Yes i do, i'm manager of Port Vale Nah Mr Broony, the boy was shite, he plays fir Leeds, who are also shite(Burn Broomfield will confirm this).
-
Stupid ruling, silly mistake made by both clubs. He could have been crap, he could have been good, we'll never know. Now, on to the next one......
-
Loving the mock outrage, it's such a easy thing to check, it's a joke, blah, blah, blah..... Now correct me if I'm wrong, did anyone of us notice the rule-breach???

Sutton for Rangers.....ma baws!! Mare chance of them signing Hal Sutton, the US Golfer
-
I miss Mr Gannon & Mr Ward I'll give McCall time to show what he can do, if he believes Black is best man for the job, then so be it.

Up to around 95 and the introduction of the Bosman Rule for me....when most players were on low pay(compared with todays values) but good bonus schemes to encourage better results. Also at a time when football was reasonably cheap, standing was an option and the majority of games were played on Saturdays at 3pm
-
Yes but he'll get the Reynolds wages. This is where the test lies for McCall(and any future Motherwell managers), what can he do with this wage and other wages who have left recently. In this day & age, MFC will never buy a player for £££'s and to be honest we shouldn't need too. Plenty of Bosmans and loan deals out there to be had.

Shaun Hutchinson for me, purely based on that being his first full 90 mins and up against the 3rd top Premier League scorer. Randolph would have easily won it otherwise. Not sure why but i really enjoyed the game today, it was great seeing Hutchinson back, Meechan getting a chance and even Forbes winning his fair-share of tackles. I took a good few positives from the game and look forward to seeing who McCall can bring in this month.

If you go to www.mcfc.co.uk and click on the third page of the main stories, you can see McDermott in action against Rochdale(Reserves).

The love-in with the richest club in the world and next season's Premiership Champions begins???? PS Sure i noticed some wealthy looking Arabs(and i dont mean Eddie Thompson Jr) with Freddie Dindeleux at Fir Park this morning.
-
What size of top are you looking for? I've probably got some tops from the last 5/6 seasons if you want one of them.
-
I'd get rid of Gow, Fizzy and Blackman - all replaceable. I honestly believe that every club in the Premiership has at least one potential young striker available for loan, of a similar or better standard to Blackman. Players that we've never seen or heard about. You just need the right contacts to find them and hopefully Mr McCall has them.

Form a British League, that would be excellent....Job done!! Awayday heaven!!!

Fir Park - I'm Sorry But It's Time To Go
Infamous Wee Grafter replied to MJC_MKI's topic in Club Chat
Did the club ever actually apologise to the fans in the East Stand for the state of the toilets during the Rangers game? Ah still cannae believe that lad fell in aw that pish (did he contact the club about it?) -
Who was that Italian looking chap with the Scottish accent over-seeing training today??

I hope Lynda Block buys me a CP Company jacket for Crimbo but i doubt i'll get it. Hint Hint

That move can be taken in various ways though, for example some might get a massive kick in confidence that a manager has shown faith in his ability to pick him to play against Celtic. It also could give the lad the taste of 1st team action and encourage him to work harder to press onwards. Then someone else comes in(Broon in this case) and sends him packing to the Albion Rovers and a) knocks his confidence about dropping him out of the 1st team window and b) depending on the player's attitude, knock his interest in football in general. So did Gannon or Brown actually knock his confidence??? Only Meechan can tell us that.

Roll on December 2011, 6th place and the search for Motherwell's new manager at Christmas. It's kinda becoming more interesting than the annual race for Christmas No 1.
-
His agent is Mr Dindeleux, who was spotted outside Fir Park this week.

I'm still going with Dickov, think he meets a lot of the required tick-boxes; Working with a small budget Working with a young squad - topped up with loan signings Working with a club currently "punching above it's weight". Oldham have average crowds of around 4500 like us. Only on a 12 month contract, so less than 9 months remaining. Very good links with various clubs (2 of which are top 4 in the Premiership), Exceptional close ties with Manchester City, who have a highly regarded youth set-up for tapping us into. Should have a good understanding of the Scottish game, possibly even a local lad, is he from Bellshill or i'm I thinking about Dougie Freedman???? Something a little bit different from the usual mob Ok he's only in his first season of management but proving to be coping well. I'm trying to locate a recent video about him from the Man City website but cannae find the link any longer, seemed like a decent chap going in the right direction. PS....Randolph would love Dickov's club trips to La Manga
-
Thinking outside the box....... Paul Dickov, doing well with Oldham in League 1, knows players in the English lower leagues that we have nae idea about and probably likewise with other scottish clubs, working on a small budget and good links with a certain moneybags club with a great youth academy.

He was an Accies man anyway. Looking fowards, I'd gee it tae Collins - she looked great on the One show this week tae

Sack him on the basis of the following; "Over the past couple of months it has become abundantly clear that the manager was not fully committed to the club and, despite our best efforts, he repeatedly refused to sign a contract." All together now, Craig Brown Child Protector
