  1. Take Clarky in a heart beat, shame he's featured for 2 clubs this season already no?
  2. Especially when he said 'I'd rather play for Kelly's Bar than Aberdeen'...
  3. C'mon fella, the opening poster is complimenting those involved. Understanding your lot not wanting to be labellled, 'the choir' has referred to those who've congregated and attempted to create an atmosphere long before I was a twinkle in my maws eye and likely to be same long after... I'll say - you've been missed. Impressed by the efforts, time to get back in the game! A topical one given current home form... Why not start tonight when we go a goal up as Bolton Wanderers fans did on Saturday. To the tune of 'He's only on loan' (they've banned the real title) they sang, 'We're winning at home, we're winning at home, you must be really shit, we're wiining at home'. Had the mickey mousers going at any rate.
  4. Big Stall's post? Over to you in the choir... Let's be having you!
  5. What happens? Erm, he'll be sore will he not?
  6. Don't want to piss on anybody's parade... Has he not played for 2 clubs already this season? Fingers burned before I recall.
  7. Why the 'for fuck sake?' Didn't and most certainly don't condone any of the actions towards him, but, is he above the law likes? Big lad that he is, doubt he'd attempt similar with no support.
  8. Easy to be a big man with the stewards and police with him though...
  9. Ryan Stevenson? Limping fuck! I'm off up the road to take it out on her...
  10. Honestly? That chat is fuckin' diabolical. I'm as annoyed at the lack of a plan B as the next, but, time running out? Time running out on this board and half the morons who post. They worked harder than us today. That's the base line for next week. Well, that and Jamie Murphy getting some heart.

    Strikers

Really? Your command of the how the game is played astonishes. Bordering on clueless!
  12. No news yet? I'd have thought the offices would be about shut...
  13. For those travelling... Russell Road is closed at the railway bridge for the ongoing tram works. Where the buses park and much parking normally available may find egress time consuming as you require to return towards Gorgie/Dalry Roads. Unsure if affects those on foot heading from Haymarket using Corstophine Road.
  14. On a charity thread... Yes. Point taken from the opening poster. I'd be obliged if a moderator would move to perhaps the match or 'ins and outs' threads and we can wax lyrical on your defence of the indefenceable.
  15. They'll have plenty of wear left in them seeing as he's a workshy lazy bastard.
  16. Again, not fooled by this notion of total football peddled by Danny Lennon or Kenny Shiels and chums in the weegie media. Big deal! They've cottoned on to the ideal not to kick the ball as hard and as high and as long as you can. Welcome to the 21st century... Attacking football is about creation of goals, not the cancelling out of the opposition which they hold up as a blue print that all good footballing sides should follow. Myth. St Mirren only better East Stirling in the goalscoring stakes! Early goal to settle the nerves and it's all over bar the shouting.
  17. Born in Motherwell, a spell in Netherton, high school and early work years in Overtown with a return to Motherwell when I flew the nest. Move to Upper New Stevenston, christened as such when my old man threatened to write me out of his will for moving to Carfin! So up where the whisky bond once stood and the wee man remains in an ML1 postcode.

    Aberdeen

Jennings by a country mile and then some!
  19. Felt it was along similar lines as most games I've been to this season. Controlling proceedings though failing to kill the opposition off. Josh Watt a favourite today, mesmerising at times.
  20. You must love skelfs, the amount of fences you sit on...
  21. Nothing to do with the kid being on a caution and being combatitive as the team were in that late spell? Good management and not a reflection on how you percieved his performance as poor? Hell, I feel he could have proved that telling pass required when Kilmarnock set-up to cancel us out (that's right, not fooled by what's peddled in the media 'this forward style' of them and St Midden is a work of fallacy) in both games and perhaps against Celtic.
  22. Without a word of a lie, performance of the day was from Stephen Craigan. Changing hair colour like he'd done today took some magic.
  23. Spoiled as a contest after 10 minutes. A tangle of the legs, a red card by the letter of the law. Discipline went a little, card happy ref nullified the Motherwell midfield for them. Still the better team, a brave effort clawing their way back twice. Creators of their own downfall with mistakes allowing Accies an unlikely win. After witnessing the worst ever onside decision by a linesman in my life, I'd have loved to have seen a game of even numbers...
  24. Been at more than a few this season and I think it's the first time I've seen him play... The system was different on Friday from the norm - perhaps due to personnel availability, but, similar to that of the first team with the midfield challenged to support the lone striker. This kid definitely looked the part.
