Like I said after the ross county,we clearly had stama watched before we signed him,we then pay a decent fee and then have no clue what we're doing with him,the managers use of the player has been scandalous.
-
The tactics are beyond negative,he sets us up not to lose and hope we can nick a win in a tight game then when it goes wrong the answer is to throw on another forward player and yet still play the same way.i think kettlewell has done a good job for us but it really looks like he's not learning from previous mistakes, today was pretty much like last week all over again and we see the same end result.to have went with such a negative line up against a team who's manager was on the verge of the sack was a disgrace.
-
Absolutely pitiful,we have several poor options up front, mainly all the same type of player and the same goes for the midfield,to be over reliant on an 18 year old just isn't on no matter how good he is.we are now quickly becoming poor defensively after it looking like that was an area we had improved on.5 defenders plus halliday and davor at home against a side that has struggled all season was a joke.
-
For as poor as hibs have been,we will play right into there hands if we play the long ball game upto one isolated striker, they have conceded 7 goals in there last two games, there's no excuse for a negative approach from us in this a game.
-
I hope his birthday cake gave him a dose of the shits
-
Kettlewell needs to get the team selection right for this one.we need to be positive and attack minded from the off,if we do that then there's every chance we will win but for as shit as hibs are,if it's a dour game that's 0-0 with 15 minutes to go,I'll definitely have the fear.

I know it doesn't tell the whole story but the clips of stama when he signed showed he's very much a penalty box striker,he scored a number of goals for his previous club from crosses into the box but yet we're playing him to run about doing the donkey work up against big centre half's,we have obviously scouted him, looked at various video clips and used all that data analysis but like you say we're hanging him out to dry, considering we paid a pretty good fee by our standards to sign him, questions should be asked of how he's being used.look at his goal at easter road,it was a well worked move into the box and he scores.we really do seem to make things more complicated at times than it needs to be.
-
We're always going to be toothless unfortunately, the manager has brought in all these forward options but seems to be clueless in how to use them, you never quite know from week to week who is going to be playing up front for us,by this stage of the season we should have had a favoured two that were being allowed to strike up a partnership,we look as disjointed now up front as we did at the start of the season.
-
Fair play to you mate for making the journey, safe travels to you and the rest of our fans on the roads today.
-
After his performances at the euros, ralston should never have been selected again.hes a total bombscare that's never going to improve beyond that.max Johnstone took the step to move abroad and improve as a player and it should be rewarded but yet we have selected a dumpling that will be happy sitting on the bench at his beloved celtic every week.
-
Exactly, the manager has to find a better way of using him.from the clips of him when he signed he looks like a penalty box striker, his goal at easter road is how we should be using him more often,he showed decent movement and produced a good finish that day when he was allowed to be effect in the box.i think our forward line will continue to struggle until kettlewell changes our style a bit.ideally we can keep picking up points like we have been and get to january and sign someone that will finally be able to link the midfield to attack and then allow miller to play as a 6 and build the play from deep,I think if we have a decent attacking midfielder that miller can pass too that would go a long way to us having more possession in games like today.
-
The second half we looked like a wee boys team that was playing on a big pitch for the first time, with the only tactic of blootering the ball as far away from our own goal as we could,to have just been happy to surrender possession and hope we got through the second half was a joke,we should have been right out looking for the second goal,as hampden would have emptied and it would have been game over if we did.weve all seen us lose to every kind of opposition over the years so were used to defeats but every so often a game comes along that's hard to take especially when we have fucked it for ourselves and today was one of those times.to have put a second half performance in like that in a cup semi when leading at half time was disgraceful.
-
The opposition have sussed the long throw already.
-
Aye watt should have came on,at the very least he knows how to buy a foul and that would have been enough to break the play up and get us up the park,we would be as well sending him back to utd as soon as we can and same goes for tavares, you can see why he wasn't getting a game for a rotten Hibs team.the more games we play it's becoming clear that up front is an absolute mess,we have umpteen options but yet there isn't a single sign of what were actually trying to with them.
-
That definitely feels like a what if moment.we played right into there hands in the second half,we were absolutely garbage.
-
Thats several games in a row now against that lot where the away end is clearly over populated and it will continue to happen as long as the club and the authorities let it.if it gets to the point where there's some kind of disaster due to the overcrowding you can be sure the green bigots will play the victim, the police will play dumb and it will be our club thats left with serious questions to answer, there's only going to be one loser if this continues and it will be us.
-
Slattery would be a better option than halliday or davor, the issue is how long it will take him to get upto speed and into the first team,I'm of the thinking that if we get anything out of slattery this season it will be a bonus.
-
Aye watt should be left at tannadice during the coming week and told not to come back.
-
Our midfield gives me the utter fear, miller aside there's nothing there, there's no pace or ability to go and press the opposition,to have davor and halliday in the team at the same time is criminal,we can talk about injuries but let's be honest the likes of callaghan and paton aren't any better.the game last week showed our midfield up for what it is rather than today and it's only going to get worse the more games we play, halliday is done and davor is someone that will be playing at the likes of accies or morton before to long.
-
I get there playing cause we have nobody else but davor really is nothing more than a jersey filler,he offers absolutely nothing in and out of possession.
-
Miller aside our midfield options are dire and that goes for the ones out injured,we have enough attacking options but no real plan on what to do with them.lets hope today was nothing more than a blip as we will become very easily to play against if we don't sort some of our issues out.
-
Long ball after long ball but yet we don't have one forward that's capable of winning anything in the air.
-
Robinson at times looks like he's never played football before, there was times in the first half all he needed to do was take a touch and lay it off but he would rather dilly dally and take an age to do anything,he's needing a boot up the arse as well as a few others after that half.
