  1. That was a real crunch game and we delivered, biggest 3 points of the season so far.
  2. A win here would be massive for us and with st johnstone at tynecastle,we could really drag them into the mix if results go our way.
  3. I've nothing against shields,he always tried his best but just isn't good enough,I hope he does really well between now and the end of the season for himself and also the better he does the chances are someone will take him off our hands in the summer.we are most likely in for a squad overall in the summer and we don't need someone coming back that has struggled already,it will suit both sides to part ways.
  4. Spot on,you can never judge any performance on that god awful pitch, you would get more of an even bounce of the ball playing on a carpark.a point away from home on that surface,I'll take that everytime.
  5. Great to see us mugging them for a change, any result that can be had on that amateurish pitch is a good one, that should keep the feel good factor going so onto the next.
  6. I don't get the whole cheap talk, whoever the new manager is will be getting the salary as the previous managers,it's not like we will be saving any by which manager we appoint.we have had to pay off two this season so we're hardly doing things on the cheap.
  7. A bit of organisation and effort can go a long way in this league and we saw that today, outstanding from us today to a man.
  8. I didn't want kettlewell even getting it to the end of the season but I've changed my mind now.im not getting carried away with the two wins, even though it helps but he's shown a willingness to change things tactically and there's a fighting spirit on the park, bringing someone else in now might disrupt things and set us back,we've got it in our hands,we should be looking to keep it simple and ticking over until the end of the season and I think kettlewell will provide that, what happens in the summer will take care of itself.
  9. Exactly right,we have made it far to easy for teams all season by doing the same thing game after game,it's good to see some tactics employed to actually stop the opposition and give us a fighting chance.
  10. Exactly,Holloway has disaster written all over it,I hope we stay well clear.
  11. Holloway gives me the fear,he had a decent period earlier in his career but he strikes me as somebody that the modern game has moved on from, that article from his time at grimsby doesn't make for great reading,if he didn't want to move there what chance would we have of him moving permanently up here.mccann looks like the type of appointment we would make.
  12. So that's what a win feels like 😀
  13. Exactly my thoughts on wright, there's no way we should be going for someone that failed in his last role that was identical to the task that he faces with us.im not overly enthused with the names being linked so far but wright would be at the bottom of the pile for me.
  14. The clubs future is on the line,we cant appoint wright who failed in his last relegation battle, that should be a massive red flag for the folk on the board that think wright would be a good idea.giving where we are in the table our options will be limited but the thought of appointing the likes of wright or mcpake as our saviour is pretty depressing.
  15. I was reading that there,he's the man the board want according to the sun, let's hope it's shite as he couldn't save kilmarnock when they found themselves in a similar position to us then left them struggling in the championship, there would be no reason to appoint him.
  16. Fair play to kettlewell for saying what we're all thinking, let's hope we see a reaction against st mirren.
  17. Surely it's just paper and talk and we wouldn't actually be interested in mcpake, the thought of paying compensation for him would be insane.
  18. Ex Brazil international ze maria has applied according to the record.
  19. I couldn't have put it any better myself.
  20. Spot on,it's something like 8 wins in 43 games, weve just went out the cup without a whimper to a lower league team and we're now looking for a 3rd manager of the season, that's a truly atrocious set of circumstances and the players need to take there share of the blame for the mess were in,the sooner the majority of them are gone to never darken our door again the better.
  21. Whatever the factors are,it would suggest they have been going on for a while,so it begs the question why give hammell the whole of january to bring players in when it's clear to most of us that he should have been sacked weeks ago.
  22. Spot on,the recruitment has been dire over the last couple of years especially and all the while our expenditure has gone up,we really have wasted some amount of money on absolute dross.it looks like we have took our eye off the ball and don't really have much of a plan when it comes to recruitment, take Josh morris for example,a 31 year old lower league player with no resale value should not be here on a 2 year contract.the whole club is needing a reset with recruitment process high on the list.
  23. Exactly, hughes was decent enough earlier in his career but the game has moved on from the likes of him,he's just another one of the hangers on involved in the scottish game hoping that somebody gives them a job.
  24. To have believe there needs to be some sort of positive that we can cling to that things might turn in our favour but theres not one aspect of our team that gives me hope, stick with hammell and we're going down.
