u could be right mate about the rugby putting off a few hearts fans coming through but i dont think it wouldve made any real difference to the attendance cause there support earlier in the season was pretty poor to.its the sign of the times cause hearts and aberdeen havny brought a big support to fir park for a while now
-
spot on mate i know of 6 well fans that used to be regulars but now spend there saturdays in the house and its all down to the cost.when weve been on a decent run of form in the past you would get a few neautrals and floating fans that would turn up but the cost of football now is at a level where no matter how well were doing attendances arent going to increase.the club is going to need to bite the bullet and drop prices cause if were still paying the same prices next season then more folk will be driven away.we need to get the next generation of fans through the gates and if that means letting under 14s in for nothing then so be it

"mark mcghee is a paedophile" whatever happened to that catchy number
-
the whole thing was done half arsed and a total inconvenience if there that worried about fans bringing stuff into the stadium that they shouldny have then why just search random people.i seen 2 old guys probably in there late 60s get searched off some wee fud thinking hes the business cause hes wearin a security jacket
-
its just another example of folk wearing a security jacket thinking there the ticket when there just a bunch of aresholes.i seen 2 old guys in front of me get searched needless to say both were raging about it 1 of them said hell no be back if that keeps up.some of the stewards at fir park used to be alright but this new lot are a joke they stood back and allowed rangers fans to stand for the whole game and sing there usual pish but they were like flies round shite to stop aberdeen and dundee utd fans putting a flag out across empty seats.so much for the fans being the life blood of the game when they get treated like shite time and time again
-
jennings again for me thats 3 out the last 4 games ive voted for him.hes showed wit he can do since hes had a run in the team and got match fit lets hope we get him on a new contract real soon
-
ffs delboy you nearly ruined my weekend there .is there any inspection planned for the pitch in the mornin or is the game definately on
-
it says that extensive work is being done on the pitch this week does anybody know wits gettin done
-
the fact he mentions a couple of times theyve allowed saturdays game to go ahead is a bit worryin.saturday could be the final straw and we might be forced to play elsewhere its no lookin good
-
driving a tractor over the pitch seems madness and it mustve done some damage surely
-
does anybody think we shouldve changed our groundstaff when the pitch got done over the summer or would it no have made any difference
-
i had to laugh when some killie fuckwit on p&b says were the worst football playin team in the league
-
havin seen the highlights the night hateley was lucky no to be badly injured when his foot went down a hole and he lew into the wall beside the dugouts.i doubt well escape a fine this time and to be honest we deserve it
-
it was a really poor tackle fae miller plus the fact that he went into the challenge at pace and if he caught o'brien more fully it easily couldve been a broken leg.the east stand linesman didnt have a clue wit decision to give at times i could count 3 or 4 times in the second half when he didny know to give a corner or a goal kick.i was sitting right in line when murphy went down and it was a definate penalty the linesman shouldve helped out the referee out by putting his flag up cause he had the best position to see it
-
you gotta feel sorry for him cause its gonna be a season wasted due to injury.is he out of contract at the end of the season cause it would be a shame if his injury problems meant he didny get a new deal with us
-
great 3 points and another clean sheet happy days .really chuffed for murphy getting the goal he put in another great shift hes starting to resemble clarkson the way he plays with his work rate and quick feet.it was hard to tell at the time but having watched the game on alba it was great play by sutton to hold off the defender and lay it off for murphy.the ref and the east stand linesman were totally out the depth to many occasions they just looked at each other as if neither had a clue what decision to make
-
wit are the club doing even replying to this clown.you must be a really sad c**t to send emails about players gettin abuse .i wonder how many of them got thrown out of fir park on wednesday for the shite they sing about fuck all i bet.this is just another reason to hate that lot
-
ruddy is the best keeper ive seen play for us for a big guy hes got great reflexes and everytime the balls in the air you feel confident that hell get it due to his size and build.this season with us will determine his everton future cause i dont think hell be loaned out again hell either be in davie moyes plans or theyll sell him on.sadly i think weve got no chance of keeping on a permanent basis i think hell end up playing in the championship
-
aye i seen her when i was walkin round the the train station.as you say mate she was fantastic seeing a arse like that more than made up for the shite game
-
well appoint old mcdonald and the cast of emmerdale farm as there new dream team of groundstaff would be nice
-
get yourself to the game daza you know it makes sense
-
id go with the same team that played on wednesday no reason to change it.accies dont have much pace about them especially at the back so bringing on humphrey and murphy later in the game could do the some damage.you would think celtic will beat aberdeen so a win for us would put us further clear in 5th and closer to united in 4th depending on how there result goes.lets keep our good run going and hopefully there is plenty of dossers there to get behind the team
-
according to the daily record were trying to sign calum reidford ex rangers keeper whos now at clyde
-
it couldve been any of them to be fair but jennings gets my vote
-
oustanding performance all round proud of the team tonight but as usual a dodgy decision goes against us if that had happened up the other end you can be sure rangers wouldve got the goal.this result is harder to take than the draw earlier in the season even though we missed a late penalty that day.we passed the ball really well all game and all the lads put in a great shift i have to say i was impressed with jennings again tonight and hateleys free kick was a peach heres hoping we can get them tied up on new contracts as soon as.
