Noticed on Amazon and Play.com that there are 2 versions of the book at different prices - anyone know if the dearer one an update of the other ? MON RA DOSSERS

With hindsight, his profile had dropped quite a way when he came to us, but as a teenager at the time, signing anyone from England was a result, never mind a player who had a few years ealier had been highly regarded. IMHO though, he was a cracking player and part of a fantastic team at the time - Pettigrew, Graham, Davidson, etc (check out the other post of the STV archive for a taster if you haven't already) MON RA DOSSERS

Maybe already posted, but Radio Scotland were saying the weather was going to take a turn at the weekend A turn to more freezing conditions MON RA DOSSERS

If it's on I'll be going up, but I could do with it being off tonight Judging by the comments that the team are preparing to travel this morning, I'm fairly sure that they've been given the heads up that unless there's a severe frost, it'll go ahead MON RA DOSSERS

While it's a pain in the arse being postponed again, I'd far rather the call's early to avoid an unnecessary journey and time off work for no reason. My bosses are pretty easy going thankfully, but I'm not going to rip the piss by taking half days leave every few days. And for the record, it's Loco's home game, so have no problem waiting till their patch is ready. I'll be as disappointed as anyone if we lose a Saturday match in the next round (assuming we win this round), but shit happens. If we're lucky enough to get through to the Qtr\Semi or even Final, we'll look back on this game as an experience. MON RA DOSSERS

It was either the Scottish Mail on Sunday which I read late last night, or the Scottish Daily Mail (early this morning) that pretty much agreed with most of the views on here, and went as far as saying that barring Inverness toiling, Falkirk would\will be in danger of going down. It also put paid to the myth of the flowing football. It's about time it was recognised We've not always been pretty to watch, but by and large, we were honest enough to admit it. MON RA DOSSERS

Radio Scotland were reporting minus tempretures in the Aboyne\Aberdeen area at 6.30 this morning - may well depend on whether the pitch was able to thaw sufficiently yesterday, and whether a freeze is forecast is predicted for tonight. Not as confident as I was last night MON RA DOSSERS

How Falkirk escaped with a point beggars belief, but that they did - In many ways we only have ourselves to blame as we certainly had the chances, but don't want to be too critcal, as I reckoned we put in a decent performance against relatively poor opposition On the basis of Falkirk's last two games, it appears that the introduction of Presley has Bogi thinking of playing with 5 at the back - long may that continue cos they'll continue to get raped back there - how in God's name did Barr ever attract enough attention to be in Scotland squads - little else through their team and rely almost entirely on the ball hoofed long and high enough to come down covered in snow - Inverness may yet have a escape root (have to admit though, what a strike for their goal ) By all accounts, not as good a performance as last week, but the run continues and no reason to fear Hibs next week MON RA DOSSERS

My lad might not be through today - if not, I'll be at the Well shop around 2.30 ish if you want to take the chance. I usually wear a M\Well Xara black\white flashings top. MON RA DOSSERS

I had a night's stay organised in Aberdeen on Saturday, only for the game to be postponed, and I'm due to be on leave from work next week so the journey shouldn't be too bad. I just know it's going to be off MON RA DOSSERS

Couldn't argue with AL B or Flow and would put the Kaiser up there. Also, in my time, I'd also be putting forward Joe Wark and Dougie Arnott, another 2 guys who dedicated their professional careers to the club. No doubt I'll think of many more as we add to this thread MON RA DOSSERS

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but I'm fairly sure that the club wanted to put a 2nd tier on the East stand (similar to that at Dumpdee Utd) a number of years ago, but were knocked back due to Knowetop school behind. MON RA DOSSERS

I've ended up with a spare Child ticket if anyone's interested, or fresh faced enough to try and use it I'm at work so can only check now and then, but PM me if interested - face value (£7), first come ............. MON RA DOSSERS

May well be bigger, but certainly not better MON RA DOSSERS

Remember that day well - the Jambos had turned out in force, making it all the sweeter Cup Final was special, as was the semi-final win v Smellic Texaco Cup days v Hearts, Tottenham, Stoke And way too many others to start listing them all MON RA DOSSERS

Just in case anyone gets caught out, when I phoned the club earlier, I was advised the closing time tomorrow was 12.30. May be they're squeezing an extra half an hour but best phone and check if your likely to be there lunchtime. MON RA DOSSERS

Would certainly be happy with Enter Sandman, but AC\DC's Thunderstruck would also be fairly awesome. Go for it MON RA DOSSERS

Beggers belef that Richmond had a good view of the Hughes incident and didn't give a penalty - I've often said that I think the officials are downright woeful, but with some of the officiating, you can't help but wonder about hidden agendas - there's no way on God's earth that the decisions would have been the same in a Squirm match So why do other teams have to put up with it Think there was pretty much nothing in Craigan's challenge either, but most forwards (ours included, eh Clarky ) hit the deck in that position when they feel a challenge - cheatin', not right, but most do it. I'd like to offer my services to those at FP should the need arise, for a meagre fee (that should be a selling point !) MON RA DOSSERS

At this point in time, I have no problem getting behind MMG & the team, although I reserve the right to be critcal. I don't believe 'supporting' should mean blindly accepting everything that goes on, but in the main, I'm still behind all at FP. It may be a case of journalistic license 'corrupting' what's been said by MMG (The Record wouldn't stoop to this, would they ), but whether that's the case or not, MMG should be careful of what he's saying, unless he's happy in generating an awkward stuation. They'll be plenty ready to stick the boot in in return MON RA DOSSERS

I was right with you till I read that bit, although we'll agree to differ on McGarry Your point's right though - I asked the same question last night about Clarky, and while he isn't the greatest player ever, as you say, he makes a nuisance of himself and defenders don't get peace when he's playing. Someone else oposted similar, but once he's ready, I'd play a front 3 of Murphy - Sutton\Porter - Clarky Get back to what we were good at MON RA DOSSERS
