Sorry pal, our, ahem, pitch is not laid from turf either. Those involved claimed the ideal of sowing from seed would improve 'root zone'. Club can deflect as much as they like behind the scenes, poor groundsmanship is the cause. Again.

BOBFOC. Nae scruples mind, she'd still get the fiddlers elbow...

We'll be entertained by the brand of football Billy Reid tells all and sundry about... sHamilton will attempt to strangle the life out of the game as per usual, hope to sneak the first and put the shutters up. We, on the other hand, haven't registered a goal against this lot unlike every other team, so time to rectify that. We score first, 3 points staying in Motherwell. Simples.

Mfc Supporters Advisory Committee
Onthefringes replied to MFC Supporters Advisory's topic in Club Chat
Nothing cryptic at all. Leanne Dempster fielded a question from the floor about the 'bullying of the kids by stewardship at the far end of the East Stand' and a member of the newly formed committee offered dissenting voice in a claim that supported Ms Dempsters' stance. Unsure of the views held by other members of the committee, I'd wager they would share a similar outlook. Suggests to me, any approach by those involved seeking discussion with the supporters' voice would be met with disdain. No? If I was a cynic, your request to elaborate gives rise to membership of this committee? Not too sure what Mr '+1' posted for. Thirst for knowledge? Get the post count up? I'm sure he posted previous that he was in attendance too... -
Mfc Supporters Advisory Committee

And vocal enough at a recent supporters 'function' where commitee membership (fair to say views speaking on behalf of the rest?) shared the clubs' viewpoint to the alleged antics of those in the South east corner of the ground. Expect more of the same shabby treatment of customers... Death knell for the Trust if truth be told -
Better than telling the porkies that you are... As per the text I've just received from a member of our playing staff. "Ask that wellfan mong how he fucking knows about what happened with Gannon. It certainly wasn't asking players, I'm sure if he actually heard Las or Crags view on Gannon then he'd fucking shut up. Rather than make up stuff to sound as if he knows what's happening." We await with interest

Same way the Pro-Gannon gang have told themselves the players are to blame for him not being here any longer, and that Craigan and his gang got him the boot. Which is absolute bollocks. Said with a straight face and Craigan's jazz funk dribbling down yer chin...

Oi! Nunn... Starting to think you are what's known in the business as a 'downy'. Shed any light?

And failure to balance the books helps us how? Likely used to plug holes (not literally) in previous defecit and keep wheels in motion to see this season out no? Understanding of squad strength with regards those no longer employed, information wasn't to expect much movement and it's proved same. It's easy to trot our five near misses in the market... Bode well for the future? Time will tell. Don't think he or the darkie has the minerals.

Sure? His close family have said otherwise...

Bus to Stranrear... only you m'lad

Watch! Yer nose will get bigger telling porkies like that...

Brandon Bar .....before The Game
Onthefringes replied to walking down the Fir Park's topic in Club Chat
Don't believe the hype, especially of that lot. Seeing as a few of them have their jaws wired up and feasting on soup for the next six weeks... I'd wager if you asked 10 from either side their version of events, you would get 20 differing reports. The CCTV footage could be of some interest -
Kid can play a bit. Mowbray wants him at Middlesbrough according to family I've just spoken to down there. At least we are in the mix...

Most probably, though, why is comparison with others held up as some sort of virtue by many on here? Our budget has been greatly reduced by installation and remedial works year on year, some inherent problems I grant you, incompetency cannot be excused. It could well be the next thing the Shettleston Harriers have a complaint about, at least our referee brethren will get a break. Will our club? Back pages again is no consolation when the club are pilloried as much as on here and the media pressure league administrators to impose what we can ill afford. Who fed you that line? When the formation isn't of the strength required, by your reckoning, it's still best practice to use heavy plant machinery? I seriously wish I'd stuck in at school now, wouldn't have spent as much time studying varying theories in regards earthworks, formation treatments and the like. When the specialist advice and expertise offered to our club at a premium goes unheeded...

Sums it up for me, don't think it was just coincidence with Jones introduction that Hammell turned in a much improved performance. I'm sure a few who know me will be stunned I posted that after the suicidal chat of last week...
-
Sorry, the effect of undersoil heating gives lie to a 'growth season'. Hence, the need to apply feeder to the pitch or in the clubs' case, reason enough to run heavy plant machinery on the playing surface when taking a little longer to complete the task manually would suffice. As has been mentioned, the pitch looks bad but doesn't seem to play that badly. Heralded by current groundstaff, the introduction of fibre sand years after availability on the market, is performing. Though, the divot and sandstorm created in front of the East Stand post Hutchisons' early challenge is a sign of things to come as the temperature rises heading for spring... Eh? Did the SPL employ the current groundstaff likes?

Did sHamilton not have a similar situation last year or the season before and nothing found to be amiss?
-
You would...
