question being asked 'which game?'. Without the need to be superior - quip made referring to the conjecture referred to the previous day's match. No claims from me that anything untoward has gone on you'll see, but, batter in if it suits your obvious seethe at not being in the loop.

Motherwell Miners have defenders streets ahead of Kerr, yet, we've had others advocating he must get a run in a natural position!

Don't have to be Einstein, given the punch drunk like performance yesterday...
-
Suspect we'll be looking at the goalkeeping department...

You've really not got a handle on this have you? No bank debt, creditors paid in full... Who is likely to put us into administration? And for the avoidance of doubt, the scheme has worked with another dipping into the reserves at the moment...

Really? May well be the case, but, on the other hand, can we afford to keep them on? I'd expect funds to be found if it meant securing the right persons for the job. -

Seeing as it's not the board, per se, who are conducting interviews... Thought you would know that from the lofty stance you normally take. -

Why? He was only given an interview as a favour to an agent -
As they assume the position, current free fall could well be record breaking given they'd be the only team to have amassed a certain level of points in the first quarter & yet fail to land a top six berth. Weren't the best team we have faced no matter what some mentioned on here. Whilst they have sold merchandise with 'Pride of Lanarkshire' on the back of two poorer than poor performances from us & talked of European qualification... rumours abound of the cash that's washed over there propping them up may well run out
-
Fully understand that - wasnt questioning its use, but, the claim made by a previous poster

Eh? Read my post again... I'm well aware any clause is only as good as the people signed up to it. The post was in relation to a remark 'Yesterdays news was almost certainly leaked to the media by one of the three parties involved anyway'. By that reckoning, Benefactor, Society & the club. Benefactor insisted on confidentiality, can't see the Society leaking information given the lengths they've gone to recently to keep their side of the bargain, so was the poster suggesting the club? Our information was from sources within & no reason to doubt. I too am also comfortable with the way the club & society have gone about their business.
-
Almost certainly? Just as many thought - the confidentiality clause is much like Mr & Mrs Claus... a myth? Oh, given who relayed the information, it's a lot more credible than your conjecture.
-
Let's not be kidded - this has been leaked by weegie media to derail progress at our club. Fuels spurious claim from the orcs that 'he holds shares at ours'. It's a loan from what information we have been given, you know, a thing that is borrowed, especially a sum of money that is expected to be paid back with interest? Hello? Mike Ashley? A truly despicable lot...
