  1. Lennons form has definitely dropped off since coming back from injury, between that and being a young player in his first full season,it was almost inevitable that he would dip at some point this season.kettlewell making him captain was mental that just added more unnecessary pressure on him.hes a class act though and it will be interesting too see what happens with him over the summer.
  2. I had to read my post back 😂,i definitely put we aren't in any danger of finishing in the play off spot and because of that I would give gordon the rest of the season off.like you grizzly I think we will be fine this season.
  3. That only highlights just how bad our forwards are rather than watt doing anything that's worth keeping him.
  4. Were in no danger of finishing in the play off spot now so we would be as well giving gordon the rest of the season off to recover from the concussion, there's no point in risking him in games that will mean very little to us.
  5. Watt hasn't done enough to warrant a permanent deal.
  6. Aye without having any decent wide players that rules out going with a traditional 4-4-2,I would like to see us try 4 at the back though with a diamond in midfield which is probably the best we could go with.i really hope we have been working on something different since the hearts game as even with all the problems st johnstone have in defence,we will play right into there hands if we continue how we have been of late.
  7. Our signing policy has been all over the place this season, wasting limited funds on the likes of callaghan and tavares is pretty gutting.everytime we got an injury there was a replacement brought in,we have piled shite on top of shite all season.i could well be wrong but it looks like we have went daft with the bair money and going to have nothing to show for it.
  8. Moult was class for us but we shouldn't be looking to sign anyone that can only stay fit half the time.our squad this season has been a shambles and a big part of that has been signing known crocks and players with fitness issues.moult and gallacher are probably better than most of what we have but for me that just highlights how poor our recruitment has been of late.
  9. I agree with you there weeyin,I said on the hearts thread that's is unbelievable just how many players we have that aren't comfortable in possession.eveything seemed rushed and over hit against hearts, hopefully we atleast slow it down a bit for this game and pick the right pass every now and again.
  10. By all accounts they have a bit of an injury crisis in defence but no matter who they play the fear for me is we still play right into there hands by hitting aimless high balls.we need the first goal in this game as if its 0-0 with 15 minutes to go,I think we will be the team that panics.

I've got no confidence either, there fighting for there lives while we're absolutely terrible and going through the motions.i fully expect us to play into there hands and most likely lose this game.
  12. the two big centre halves st johnstone have were excellent against celtic, they won every header and kicked it away at every opportunity.i just hope we're going to use the break before this game to come up with a plan that doesn't involve booting it up the park as soon as we get possession as that definitely won't work here,if we play right into there hands we will lose this game.

Agreed but from what we've seen in the last 3 games,we're hardly going about things with any urgency.

I think with the amount of games left and the other teams doing damage to each other we should just be about ok but it would be nice if we beat st johnstone to settle any nerves.the concerning thing is we have went through the motions in the last 3 games and maybe the players are already on holiday mode.i agree with what weeyin just said above, catching hearts should be our goal rather than looking over our shoulder, the extra prize money would come in handy for the obvious rebuild that's coming in the summer.
  15. I wouldnt have been totally against mcginn being kept on but with odonnell, balmer and koutroumbis signed for next season,we can't be using anymore of our limited funds to keep anymore of our current defenders on.we need big changes in defence and there more we keep the less chance there is for any improvement next season.
