  1. With regards the alleged "experienced" players being in the huff - i'd rather keep Gannon and pump the "experienced" players oot the door. Everyone is replaceable!!! Anyway it's just the media playing mind-games with us because they know we're winning the League next season!!!
  2. Does Jim O'Brien have a German Agent? If not, i wouldn't worry about the article.
  3. Carl Spackler, the Cinderella boy - quality!!!
  4. I heard that Freddie Dindeleux was spotted in Brighton on Wednesday, Brighton's & Gannon's next signing???? Plus anyone reckon Dindeleux is earning his wages at present at Motherwell, sure he signed for us about 5 years ago, never seen him play once for us.
  5. Stick that picture up on the board for a gander
  6. Three stick in the mind ..... Scott Leitch - very dour, met him in a pub in Hamilton(he was with Quinn, O'Donnell, Paterson) Jim Paterson - really friendly, we couldn't get rid of him Lee McCulloch - i knew his girlfriend at the time and met him and Barry Ferguson in the Palace. Really friendly and ended up joining our round. Even Ferguson, was ok.
  7. Highlight fir me.....someone half-inching a filofax on the way hame!!! He knows who he is
  8. Did Gannon mention Stephen Craigan by name? No, outsiders have. Take McGarry for example, is he earning his wage when not even part of the first-team squad?.... a first-team wage to sit in the Main Stand, I think not. Craigan was interviewed last week and stated that he believes Scottish football would be better off if more managers had Gannon's philosophy, which is a glowing review of Jim Gannon's management skills, maybe we should have more faith.
  9. What's wrong with a few home truths.....we're a football club where players come and go all the time. If we're paying squad/bit players, first-team wages...then sadly it's time to punt em' regardless of their past records at the club. If they were playing well, they'd leave us without a care in the world for more rewarding pastures.
  10. The Romanian Police only helped us get a cheaper taxi when we played there, so unfair
  11. McCart did hook it skywards but sadly that day he scored a OG, the Louis Thow game was against Hearts a few weeks later and again McCart(fae memory) hooked it skywards into the arms of Mr Woods.
  12. What about the next Aberdeen away game .....flying via Amsterdam?? A boy at ma work used his card with Delta Airlines and highly recommends the Oasis Lounge in JFK Airport
  13. Aye especially since our Petroleum companies had agreed four optics per spirit with KLM the week before. The women at the front-desk were also a tad heavy-handed wi' those who didn't have printed confirmation sheets tae.
  14. Yes, he plays for the Auld Firm so probably a tad "special" - i don't mean he can move hings wi' this mind special
  15. What a party we would have had with 2000 in Bucharest although the KLM Lounge would have been mobbed!!
  16. Joint leading SPL Goalscorer and scored more than any of our full international strikers, Kyle, Miller, Riordan and Naismith(i'll skip Fletcher since he's in the EPL) Wonder how quickly before Danny Wilson is capped
  17. I'll second that...although the ground was a dump
  18. We go to Bucharest and have a great time - these bawbags go and .... Chuckle It's a tough life being the gid guys!!! The story gets better ....check oot gossip story no 3..... It's ok, it wasn't Rangers fans, just Chas & Dave
  19. Brian Welsh's goal in the Scottish Cup replay in 93/94 season. Such low, after the Softie high!! I'm still haunted by the memories of Kevin Christie's reaction to the Stevie Woods back-pass howler against Rangers tae!!
  20. That’s what I remember too....plus a few choruses of Vera Lynn’s “We’ll meet again”, sadly it was my final visit to Broomfield ...another goal that sticks in my mind was scoring a 3rd at Aberdeen (cannae remember who scored it) in 2001/2002 and running towards the cage to celebrate only to run into someone's seat that had remained in the sitting position...god that hurt ma shin, plus the game ended 3 all.
  21. Did Ally Graham hit the bar from about 30 yards that day?
  22. There's a blast from the past...i had completely forgotten that game. Remember going nuts against Falkirk in SC on the night the lights failed but fuelled with ID(Ice Dragon Cider) in the auld Brockville Shed - good job we won the replayed match
