  1. I see Chris Cadden's game is on Sky Sports Football at 8pm tonight.
  2. If McBurney can get called up then Tony Watt should be a shoe-in for the Scotland squad on the basis of his current form. He has to keep it up though in the next few games.
  3. no need for a poll tonight. Watt by a distance with good support from Polworth; O'Hara; McGinley and Cole
  4. I'm sure I read somewhere that if we are drawn against a team from a country that hasn't an air bridge agreement with us then we have to find a neutral venue to play the game or we are given a 3-0 defeat and are knocked out of competition. ? Anyone confirm.
  5. having a clear out at home today and found that very strip in a drawer under the bed LOL
  6. Renewed mind on line but had a problem trying to get my grandaughters. Wendy sent me the details how to do it and now sorted. She said they were going well so obviously there are people who can afford it and are still wanting to back the club despite all the uncertainty about next season. I fully appreciate there are probably a lot of people who are not in my position and I am really sorry for them in the present situation.
  7. Was told at Paisley the last time we played there that White was a done deal on a pre-contract. Saw him against Dundee Utd on ? BBC Scotland on a Friday night recently He scored and is your typical big gangly No 9 like Crouch but not quite as big. He could be a good addition as he is different to anything we have at the minute.
  8. I was never of the opinion that we were trying to sell him by making the video. It was done (in my opinion) to keep Well fans up to date with his progress and to show the club and physios in a good light and if you listen to what he says in the video he expresses his feeling of being liked and supported by everybody connected with the club when he needed support. Hardly saying he was desperate to leave. Well done the club and the player for today's decision. COYW
  9. Is there going to be a pitch inspection today or do we just assume the game is on until told differently
  10. Correct Dave. He said on Clyde game is still touch and go but the excellent ground staff will do everything they can to get the game on.
  11. There is a pitch inspection at 12:30.
  12. Robinson has already stated that Watt will be on the bench as he is not up to speed fitness side and also on the role he is going to be asked to play.
  13. he has just scored the winner in the 91st minute for Birmingham.
  14. Hope the club make Celtic stump up for any cleaning etc.
  15. She's hired a detective to keep an eye on him apparently.
  16. Went to the game yesterday saying to myself at least it's got to be better than the first day of the season. It wasn't. It was twice as bad and far worse than the Accies game. Apart from Gillespie we had nobody who can claim to have played at anything like a reasonable level. Polworth just can't play on that surface but when I saw he was being substituted by O'Hara I said to the guy next to me that we were settling for 0-0. What happened next, long ball into the box Livi score and we are left with nobody on the park capable of making an incisive pass to get us back into the game. Everybody going on about signing a big striker to play up top need to take a reality check. Every team in the country is looking for that player and we don't have the financial clout to compete in that market. Don't get me wrong I would love a big 20 goal a season target man but am realistic enough to know it won't happen any time soon.
  17. Why this great shout to bring back Murphy? He's crocked and ANOTHER winger who we have too many of apparently.
  18. See it is 100% for Gillespie. I think it will stay that way as he was the only one to get anywhere near pass marks today.
  19. On today's performance Scott playing would have made no difference. We had nobody on the park who could pass a ball to a Well Jersey. The only person to come out with any credit was Gillespie.
  20. If this guy shows any promise in the next 6 months then we might be in the position to keep him as Newcastle have been punting him on loan a few times now and might allow him to go.
