  1. Defensively we're a shambles and until the manager has the time to make the necessary changes and get some new faces in were not going to make any steps forward,I'll be glad when this season is done and we can part ways with several players that aren't good enough.
  2. Good points grizzly, hanley and ralston can't get near there club sides but yet clarke sees them as the answer for a two legged tie, there's no way either would be sharp enough for the demands.not even being biased towards max johnstone but he should have been involved,he had the balls to make the move abroad and further his career and has impressed in doing so but yet we stick with ralston who seems the type that will happily sit on his arse and not play as long as he's doing it at his beloved celtic.
  3. Aye russell was a quality player as well,my first ever visit to celtic park was the game where he took the piss out a couple of there defenders then blasted the ball high into the net in the last minute,it was definitely a goal befitting his talent.
  4. For me the best bit of business the club has ever done,it was a pleasure watching davie,he was an absolute genius.
  5. I didn't have the best view of it at the time but in the second half it looked like the st mirren player tried to push gordon towards balacome who was rushing out and it could have been disastrous had the collided, funnily enough it was there player that ended up taking the whack instead.
  6. Robinson talking bollocks as always I see.
  7. 2-0 down and a lack of options up by front,we've done well to get a point out of that, good on slattery stepping up and getting us something from the game.
  8. Brave on the ball, played with energy and we had a great shape about us when we didn't have possession,it's early days but the differences already are pretty noticeable.
  9. Looking at the team,we need to be getting bodies forward when possible,an extra midfielder should hopefully mean the wing backs have plenty of freedom to push forward also.
  10. The boy cameron has bossed our midfield a couple of times this season already, hopefully it's lennons time to control the game tonight.
  11. As we seen on saturday it's very easy to lose a game 1-0,we need to start cutting out the stupid goals we're conceding to give us half a chance for the rest of the season and allow us to fall on the right side of they tight games.if we can tighten up at the back and stama can stay fit this time then we should do enough not to be involved in a relegation battle.tomorrow is huge though no doubt about it.
  12. We really need a result to stop the rot and get a bit of feel good factor going.the manager is just in the door and can only influence so much in a short space of time, the players need to get there act together and quick.
  13. When you look through the season to this point, how many players actually look comfortable playing with the guy beside them, none would be my answer.we look like a gang of misfits anytime we take to the pitch that has been poorly coached to the point where none of the basics are on show.we now find ourselves with a number of players out of contract at the end of the season, some short terms signings and loans that were relying on to make the desired effort to keep us away from the bottom spots in the league.
  14. We've amassed a squad made up mainly of guff.to be in the middle of february and still not have one area of them team functioning as a unit is ridiculous,we really a lift from the new manager or we will be in serious bother.
