He's a decent finisher but didnt have the all round game that was required,the fact that the likes of him,bowman and frear would get a game for us highlights how bad our options are right now.

We heard last week how we should have defended better and now maguire has said we should have taking a few of our chances today,normally I would say cut out the should have patter and start getting it done but i really don't think this team has it in them.

Yet another game we have falling on the wrong side of the result to a poor side that didn't have to do anything to win the game,how many times have we seen that this season,it's like watching the same game every week.

That's what I've been suggesting for a few weeks now,an extra man in midfield and lose a striker,for having a fairly large squad by our standards our options really are shite,were constantly relying on the same guys no matter what formation we could go with,it's simply not good enough.

Midfield has been a real issue all season,o'hara has none of the attributes to play in there,either get him back to centre half or leave him out,polworth has been poor,he should be looking to dictate games more often than he does but he seems to be another one that's just watching the games pass him by the now,add in the fact that we have zero quality in the wide areas our midfield really is poor,campbell must really be thinking to himself what the fuck am I playing with here.

I'm not defending robbo here but I'm sick to the back teeth with a lot of our players,watching the same shitey defending every week and guys that just aren't interested,what the fuck did they do during the half time break,it's like that every fucking week,were the team daydreaming and the opposition are bang at it,professionals some of them couldn't spell football,gubbed at home off an average hibs side,fucking joke.

I would be tempted to go with an extra man in midfield for this at the expense of a striker.campbell,maguire and crawford with polworth playing behind watt and lang,i like polworth but he needs to start having more of an influence in these types of games,last week he was totally anonymous,o'hara back to defence and mcginley in and no sign of lamie will do for me.

I was expecting both clubs to get a slap on the wrist or a small fine at worst,getting the 6 points is a great outcome for us and hopefully gives us a real lift going into saturdays game.
