The way I saw it Hartley lunges in to block the shot with his leg which he does. The ball flies up in the air and hits his arm. There is no attempt to block with his arm;it's ball to hand not hand to ball.If the ball had bounced of his leg in any other directions we would be discussing a great block.

wouldn't be surprised to see him named as a sub given his record against the Accies. They wouldn't know if he was coming on or not so could act in our favour. Michael Stewart is an absolute arse who hates Well with a passion. He has his own set of rules and is constantly plugging his " if a striker is in the box and he feels contact and goes down it's a penalty" Absolute pish. Stewart along with "Tommo" are there to act like a comedy act constantly contradicting each other. Why are they even deemed to be pundits having both reached the lower echelons of mediocrity as players ???

Agree with lobey dosser that McHugh seems to have regressed since he got the armband. I think he is maybe trying too hard because he feels he has to set the benchmark for the rest of the squad. I would give the band to Hartley and let McHugh get back to doing what he was doing last season. He hasn't become a bad player and everybody and their granny on here said he was a shoe_in for the captaincy based on his performances last season. COYW

The blessed Brenda said in the paper this morning Celtic should get more penalties and lo and behold Collum obliges tonight. Rodgers on BBC says it wasn't a foul against Brown for the Well goal and it was a definite penalty for them. How many fouls does it take for Broonie to get a booking ?? He was spoken to 4 times tonight and is still card free.

Agree his tackle on McHugh was done with intent after the Kipre tackle on him. Like Saver I haven't seen footage of Kipres tackle but at the game I thought it was a great tackle. Dembele still shook hands with Well players at the end of the game so fair play to him

Still harping on about the tackle on Dembele in the Record. Assistant managers turn this time moaning about career threatening challenge after which he played long enough to take the penalty. Fair play to Dembele he was the only Celtic player who made the effort to come to the Well players and shake their hand after the game.

When picking up my tickets the guy in the office said the club have applied for special licences to have kiosks set up to sell alcohol in the Cooper concourse. He said they were expected any day.

I don't think any "serious" investors as you call them are going to be interested in buying shares in MFC. It is a way of raising cash and of giving a Well fan the chance to feel he/she is an active part of the club.
