Costa Geriatrica Take it the kids will be away at Cowdenbeath?
-
A jumping of the gun there...
-
Aye, we know that. He's slotted in there well after an indifferent start., but, has he the minerals to be the attack minded full back we'd expect? Doubt it as he's slower than a week in jail (I'll ask makaveli for his thoughts) and could be a rape and pillage (could ask makaveli for his thoughts on that too ) for the opposition next season...

From this to the following conjecture... Right, so you've a link to the player in question... Similar to a claim I heard that Craig Samson had discussions with us (he allegedly asked Mr McCall for a guarantee he would still be manager which Mr McCall wouldn't, when in fact he hadn't spoke to anybody at the club which I've had confirmed by the player himself) I'd wager Lee Miller wasn't directly involved in speaking to anybody at the club either. Some of the chat this close season has been diabolical, a source we've never had reason to disbelieve previously was even misled a few weeks back that Higdon had resigned and that was prior to the manager being interviewed at the Blades and Henrik leaving for pastures new. Personally happy with how the club has gone about their business so far with more to come in hope rather than expectation.

Paul Lambert - A Free-Transfer Great?
Onthefringes replied to Lenin the Parakeet's topic in Club Chat
Lambert was a sh*t Jamie Dolan Oor Jamie had mastered the art of the holding midfielder long before Lambert made it fashionable... -
Having seen her at many under 20's games in his last season... he's his maw's double! A sniper wouldn't take her oot!

Whatever. Stop stalking me.

I know, hence, he responded with 'This'. Wind your neck in...

You'll not get in the glee club with Well Well with an outlook like that
-
Eh? Do us a favour and leave out the 'stand by me' speech. Nobody is denying the club hasn't performed, but, as has been said before, blind positivety doesn't paper over the cracks. Hence, the Glee Club reference. Been a long time since I've felt the need to criticise the club as I'm fully understanding of we are where we are, but, more than one has stated reservation as to how the funds raised are appropriated. This being the main point of steelboys' posts, perhaps if you could rationalise your posts instead of deflecting by telling us how to be a better fan and how everything in the garden is rosy the better the debate no?
-
The Glee Club is alive and well!
-
Waitress from The Moorings where he was staying I'm sure.

Hark at you! Failing to see the holes in steelboys' argument that you can Don't let the prejudice get in the way of the glee club eh? As for the reference to a Craig Whyte character? Folly. Understanding we are where we are as a club and appreciative of the effort by others to maintain our standing, but, doubt you'll be able to defend the indefensible here. As I've highlighted... The Society have two board members? Aye, and one in particular appears to be a 'stooge'. Money invested in the club? So we as members will see a return on said investment? Not exactly how I seen my gift being utilised, perhaps the Society will liaise with their membership instead of heralding their various lines of communication that do little communicating?

Didn't complete his studies and was heading home post match nearer the end of the season for examinations was the chat.
-
Cat out the bag, Higdon wasn't impressed and he's not isolated...
-
Well, that was the season that was! Some top memories and the nipper features in a few pics too... First time I've caught the East/South Stand sing song - memorable stuff. All the best with next season, support as and when required form our section.

Can they? Not across the board. Definitely not life changing sums and in some cases offering less...
-
Hard to argue with the last 3 posts...

There you have it... Alarm bells ringing for me

Really? Thank the lord 'oor James' arrived and saved the day then... Feel it would be a poor addition, I've seen milk turn quicker than him.
-
Good to see the national team aren't for shoe-horning another right back into a left back slot. All the best too him. Still stunned Stephen McMillan was in a poll for greatest ever left back...

Sounds as if somebody wishes he had slummed it with rest of the plebs and not paid the inflated charter charge set by the club... Stayed at the Hilton myself even the Israeli president and his entourage were staying there whilst visiting the Greeks in parliament at Syntagma. As has been mentioned, the city is paying the price of austerity. Was an attempt made to venture that little bit further into the downtown city centre rather than the confines of the clubs' chosen residence or an attempt at a Scottish bar? Taxis were as inexpensive as you find in most of mainland Europe... Plenty of fun to be had, choice of restaurants offering local produce, ethnic cuisine and bar prices that were often less, but, no more than back home. Just had to embrace it. Sitting amongst many friends and some family with the backdrop of the monuments of the Acropolis and Temple of Zeus illuminated in the night sky was the stuff of legend and a memory I'll likely never forget. Yes, the facilities in what was the centre of the sporting empire in 2004 left a lot to be desired, did anybody expect the authorities to react any differently? All part of the adventure I'm afraid. Only downside for me was the usual beauts clad in tartan. Seriously? 40 odd degree heat and done up like that - would have been better getting wrapped in bacofoil.

To be fair, it was the nicest tasting beer the whole time I was in France. Had a ball right enough, if the same support had made it to Bucharest it would have made for an interesting trip... Not quite getting the dislike of Athens by some, plenty I know who were there put it up with their best trips - another memorable one for me.

Family History quote 131: Alex McLeish was jockeying his mother when she was head of sports North Lanarkshire or its equivalent. No need for allegedly either
