Disappointed I couldn't make it down, but a reasonaly comfortable performance from the guys in the end. For those of you who decried Buzz and wanted him out .................... careful what you wish for Here's hoping Fraser's confidence grows, but not filling me with optimism at the moment. Onwards and upwards MON RA DOSSERS

Seems like a good time to see what I've stored away since the 60's Like Andy_P, I was also thinking of prints of past heroes, I suppose similar to what the Jambo's have done. Whatever approach we take, it's a great idea to celebrate our team and heritage everytime FP is visited NON RA DOSSERS

Aberdeen Say Managers Job Is Mark Mcghee's If He Wants It
Fal_Dosser replied to Well Well's topic in Club Chat
I've reckoned for the past season that MMG was holding for the day that Smellic came looking for him, but now that the reality is starting to unfold, I actually feel that he's more likely to head up to Sheepyville. I hope I'm well off target, and MMG has plans to stay exactly where he is, to lead us again through next season and beyond, but if he decides to go, it has to be quickly, as we need to hit the ground running in 4 or 5 weeks time, with a new new gaffer in place and his ideas planted. Interesting few days ahead MON RA DOSSERS -
I was stuck in the house as the missus was out, and I'd pretty much given up on the game - she appeared about 15 mins from half time, and after listening up to that point on the radio, I decided to get to FP from Falkirk asap and hammered over to get in for the last 30 mins. Even at 1-0 down, the atmosphere could be cut with a knife, but to say it was an amazing 30 mins worth of football is a massive understatement - Skippy Sunday will live long in the memory MON RA DOSSERS

I'd have to opt for Killie as well - for no other reason than allowing the moaning JJ to depress the lower leagues with his 'we're great, they're p!sh' rants MON RA DOSSERS

Finding this a real toughy this week as I thought there were a good few who contributed well Will maybe revist later when I think of something extra special that happened MON RA DOSSERS

Can't say I feel anything for the Midden, good or bad, but they deserve all the paudits going for the way they dealt with Deaddogman and his kids. To offer to pay him for his journey home, not to mention offering the refund, says a lot for them - for the way they dealt with the situation after he turned down the lift, the should receive the highest praise - it would have been easy to turn their back at that stage, but to look after him so well during the game was brilliant. Everyone behind the scenes at the Midden who helped out, you're a credit to your club MON RA DOSSERS

Only decided to go at the last minute and glad I did - was a fairly assured performance from all, but credit again to Buzz for keeping the scoresheet blank whe Dorman was through on goal early doors Pity O'Brien didn't finish off the move near the end after some superb passing set up the chance MON RA DOSSERS

Ceske - if we're seen as moaning, then so be it, but as has been said, the main gripe is with prices in general, and we've moaned at our own club through the season about lowering prices to get punters through the gate. Like it or not, relegation for us should be a non starter, so unless there's an incentive, many just won't pay the asking price for away games now - reduced prices not only benefit us, but the home fans as well with a lrager than normal home crowd behind the team Doubt it will happen though, as I reckon FFC will hope for a spin off in the home gate as a result of yesterday's win - be interesting to see if that transpires. And no doubt about it, we win on Saturday, Falkirk could well be in the mire MON RA DOSSERS

Being a 'home' game, I was intending this to be a must ......... until I realised I'm away the weekend Still at 21 pound a pop, plus whatever for the wee fella, maybe just as well it's going to be missed - may well take in the Midden game now that they done the decent with the prices. Inverness as a midweek fixture - dread to think what kind of crowd we'll get for that MON RA DOSSERS

I watched some cracking teams and players over the 40 odd years of supporting the Well, but I'd agree that some of the football played last year was sublime. Agree with Rickoza that the 5-3 win over Utd was superb (but will sadly live in memory for Uncle Phil) - another for me was the league cup win over Hibs at Fester Road - blowing the Sheep away in a devastating first 15\20mins at FP early in the season to name but 3 MON RA DOSSERS

I get my season each year, but reckon I'd go to all home games if I had to pay at the gate. However, its an easy statement to make as I don't have to pay at the gate - I'm very picky about the away games I go to, as I simply can't afford to shell out every other week for the wee fella and me, so it could well happen for home games if I didn't get\couldn't afford my season ticket. Without doubt, the pricing structure has to be looked at. MON RA DOSSERS

There's no doubt that the two home games are winnable, as is the Killie away game - feel pretty much the same about the Blue bigots at Castle Greyskull, although experience tells us anything from the game is a bonus. Immediate worry is Killie - they're toiling something awful, game on setanta etc More than one curse to be broken in this game methinks MON RA DOSSERS

MMG made encouraging noises at the Mega Bar about being able to keep Klimpl - in my eyes, the guys a must to keep hold of MON RA DOSSERS

Haven't seen any re-run of the game, but must admit for a second or two after the guy went down (just before Clarky's goal) I was waiting on the whistle. If it had been at the other end, I would probably have went nuts at that pr!ck Brines, but there have been coutless times over the years where these instances have worked in reverse, so to get the rub of the green for once is pleasing. Anyone get a good look at the run of play that led to Clarky's booking - one thing that sticks in my mind is the lack of reaction fron the Utd lad when Clarky went down more often than not, the 'offending' player usually has a right go at the player going down when there was nothing in the incident - tell its own story ? Well deserved 3 points for the Dossers - we had a good few opprotunities to put the game out of sight, and could quite easily have had another Tannadice result . Sandanza gave them a bit of impetus at the strat of the 2nd, but as usual with Utd, the only time I was woried was at set pieces due to their height Get the feet on the ground for next week, and all could fall into place nicely MON RA DOSSERS

Echo what's already been said - cracking night with Tam Cowan in fine form enjoyed the players 'Question of Sport' and Johnny Gahagan was superb - great value for a tenner and already looking forward to the next one. Big thumbs up to Diane et al for a well thought out night. MON RA DOSSERS

Morning after and I'm still gutted - beaten by a very average team yet again, but over the two games, we can hardly complain. Left the ground last night thinking we lost that game as soon as it started at FP, and I'd still lay a loy of the problems on how we played the 1st half at FP - it's almost as if we were constantly chasing the game after that Last night was ok in spells but we gave the ball away far too often and put ourselves unnecessary pressure - Clarky's pass in their box which led to their goal was shocking, but they still had the length of the park to run to score Said it before, would take Mehmet in a minute - the one player with the Midden who's quality MON RA DOSSERS

As for either half of the Bigot Bros complaining about the price of getting in to FP - I couldn't give a flying F... I haven't been to to the Great Unwashed's ground for near enough 15 years, and have no intention of doing so while they charge over the odds - if they are so put out by our prices, they should do likewise, and don't come to FP - there, problem solved Football's too dear as it is but that's for another post MON RA DOSSERS

I'm sure I heard we had 1600 of an allocation - may or may not be accurate. Looking good for the wee fella and me now MON RA DOSSERS

Derek - if that's an option and you don't mind getting tickets for the wee fella and me, superb. Don't worry though if things have changed and you're toilng to get down now. PM me and we can sort out the details there - at work just now but I'll check as we go through the day MON RA DOSSERS

Agreed Why the hell can it just not be pay at the gate MON RA DOSSERS

If this was happening in just about any other country, I reckon it would be largely dismissed. For my own part, I couldn't give a monkey's chuff what country he decides to play for - quite simply, the lad is a very promising young player, and any opposition fans tend to pick on players who can hurt their own team, and give them abuse as a result - arguments will be made about the Irish thing, but if that wasn't the focal point, chances are, something else would be picked up on (he's a moaning faced wee shit for example), but hey, we live in the West of Scotland, so let's make it a massive issue. Players such as Lennon, Ferguson, that tit Boyd, have had dogs abuse from me in the past, not always because they are the best of players (tit Boyd again), but because they tend to do things in games that hurt my team - that's why I give abuse, it's got piss all to do with religion - I accept there will be those who latch on to this aspect, but to label a teams fans because of a few who no doubt do use the religous aspect, to my mind, is bordering on desperation for a story - also find it very strange how the Bigot brothers fans are allowed to get away with the religous bile week in, week out, and do we get this fuss, do we f... ! Football is dying on it's feet with regards to atmosphere as it is, the quicker we get beyound issues like this, the better MON RA DOSSERS
