Scottish Premiership Motherwell V St Johnstone Sat 18 Mar 15:00

Samson is utter shite and the sooner hes gone the better but having said that im not sure bringing in a young keeper in our predicament is a wise move.samson has been piss poor all season and everyone could see that (well apart from mcghee)theres no way we should have found ourselves left with the choice of samson and an inexperienced keeper, and the buck stops with mcghee for that. -

that's been the story of our season, missing chances and not scoring enough while woeful defending costs us dear.we definately deserved something from this game but ultimately it's another game gone and no points to show for it. -
weir resigned over a year ago,so why is he involved in the process to find a new manager?
-
barraclough was"the outstanding candidate",mcghee was"the only man the club wanted" and now robinson is"the outstanding candidate",i think serious questions need to be asked of the folk making the decision at the club.
-
bit of a strange appointment,i thought if we were going to go with robinson it would have been to the end of the season, see where we finish and then go from there.best of luck to him but im far from convinced hes the answer in the short term never mind going forward after that.

if true, thank fuck pressley has turned us down.

it always gets said when there's an easier looking run of fixtures coming up and especially with games running out but with st johnstone, hamilton, thistle and inverness,4 of our next 5 games,3 of which are at home,we simply need to start winning theses types of games or we will be in even more trouble than we are now. -
i don't get the chat about robinson,he left for oldham and was quickly sacked within a few months,we bring him back to help out at a time when were really struggling,i can see why we did that as having a fairly experienced guy on the coaching staff between now and the end of the season cant be a bad thing.each to there own but i don't get why he should be in the running for the managers job,i wouldn't be against him staying on and working with someone else as he seems to be well thought of as a coach or number two but giving him the top job just doesn't sit well with me.

of course both parties have to agree but if were selling a player and we want a sell on clause as part of that deal thats upto us and if the buying club dont want that in the deal then they should be told to go elsewhere.sell on clauses could be vital to clubs like ours, just look at when murphy was sold to brighton and we made money then, that came at a time when we were really struggling financially and by all accounts that money was a real life saver for us.
-
what do you mean?
-
anytime we sell a player from now on we should always insist on a sell on clause as part of the deal as getting some unexpected money down the line would always be a huge bonus for us.hopefully we do have a sell on clause for marvin and he stars between now and the end of the season and we get a whack of money in the summer if hes sold.

according to todays sun lee mcculloch and owen coyle are strong contenders for the job,it also mentions valakari wants it and he would bring jonatan johansson as his assistant.
-
i can only go on the time i was there yesterday as i left when the fourth goal went in but from what i did see faddy was the only one shouting and trying to get instructions onto the players, with the current form were in mcghee should be glued to the touchline, trying to encourage and atleast show some sort of leadership but instead he goes into hiding, its no wonder skippy was looking across at the dugout yesterday as if to say what the fuck is happening here.
-
nothing would surprise me but i really hope robinson is nowhere near the managers job.
-
if mcghee does go i hope we dont give it to robinson until the end of the season, that would be to much of a gamble considering he got sacked at oldham for leaving them in the shite at the bottom of the table.
-
mcghee shouldnt have a choice in this, the board need to take matters into there own hands and remove him before the weekends out,we badly need something to change because as things stand it looks like we have no chance of turning this around.
-
there can be no way back for mcghee after today, the board need to act and quick.
-
i left when the fourth went in as i couldnt watch anymore, that might just be the worst i have ever seen from a motherwell team,no fight,no passion and if it wasnt so serious it would be funny just how bad we are at defending, samson is a fucking nightmare and were going down if we keep sticking with him.either mcghee needs too do the right thing and resign as this clearly isnt happening or the board need too grow some balls and sack him.were in real bother now losing 7 to aberdeen isnt acceptable but losing 5 to dundee before half time is scandolous.
-
we need to start picking up points and quick starting with this game,we cant keep expecting and hoping the 2 teams below us to keep messing up as tonights result showed that cant be the case.i really worry about us defensively but hopefully having moult and skippy back together can inspire us to a much needed 3 points.
-
blackburn are an absolute shambles of a club these days due to there foreign owners, coyle was always on a hiding too nothing there.
-
what detrimental effect have the fans had on the club over the last 18 months?
-
this is starting to feel like mccalls last season all over again where were seeing a scattergun approach too tactics and team selection and were just winging it hoping for the best from game to game.we dont look well drilled in any department and its actually embarrassing not only the amount but the level of goals we give away.a midfield 3 of pearson, mchugh and cadden would be my prefered option from now on with campbell next in line as theres no way his development should be slowed down by being behind the likes of clay and lucas who offer very little.we could see the likes of moult and cadden leave in the summer and along with most areas of the team needing improved, its best we get shot of mcghee as i wouldnt trust him too get that right.
-
i wouldnt say mcghee has lost the dressing room as theres too many shite players going through the motions from week to week but yet there guarenteed to still be in the team, they will be happy to keep mcghee as if or when a new manager came in they will be found out big time and shown the door.
-
it will be interesting what pish mcghee will come away with after that
-
as much as i dont rate mcghee and would love to see him gone the players are just as much too blame for that tonight, there a shower of gutless bastards that go into hiding when the going gets tough, before any of them have the brass neck too spend there wages this week they should reimburse every well fan that was there too witness that horror show tonight.
