!00% behind the sentiment of getting behind the team and not getting on the backs of players. Where I would also take issue with MMG is as has been mentioned previously - I won't argue that you tried setting out a 4-3-3, but there was only the one recognised striker. I could pick a team full of defenders and midfield players and tell them to play 4-3-3, but it's hardly likely to the most effective offensively. We were playing the Midden, at home, in a Scottish cup match, with Sutton, Murphy and Sheridan warming the bench, whilst Clarky battled manfully. However it's past, in MMG we trust, and the Midden are still there for the taking MON RA DOSSERS

Accies certainly had the edge first half, but they'll kill off fitbaw playing like that - I was stuck looking skywards everytime they got the ball - to put a balance on it however, they caused us problems in the air all game, so fair play to the defence who stuck at it and by and large, defended like defenders Buzz's saves from the deflected shot first half, and the low shot in the 2nd were top drawer - the guy can still improve on aspects of his game, but his agilty and shot stopping are superb - I hope he stays when it comes to making his decision Haven't heard Reid's comments, but if he is complaining of Klimpl scrapping and battling away in midfield, then it beggars belief - he's built a team that can handle themselves, have no doubt about that, but he must consider himself on a par with the Squirm and untouchable, if he thinks his team are angels Actually thought we could have scored another goal or two in the 2nd, with a little more guile around the box, especially Sheridan's breakaway when it was 3 against 1 defender - we'll let it lie given the end result and blame the pitch Looking forward to seeing the highlights as Clarkie's goal seemed to take an eternity before we realised it was a goal - perfect time and burst their bubble big time All in all, a reasonably good day at the office, far from playing as we can, but we dug out a result MON RA DOSSERS

Reading this topic, I feel as though I've travelled a year back in time Did we really learn nothing from last years experiences - fear it's going to get much worse in the next few weeks - Celtic due to visit with a game on Setanta - sound familiar ! MON RA DOSSERS

Agreed he didn't have the best of games but sadly there was noticable booing from the Cooper end of the East - utter pish, regardless of who it is, especially when the players feel the need to comment on it. Thankfully J O'B seems to have turned most round for the moment, but how long before he gets it in the neck if he has a bad few games ? MON RA DOSSERS

"i Made An Arse Of It"( In The First Half)......mcmghee Admits

Think most of us were stunned when the team was read out - how on earth we can only play 1 recognised forward against poorish opposition defied belief However, as said, the half time change fairly changed our approach and yet another game that we completely dominate. Slightly worrying though that for the 3rd such game in a row, we only have a draw to show for it at the end of 90mins. Very promising start for big Sheridan. MON RA DOSSERS -
Ditto to all that's been said Wouldn't mind a return in the future when you get league status, and I can spend some time in the town before the game. MON RA DOSSERS

Brazilian - I agree that in normal circumstances, you buy your ticket you take your chances, but the club held a position yesterday whereby the refund was on offer for a couple of days after the game. It was an unusual circumstance and offer but even with a day off yesterday, I made the choice to wait a day or two before returning a ticket as (i) the weather was bad enough in Falkirk (ii) I had already arranged for other things to happen, which taking into consideration the club's stance, I didn't need to cancel. The change today is annoying to say the least MON RA DOSSERS

Feared for my life at that point MON RA DOSSERS

Hope so - I mentioned family ticket, but just in general terms Wouldn't think there would be any need to make it an all ticket game MON RA DOSSERS

Family ticket for me and the wee fella on Saturday - not too shabby MON RA DOSSERS

Fair enough Frazzle, and I bought my ticket knowing that I may lose out BUT The message from the club all along is that tickets could be returned for a refund, and the info being given out by a club employee yesterday has created a problem You may well be right (not morally mind you) that, as there was nothing official posted re this, that we're screwed MON RA DOSSERS

Carl_MFC 's post above would seem to answer this MON RA DOSSERS

Utter pish by the club if this is true - there was certainly the suggestion yesterday that the tickets unused could be returned after the game I live a good deal closer to FP than DC'd, but Falkirk's still not just round the corner, and unfortunately, there's a working life to try and fit round the club's idea of office hours I had a ticket for a guy who unfortunately couldn't make the game, and now we're out of pocket as a result I usually look to be positive in the actions of the club, but I can't see how travelling to FP to get a ticket in the first place, and then being stuck with it as you can't make it to the rearranged game, and can't get to FP on the Monday, makes for looking after your fan base MON RA DOSSERS

All in all, an enjoyable night with the right result. Credit where it's due though - Locos worked hard and played the ball about reasonably well at times, and they're not the worst team I've seen - would imagine they would hold their own ( ) in the 3rd division Didn't get to see any of the town as we arrived about 7.30, but weather wasn't as bad as made out - there were pockets of snow on the roads on the way up, but we didn't have any hassle on the way back to Falkirk via Edinburgh Now looking forward to The Midden MON RA DOSSERS

15.25 hopefully, if it is called off - due to leave at 15.30 MON RA DOSSERS

Agreed - East Central belt getting hit at the moment and moving north easterly apparently MON RA DOSSERS

Was lying on the Slammanan Rd when the snow was heavy but reckon it'll clear if the snow stays off a while - problem is they don't tend to be too quick in getting the gritters up this direction MON RA DOSSERS

That's what I get for being stuck oot in the sticks MON RA DOSSERS

Kinda know where you're coming from - some of our posters have given Loco's pelters for the previous games being off, and many (myself included) are now questioning the sanity of driving up and hoping the game's off MON RA DOSSERS

2 nil to the Dossers if it's the Scottish game I remember My memory is coming out the ground and there being Well buses everywhere you looked. MON RA DOSSERS

Radio Scotland still going with game on but indicate it'll be reviewed as the day goes on with Aberdeenshire on the radar for snow as the day goes on. Falkirk area is getting well plastered just now, and staying up the top of the Slammanan Rd (up from the High Station), if it keeps up, I could be struggling to get out of our estate Any Central Scotland cooncil worker out there who fancies doing a homer with his spreader truck - all the way to Inverurie MON RA DOSSERS

Caught some of the footie talk on Radio Scotland around 4pm and they stated the Loco's chairman (I think ) had been in touch saying they expect the game to be on unless there's a dramatic turn in the weather. Pretty sure they also said there are no plans for a pitch inspection as the ground is fine following their home game yesterday. Hope it's on but if I get halfway up and it's put off, reckon the tickets will be getting sent back to FP MON RA DOSSERS
