  1. andy devlin's bit in todays sun mentions that blyth and bowman will also be part of the clearout and that we could have two new signings in by the end of the week.
  2. anybody that judged clay to be shite after his first game has been proven right, the guy is beyond useless,we should be looking to get rid in the summer but we might not find a club daft enough to take him off our hands.
  3. scougall and mcnulty who have just been released by sheffield utd, would be good signings for us.
  4. we know hammell has had his injury problems and playing him on a plastic pitch might not help but we have to forget that and play him,he is still by far the best option we have in that position and his experience could be invaluable in this game and if it means that either chalmers or jules won't get the chance to start the game then even better.
  5. if the club are letting a guy that had just been sacked by oldham dictate the terms of the deal, then our club is even more fucked that i thought.
  6. it's still mind boggling that we didn't just appoint robinson until the end of the season, see what happens and then go from there, giving him an 18 month deal was a joke of a decision.surely there has to be a clause that if we go down,we part company and it doesn't cost the club a penny, even if we somehow manage to stay up,robinson still needs too go.
  7. dunfermline and falkirk are bigger than us....that might just be the biggest lot of shite ever posted on here.
  8. i agree the squad is a mess and mcghee needs to carry the can for that,he never fixed any of the problems within the squad that were blatantly obvious even last season, robinson looks to be out his depth as a manager, much the same as malpas was,if there was even some small positive's in the way we were playing that would offer a glimer of hope going forward i would say maybe we should keep robinson for next season and let him build his own team but there's hee haw,he's sticking with a formation that clearly isn't working,to be persisting with it just because tait isn't fit is a joke,it's killing us,get ferguson in at right back and get cadden in his right position and go 4-4-2 for the remainder of the season.i really thought robinson would have changed the formation for this game after losing to dundee but he never,if he goes with it again next week then its safe to say,if it isn't already then he really is clueless.
  9. we have been on a downward spiral since we appointed a clown in barraclough and let him run riot in the transfer market, mcghee went through the motions and never rectified any of the problems that were staring us all in the face from last season.bringing robinson back as a coach was one thing but to have giving him the manager's job was a joke.i just hope the decision maker's at the club are having a serious think about there own futures, and then decide to fuck off so we can start to rebuild for the future because were going nowhere with this current lot at the helm.the majority of the squad can piss off too,it's at the point now where im sick of the sight of them on a saturday....wage thieving chancing cunts.

    Super Samson

fuck even having samson as a back up keeper, the guy is a proving liability,he couldn't be trusted anytime he was called opon, the sooner he's gone the better.
  11. that really is shocking from samson, having seen it again, that's even worse than it looked at the time.hopefully there's only 4 more games of him between the sticks then he can be chased and never darken our door again.
  12. samson is utter shite,he's been a liability on a number of occassion's this season costing us time and time again, but having said that its criminal that mcghee thought it was acceptable to go with him and a 20 year old loanee as our goalkeeping options for the second half of the season.there is serious deficiencies in our team that were there for all to see even last season that have never been rectified and now we might just pay the ultimate penalty by being relegated, there has been some real fuck ups in the decision making behind the scenes and its about time questions were asked of the folk running the club.that performance today was a disgrace,we could have gone 5 clear of dundee with a win so to have played like we did, with no passion,no clue about what is was were trying to achieve over the 90 minutes,it really does look like were throwing on 11 players and hoping for the best.its been 2 weeks since our last game, what have we worked on in that time, there was no shape and as for our set pieces,it was the same thing over and over, again were hoping rather than trying to do anything positive.this formation were playing needs to go before its too late, the players dont look in any way comfortable, the formation were going with the wing backs should be the most important 2 in the team imo,but yet were persisting with players 2 wingers there who cant defend, dundee's 2 goals in the second half highlighted that.before kick off things were in our own hands and with home games coming up against county and killie,we were in a decent position and we blew it.3 points next week is a must,we as fans know it but after watching that today,do the players really grasp how serious things are.
  13. huge 3 points for us and all credit to the players because when it went 2-2,the heads could have dropped and we could easily have went onto lose the game but this sitting back and letting teams come onto us has to stop,we just dont look comfortable playing that way.it was great having moult back, having him and mcdonald together again should be a big boost for the run in.young campbell was oustanding,he should never have been taking out the team after his performance over at accies and after today he should be a stick on for our next game,he's impressed more in two games than clay has all season and pearson since hes returned.
  14. were now at the must win stage so something has to give here,it's time for action before we run out of games,i just hope robinson can come up with a plan that doesn't play into the hands of inverness, approach it like we did against accies with the long ball, then it going to be yet another struggle.
  15. mcghee left us in a mess, the bottom line is were shite with some very poor players and nothing is going to change that this season.i wasn't expecting robinson to come in and have us playing silky football but there's no need for the long ball shite we have been subjected too especially as we look to be a bit more solid at the back, the time is now to start having more of a go,aye were currently without some players that would allow robinson to robinson to shake things up a bit more but if were to have any chance of staying up he simply has to change the style of play, the first half today was embarrassing from a professional football team and during the week wasn't much better.right now we look like a team thats taking to the pitch in hope rather than go out there to win with any sort of game plan.we made it far to easy for accies with our long ball tactics,if we do the same next week against inverness, who have a bigger and stronger backline, then serious questions will need to be asked of robisnon and the players that continue to just pass the buck by lumping it up the park at every oppertunity.
  16. i thought the day we lost at firhill under barraclough was bad but that today especially in the first half was nothing short of embarrassing,i really have no clue what robinson is trying, there is just nothing in any department of our team.the second half was a slight improvement but due to our inability to put the ball in the net,the damage was done in the first half,it really is a joke that all it takes is the opposition to score one goal and were beat.some of our players are utter shite, blythe is a total waste of space and an ageing lasley is still a better player than clay will ever be,as for pearson since hes came back it looks like he doesn't even know what a football is.we really are in a mess and anything other than 3 points against inverness is unthinkable.i like to try and stay as positive as possible but its hard too after witnesses that today and the midweek performance against hamilton.
  17. good post mate,i think moving cadden into central midfield would be a gamble but we really need to shake things up a bit and were at the stage of the season where taking a risk might just be required.if we can get cadden running forward with the ball in middle of the park that could change the dynamic of how we play straight away because none of our midfield two are ball carriers, pearson should be doing it,but hes been very poor since he came back, also having cadden getting forward from a central area should stop mcdonald coming deep all the time to try and make things happen,we badly need his experience and quality higher up the pitch, especially in games like the other night when we had some relatively untried players in our forward line.you make a great point about campbell,he was excellent against accies at there place and how he hasnt been involved since is a complete mystery.
  18. punting long aimless balls like we did last night, just doesn't work for us,we need to start working the ball wide more often and trying to do things that way.frear has an excellent delivery and we know ainsworth can do it when he's on his game and for me he should be starting.we all know cadds has been struggling for a while, mainly down to an injury but what were asking him to do right now isnt helping, just get the ball and try charge forward and that tactic has been quickly sussed by our opponents,i would like to see cadds move inside and try and use his energy in the middle of the park and try and get something different out of him, which could be a benefit as there is nothing coming from our central midfield right now.were far to predictable right now and maybe robinson needs to change it up a little, hopefully getting one or two back from injury sooner rather than later will help too.
  19. decent performance and a very welcome point that will hopefully raise the belief among our players.the hamilton game is now massive for us and takes on even more significance giving that ross county and dundee play each other and inverness are at pittodrie.
  20. Samson is utter shite and the sooner hes gone the better but having said that im not sure bringing in a young keeper in our predicament is a wise move.samson has been piss poor all season and everyone could see that (well apart from mcghee)theres no way we should have found ourselves left with the choice of samson and an inexperienced keeper, and the buck stops with mcghee for that.
  21. that's been the story of our season, missing chances and not scoring enough while woeful defending costs us dear.we definately deserved something from this game but ultimately it's another game gone and no points to show for it.
  22. weir resigned over a year ago,so why is he involved in the process to find a new manager?
  23. barraclough was"the outstanding candidate",mcghee was"the only man the club wanted" and now robinson is"the outstanding candidate",i think serious questions need to be asked of the folk making the decision at the club.
  24. bit of a strange appointment,i thought if we were going to go with robinson it would have been to the end of the season, see where we finish and then go from there.best of luck to him but im far from convinced hes the answer in the short term never mind going forward after that.
  25. if true, thank fuck pressley has turned us down.
