  1. The fact that a bang average player like James forrest is the most decorated player is celtics history says it all,if miller really wants to reach his potential and get the very most out the talent he's got then he shouldn't even entertain for a second going there.turnbull took the lazy option and is paying for it now,no good can come of playing against the same crap teams 4 times a season.miller is good enough to go abroad and succeed and be the a mainstay at international level for over the next decade, celtic or rangers shouldn't even be on his radar.
  2. Mind there was talk of us merging with airdrie when boyle first came in and the fans were going off there head about that, like you said I've never met a motherwell fan that has wanted to merge with any other club.ive also never known a Motherwell fan that thinks we're a tinpot entity either that's a smaller club than morton and Dunfermline, mjc is clearly making stuff up cause there isn't any games the now where he can predict we're going to lose every time.
  3. I couldn't agree more, the scottish game is pish cause there's far too many managers that play the same way and sign the same old guff players that float between premier league clubs, kettlewell is a prime example, shit manager that's filling his Kilmarnock squad with rejects from around the league.lets be honest McInnes to hearts, kettlewell to Killie and Pressley to dundee is grim.the safe pair and of hands patter is another way of saying there a shit manager.no manager needs to have experience of the scottish league to go and get results against the likes of livingston and dundee.im all for us breaking the mould again and going with a foreign manager, who knows how it will work out for us but i for one would have been on a downer before the season started if we had appointed one of the usual suspects in the scottish game.
  4. Shankland is staying at hearts now and would be well out of our price range even when miller is sold.our forward line needs serious attention though, last night only highlighted the problems that we seen the whole of last season.
  5. Fuck sake, will we ever catch a break on the injury front.
  6. The whole needing knowledge of the scottish game is such backwards thinking, imagine we had appointed someone like Pressley,it's guys like that and the kettlewells that will stop any kind of improvement in this country as long as there employed.we play in a league where 10 teams are separated by very little and any manager coming into it can be reasonably successful if they have half a brain in there head.
  7. To be fair there isn't one player that Killie have signed that I would take for us,livingston are another that are getting there signings done early and again I wouldn't have taking any of them for us.ive no idea about fadinger but I think mcghee will be a good signing for us and for me is probably the best of the lot that have swapped between premier league clubs.
  8. St mirren and Killie will also be relying on the usual frees and loans, killies signings have been poor so far and liam donnolly going to st mirren isn't a great signing for them either.
  9. I wonder if we were ever in talks with sylla but a 3 year deal for a guy that will be 32 this year,if there was any interest I'm glad we didn't pursue it.
  10. Let's hope the new gaffer doesn't like a drink 😂
  11. The way he's been playing slattery would be the first midfielder in the team.
  12. Good too see st mirren keeping up there quota of signing ex well players, this time it's liam donnolly.
  13. I hope his wedding cake gives him a dose of the shits.
  14. I would rather both had left, odonnell doesn't have the legs to play full back nowadays so we have shuffled him inside where he's an accident waiting to happen at centre half.mcginn has been a very solid player for us but it's asking a lot for him to come back in after missing nearly the whole of last season.were going to need back ups next season and that's the role they should be.
