Prices up because its now a Category A match against Champions League contenders ???

What a choice Scott Fir Park in the pouring rain or the international playground of the glitterati HULL Good luck.

We need a big hard ugly bugger to play in the middle of the park and put his foot in where its needed. Somebody who won't be bossed about by the likes of ned boy Broonie. Wanyama strolled through the game yesterday and thats the type of player we need in the engine room. Somebody strong with a bit of presence about them. Only problem is we don't have the money to bring anybody in. Wonder what Psycho is doing this weather ????

Shit. Somebody has sussed it out. Mon the TV coverage.

Crowd For Ibrox - League Cup Game
real dosser replied to walking down the Fir Park's topic in Club Chat
Was in the company of several "decent" Gers fans last night and they were on about this £1 entry and £14 pounds for a programme crap. I said it wouldn't be allowed but they seem to think Green has asked their lawyers to look into it and their argument is they can charge season ticket holders £1 but they can't put £1 as the general admission price. So they get their season ticket holders to buy at £1 and then buy a programme. Surely if this was OK every club in the land would try it on when drawn against the gruesome twosome in a cup competition. Mon the Dossers. -
Back 2 am today. Working 8am. fantastic trip in a great city with Spanish fans who made us feel as if we were long lost friends. Hope they do well in the rest of the competition. Mon the Dossers.

Couttsy I had problems with refne today as well when booking returns from Alicante to Valencia. When it got to the Visa verification page it said the transaction couldn't be completed and to phone my bank. I phoned my bank who passed me onto Visa verification who then set up a clearance to take effect after 30 minutes. I then got the tickets paid and an e-mail from rfne confirming that I had purchased the tickets but I couldn't print my tickets !!! I sent an e-mail to rfne explaining my problem and after a couple of e-mails back and forth I have now managed to print off my tickets so I am sorted. Hope you manage to get yours sorted out.

It won't be 5 or 6 to them over there. The way they played last night is the way they play all the time ( according to their own fans on their website) They defend well and hit teams on the break. If they get another goal next Thursday I think they will shut up shop and thats the end of it. Anyway to answer the question No I don't think we will score over there unless we can sign and register a player who can hit an incisive pass to open up a defence which is something we don't have at this moment in time. See you in Valencia. Mon the Dossers.

Kris-A-Goalda we try to do things too quickly What game were you watching ??? We are so pedestrian when we get the ball the other team have all the time in the world to get back and then we play 20 passes across the park or back to the defence before somebody makes an arse of it and gives it away. Against both Pana and last night against Levante we lost goals because we lost the ball outside their box and with no fuss and a couple of decent passes they were through our defence and scored, We have absolutely no penetration whatsoever especially against technically superior teams who know how to close down space and defend. Anyway I believe it will be 30 deg in Valencia next Thursday so remember the suntan screen lads. Mon the Dossers.

Guy I have been speaking to on the Levante site has confirmed they have cancelled the club charter as it was too expensive for fans (550 euros for flight, match and straight back ) He says that people are saying they are booking cheap flights but doesn't think there will be more than 100-200 fans over for the game. Anybody any ideas where we should meet up before the game?? Looking at a map there appears to be a big park just immediately beside the park on the way up from the city centre. Been on the Levante website and asked where we should go for a drink but they say the park is quite a bit away from the centre and there are a couple of bars near the park but they are used by Levante fans.
-
Visited their website today and was redirected to some article where a Levante fan was saying how they are always soaking up pressure and only score from set pieces and on the counter-attack. that was from one of their own so I think we might just get a wee result against them. Mon the Dossers

Look for some positives from the game. Young Cummins did us a turn. SPL teams won't have the quality players Pana had on view. Mon the Dossers

Wags in the crowd being shown on my link before the teams come back out Think they are with the Pana players right enough. LOL

The Scottish red top papers think they are the only worthwhile pundits to give their opinions on Scottish football. They like to think of themselves as journalists when about 90% of them couldn't spell the word without a Thesaurus. If only they would stick to reporting what actually happens in games rather than giving their own crap opinions to pander to whichever side of the OF is flavour of the month that day. Can any of you remember back to the Saturday Red ( Evening Times ) and Saturday Green ( Evening Citizen ) which people used to wait the delivery of on a Saturday night so they could read the reports of the afternoon games ?? No punditry then only somebody writing down what had actually happened at a game. Of course people get their sports news on TV nowadays but can't help but think it was better in the old days. At least we didn't have to read clowns like Keevins and Traynor spouting pish. Mon the Dossers.

Yea. He has a direct line to Jim ( the ARSE ) Traynor and Hugh ( the FUD ) Keevins. His carefully articulated wisdom regarding all things Motherwell can be read at least 3 times a month in the Rancid (and it's always the same shite ) Mon the Dossers.

Broomfield I'm sure you have been at the matches you talk about and I have been at games where stuff has been thrown onto the pitch without any damage being done to the club. BUT I am also the father of one of the Bovril Two who were forced to give up their season tickets for 5 years for DROPPING a plastic cup with half an inch of Bovril onto the Track around the pitch. The clubs response was they had to do it as it was in the referees report. So if any of the officials or the UEFA delegate on Tuesday night mention it in an official report Motherwell could well be fined for the behaviour of some clowns in the East Stand. I'm not blaming DEE or the guys who went to the effort of arranging the display as they are doing a terrific job of encouraging the support of the team ( It's beginning to reach me and I am sitting the other side of halfway ) So keep up the good work at the far end but if you were one of the guys who threw the paper onto the pitch just have a wee think before doing it again. Great news for Martyn. All the best with his new career.

SPL AGM at Hampden today agreed that Dundee would play next season in the SPL and Rangers wouldn't. What happened to all the other issues ???? Voting majority for change ???? Is it still 10-2 with Dundee voting as the Newco. ?? If so WHY ?? Split of revenue ( if any ) from TV deals ??? Was it discussed ??? If not why not?? This is a once in a lifetime chance to get something done about the shambles that is the SPL and we hear nothing. Is there going to be a pyramid system involving all the teams with Play -offs at the end of the season ??? Come on Motherwell for once lead by example and ask why these things were not discussed at the AGM. Mon the Dossers.
