More sad news for Well fans. It always seems to be players with more than average ability that we lose too early. Condolances to family & friends. R.I.P. Brian

Vital Information For Klm Flyers To Bucharest
real dosser replied to WellAyrshire's topic in Club Chat
There's probably about thirty guys in Well tops being held at Schipol airport while the authorities check with acergy uk if they work for them -
6:38 and you're up already or are you just getting home from last night ??
-
Wonmder if Mr Magoo played his famous all out attacking 4-3-3 system. You know the one he employed against St Midden in the cup.
-
RIP Mowgli. Condolances to his family and friends.

I think it has already been posted somewhere but the reason the Europa League game is being played in Airdrie is that the Fir Park floodlights are up for an overhaul during the week of the Bucharest game. It has nothing to do with the new pitch. The Wigan game would have been on a Saturday afternoon and therefore didn't need lights but I don't think UEFA would be too happy about playing a Europa League match in semi-darkness

The Albanians will never have experienced anything like a steakbake from Greggs.
-
The Albanians are saying they must declare all travellers are employees of the club for tax reasons. Looks like the Border Control people are only trying to ensure that there are no dodgy Eastern Europeans looking to enter the country and perhaps not go back again. If they are having to register them as employees of the club there would be some sort of control over who was entering the country. Then again our friendly Albanian poster from last week was going on about how beautiful the women were over there so why would they want to come over here.
-
Backing up Ankles optimism on the other thread I feel we won't win the Europa League as it startred too early in the season for us. But once we are up and running I fancy the domestic treble and if we don't get it then Mr Gannon can go back doon the road. I'm away to lie down in a darkened room.
-
I'm with you ankles. Mon the Dossers

Congratulations to you all for making it to Albania; but who's telling porkies ?? If it's the Albo 10 who the F*** took the picture ???
-
Don't see any reason why we cant beat them over here. Do you think that Big Guy the commentator kept talking about is related to Tuguy of Blackburn ?? Mon the dossers.
-
Where does he come from ?? Have seen him listed as being born in Walsall then South Africa and now the Racing Post stats page has him born in Jamaica. Does anybody know ?? Don't want the Ease End Baby Crew buying the wrong flags to wave at him. P.S. Don't buy any St George's cross flags for Jennings please.

Haw less of the cracks about Airdrie. You were all happy to park in my street last night and walk up to the game. ( Obviously the big crowd took the Airdrie Polis by surprise because they usually have cones oot everywhere)
-
Somebody asked why we had 3 and 4 defenders back just to mark their number 9. Because although not a particularly good player he was putting himself about, using his strength (and elbows) to good effect and generally causing the defence problems. Now look at the other end of the park. What the F*** did Sutton do last night ?? Absolutely Hee Haw and not for the first time in his career at Well. IMO he is a waste of a jersey. All the people who moaned about Clarky's poor first touch and aimless running about should look at what we have up front now that he ain't here. Jim Gannon has his work cut out but I'm sure that given time he will make us a better side and I still think we are good enough to get a result in Wales next week. Mon the Dossers.

There is parking available at New Broomfield. I think they usually charge a couple of quid to use it but there is definately enough space to accommodate a fair number of cars. There isn't much in the way of on street parking nearby as they usually put cones everywhere near the stadium. Sorry but I think my driveway is already full tonight.
-
Welcome to Scotland Jim. Hope we all get what we want from your arrival. Roll on Thursday. 100% behind you and the team. Mon the Dossers.

Please Flow tell us you aint going to Bradford to set up an interview for JB with the wee ginger haired twat that likes dancing on car bonnets.

Sydney Mibees you could take all the Record ""journalists"" out for one of the free lunches that seem to be all the rage at the Record at the moment.

That's my take on the situation as well Fatcalf. Don't think the Welsh lot will move to the bigger stadium because they already think the tie will be over at Fir Park and they won't fork out any money if they don't see a return for it. There might well be a few disappointed folk who won't get a ticket for the return. P.S. I have a season ticket and have had for many years but as I work in the NHS I am committed to working some weekends and so occasionallly have to miss out on games even at Fir Park. Same applies to away matches. So due to circumstances outwith my control I can't always get to every match. Does that make me any less of a supporter ?? I think the club in general try to do their best as there is no way they can please all the people all the time. I am sure they will get as many tickets as they can for the return.

Did some surfing and came up with these prices Arsenal £855 - 1825 Liverpool 650 - 750 Chelsea 660 - 1150 Tottenham 635 - 1675 West Ham 615 - 885 Portsmouth 600 - 925 Everton 503 - 603 Man City 388 - 625 Hull 380 - 450 Middlesborough 390 - 550 Sunderland 415 - 525 Stoke 334 - 499 Newcastle 330 - 650 West Brom 299 - 399 Bolton 299 - 449 Aston Villa 265 - 510 Fulham 299 - 779 Wigan 250- 295 Blackburn 249 - 439 Scottish Premier League Rangers 409 - 612 Celtic No details unless you apply ( What's the secret ) Hearts 290 - 460 Hibs 355 - 380 Dundee Utd 360 - 420 St Johnstone 315 - 375 Falkirk 275 - 375 ( one at £200 which excludes OF games) Killie 300 ( only last seasons prices available) Aberdeen 241 - 425 St Mirren 285 - 315 Accies 300 ( seems to be the only price quoted) Motherwell 270 - 370 Quite surprised Aberdeen have a season cheaper than ours considering the Management wages they must be paying next season

JB has said we won't have a new manager by the time the Europa cup kicks off. Has he somebody in mind that won't be available for a couple of weeks yet ?? Who would fit that bill ?? Stuart Pearce would possibly be available after the Under 21 competition in Sweden (?) Might be looking to get back into club management. There's the one from left field that everbody's talking about. Lets keep this idea going and see if Keevins does his usual journalistic homework and has an exclusive about Pearce seen at Fir Park.

If it comes down to Luc or Gary Mac I would go with Luc. MacAllister shot himself in the foot after his comments the last time as far as I'm concerned and now that he has had a not too successful spell with Leeds he has decided he wants to come back to HIS TEAM. Luc on the other hand is making the right noises as far as I'm concerned talking about working with young players and helping them develop. We like to think on here that we have a good youth system in place so why not let somebody with a good record with young players have a shot at it. He is also talking about bringing his family back to Scotland if he gets the right job ( totally the opposite to Muttley who still kept his house and family in Brighton ). I say give the guy a chance. Mon the Dossers.

Last I heard (on Clyde I think) we are holding out or 250K for the pair and Willie (the ref Miller) has offered 100K. Gaun yersel JB do your WBA impression "If yez want them that's the price if you ain't willing to pay then F*** off" Mon the JB

Suggest you log into the Record website and register and then ask for a retraction from Keevins. I know it ain't going to happen but a few of us are already there and it won't look good to the Record if all the comments on their own site are about the nasally challenged dwarf concocting stories to get himself a headline.
