The post above about him thinking it over and giving an answer on Wednesday seems about right to me. Now that West Brom are playing hardball with Celtic over Mowbray and Lawell is saying he won't be held to ransom I reckon MMG still thinks there is a chance he will land the Sellick job and is holding out to see what happens there. Whatever it ain't doing us any favours and I'm getting pissed off with all the hanging about. Either say you're staying (unlikely as far as I'm concerned ) or F*** off and let us get on with it. Come on Luc.
-
Aye but is he Motherwell minded ????
-
Luc with an experienced No2 who knows current Scottish football scene. Malpas anyone ???? Seriously if we could get somebody to work with Luc I would be happy with that. Anybody but the Burrows/Elder "dream team" somebody proposed further up the page.

Any Fans Here With No Connection To Motherwell/lanarkshire ?

Christ you must have been pretty stoopid at school if you didnae leave Knowetop till you were 20 I left when I was eleven. -
Bobby Graham never got the credit he was due when he played alongside Wullie Pettigrew. Graham would get the ball, hold it up, wait for Pettigrew to arrive and play it in front of him to run onto and Wullies pace took him past defenders and scored a lot of his goals due to the assists from Bobby Graham.

Don't laugh at the Roy Aitken link. I heard last night that it's a done deal for David O'Leary as manager with Aitken as assistant. The official announcement is being delayed till Sunday so the Smelts can steal Rangers thunder in the press (assuming The Teddy Bears win the cup) If you haven't heard this before remember you heard it here first. Mon the Dossers.

Probably one of the best inside forwards ( midfielders to you young pups ) to ever grace the Claret & Amber. Not the biggest guy in the world but more than made up for his lack of stature with an abundance of ability. I still consider it a priviledge to have seen first hand the Ancell Babes. That was the team when I started following the Dossers and was undoubtedly the best team ever to don the Claret & Amber. The only regret was that they never managed to win a trophy that their play deserved. Weir McSeveney McCallum Aitken Martis McCann Reid Quinn St John Hunter Weir What a team !!!!!!!!!

According to the list above we can't be playing them as they are going straight into the 2nd qualifying round. Your UEFA friend is at the wind up.

New Broomfield will do nicely. 6 minutes from my front door. Only a fiver a skull to park in my driveway. Mon the Dossers.

As soon as Tango man buggers off, Strachan resigns at Porkheid. Maybe because he is of the "Aberdeen family" he is shooting up the East coast to be with his pal Willie " I'm the ref" Miller. MCGhee will be off to London Road and Owen Coyle is coming back to Lanarkshire to join the Dossers because they gave him a game at the Masters. Whit a load of P**h. Lets just wait and see what happens.

Remember it well. You coming in late as usual and all the punters telling you to sit down as you were blocking their view. Some things never change.

Thanks for that Leeann. It's great to see that at last we have somebody in the halls of power who seems keen to keep the fans up to date with whats happening at Fir Park. Keep up your good work. Mon the Dossers

Heard that wee arse Keegans on Radio Clyde saying Well are involved in a "War of Words" with the Hibees about who's bottle will go at the weekend. Anybody seen or heard anything about this anywhere ???

The JVofH assault was a total joke. Brines knew there was a foul and blew then realised it was the big whore of Castlemilk and twigged he would need to send him off as he had already booked him so he took the easy option and gave a foul to Celtic. As already stated Klimpl's booking was given because the wee Ginger whiner was running up and down the line moaning. Second half he as a bit better but how the south stand can give us a chorus of "Who's the mason in the black" I'll never know.

Jay I'm sure I heard the last bit about "why don't you go home ". If I'm wrong I apologise but I think it was sung and no doubt the Weggie media will pick up on it it it's true.

To Mr Strachan @ Celtic Park We might just have had one shot on target today and got a point Thats one more than you had last Sunday at Porkheid and got a point. So dry your eyes and GRUY. And Brines you can get tae F***

As I was leaving the East Stand today there was a senior plod ( scrambled egg around the hat type ) standing just before the steps down to the gate. As it was obvious that the Celtic fans (sic) were being allowed to leave the Cooper at the same time I asked him (politely I may add) what happened to the Health & Safety issues about both sets of fans meeting behind the Copper. His reply ?? " Nothing to do with me. On your way" Now he is probably getting about £300-400 for an overtime shift. So why the F*** is he there if it has nothing to do with him. As it was there was a wee bit of bother just outside the gates as I left with I think a couple of Celtic fans being huckled by the police. Totally predictable and preventable if the people in authority would do what they are supposed ( and being paid ) to do. No doubt the papers tomorrow will be full of S***e about Well fans singing The Famine Song to wee Aiden whilst the Smeltic fans stood for the whole match in the South Stand and gave us several renditions of The Soldiers Song and other associated Irish Ditties. P.S. can somebody point Samaras in the direction of a branch of Boots to buy some shampoo. ( He looks like Hartleys love child) Anyway Mon the Dossers.

The wee ginger minger was doing plenty of talking to him at Porkheid on Sunday. Probably along the lines of " See how the ref disnae gie fouls when van fanny whor of castlemilk jumps in wi his elbows oot" Well you do the same next week. "And see how Mcmanus brings down Miller about 30 seconds after the balls away then thats no a penalty." Just you do the same as your pal oot there and we'll get on fine. Of course if that wee foreign guy Klimpl goes in hard on wee Nakymurra then its got to be a booking right away.

St MIdden have never had 18000 fans in their puff.

Agree entirely with your point Foghorn about using the FPC or not but there is a perception that it is a Rangers place. I can go back a long time as well to when there was still a crossroads at Flemington ( where I hear the younsters asking ) and a well known Rangers haunt called the Flemington Bar. When Flemington cross was removed to make way for the roundabout that now occupies the site the Rangers fans moved en masse to the Fir Park Club as it was the nearest drinking place at the time ( I don't think the Bullfrog was there then ) That is a FACT as I know several Rangers fans who used to work with me who made the changeover and openly admitted that it was a good move as the drink was cheaper because it was a club. That is where the Rangers tie up comes from I think and yes I know that on a Saturday or when the Dossers are playing at Fir Park the FPC has lots of Well fans in before and after the game outwith those times I think you will find that there are lots of otherwise inclined football fans in there. But as you said if you don't like it don't go in.
