I must have missed that bit ...... We need to vary our tactics, at the moment: Randolph throws it to Hammell who moves forward, stops, the ball is then passed to the centre backs who then pass to Hateley who then passes it to Humphrey by which time the opposition has moved up onto him. If they got the ball to him quicker he might have some space to start his run.
-
The day he signed George Adams phoned Sportsound on Radio Scotland and stated that he wasn't being offered anymore money than at Motherwell but a longer deal.
-
Or we could vary it depending on who we are playing? Something like "Hey, McCloud get off of my ewe" by The Rolling Stones when we play Aberdeen in a couple of weeks.
-
Changes are at an early stage? Is that meant to be some kind of joke? Why is the person not just told to change the music he plays? It's not rocket science!!!! And while you're having these discussions can you also point out that we don't go to be deafened by him either. Again not rocket science - just the ability to turn down the volume (if it's any help if the volume button is numeric the lower the number the quieter it is!)

I thought the game cried out for Ross Forbes to play. We needed someone in the middle who would have closed down Steve Davis. Davies controlled the midfield again (he seems to do that against us every time) and we failed to close him down. Also whilst I enjoy watching a passing game and keeping possession is important, it only works where the passes offer something, a lot of the passes were rushed and ended up putting another player under greater pressure.
-
I have no problem with the passing game, it looks good and frustrates opponents and can force them into making a mistake. However there were times yesterday that we tried a stupid pass rather than the simple ball.
-
I had hoped the announcer might have used the close season to learn how to use the volume control, but that is obviously beyond all at MFC!! I go to football to watch the game not to be deafened by the tannoy. Turn it down a bit.
-
For them to win would they not have to effectively admit there was a Contract in place between them and MFC, and in doing so would have meant that they broke this by moving to Aberdeen? Therefore Aberdeen would have been liable to pay compensation and possibly face action by the SPL.
-
What was the announcer playing at today - trying to deafen everyone? That was ridiculous!!!
-
Forbes gets caught in possession because no-one has moved into space to take get the ball and rather than give a hospital pass he takes the hit and gets the pelters for it.
-
The replay is on the 29 March which is same night Northern Ireland v Slovenia. Is Craigan suspended for that game or we prepared to play without him, which not too keen on!
-
I think Craigan will be there next year ....... as Assistant Manager....
-
I would be interested in one as well.
-
So it's a compound facture of the wrist then?
-
Why doesn't JB and the rest of the Directors etc instead of going into the Directors' Box boycott it and just sit in the Stand with the rest of the fans? If he is so disgusted by their actions why would he want to accept their hospitality?
-
I thought he had a really good game last night. Does the unglamorous work that doesn't always get recognised.
-
I see they won the first leg of the last round at home 5 - 3, which shows they can be scored against and fact we scored on both away legs is good news. Also referee at that game was Euan Norris of Scotland, so hopefully get some good information.
-
I know the Club needs money but ...... £1.10 for a can of Coke in the Cooper Suite! That's out of order.
-
A sponser is what was on the Official Site for Jaxx.com all last season .....

Found this on Pie and Bovril ..... if true another away opening fixture to the newly promoted team ... "The full set of new SPL fixtures will be released in 2 weeks time, however the opening day fixtures have been sent off to the ESPN and Sky well in advance. (so they can choose which matches to broadcast live), so here are the opening SPL fixtures of season 2010/11, I got this information from a friend who works at Sky. Dundee United v Kilmarnock Hamilton Academical v Celtic Heart of Midlothian v Aberdeen Inverness CT v Motherwell Rangers v Hibernian St Mirren v St Johnstone"

With the way the ball bounces as it is, what will it be like if the ground is full of elastic bands!!
-
I was wondering that as well. You used to get told the winners on the weekly newsletter, but the newsletter seems to have stopped being sent as well.
-
It's not just credit cards - the girl in the ticket office told me thay have been told to charge the 2.5% on ALL cards, even though the renewal notice only specifically mentions credit cards. First time have had to use a cheque in ages.
-
Question is: Is this one of the 2 big stories supposedly to be announced this week?

Sutton for me. The amount of running and tracking back and link play was tremendous.
