I know it's Darren, but for some reason Danny has stuck with me since the start of the season MON RA DOSSERS

Agree with the previous comments, and as has been said, the standard of referreeing, not to mention the totally inept numpties that get paid for running up and down the line, is going a long way to destroying games - there was one stage when the stand side linesman looked as though he was sending a message by semaphore, as he simply hadn't a clue what decision the ref wanted him to give The one time the ref's incompetance worked for us was the penalty, as the ball fell perfectly for the guy at the back post to get his shot on target (Danny would've saved anyway ) MON RA DOSSERS

Disappointed but not altogether unexpected As for Forbes, I do believe the guy has bags of talent, but there's no doubt he's as slow as a week in the jail, and he's not going to power up and down the park, especially playing in a wide position. I remember years ago playing with a guy who was very similar, and we used to wind him up that he never left the centre circle during a game - you accepted it and knew he wasn't going to run all over the place, but when the ball was played through him, he could create havoc. Forbes could well be like this, but if we don't see him in the middle of the park we're not going to find out. Other side of the coin could well be the question, can we afford the luxury of this type of player, or can afford not to try it ? MON RA DOSSERS

First off, power to all you guys who travelled up - well worth it in the end Scoring the early goals in each half effectively won the game, and we looked reasonably composed and happy for them to have the ball 4 - 0 maybe flattered us a wee bit, but who gives - we've negotiated a potentially very difficult tie with ease, and here's hoping we can indeed kick on from here MON RA DOSSERS

Intending to leave anytime now, but starting to wonder if it's worth it - I do fancy the game, but may be too much hassle on the roads MON RA DOSSERS

For you guys in Dundee, how's the surrounding area ? Pretty confident they'll move heaven and earth to get the park ok, but the area arond the park is a police call, is it not ? Fair way from Dundee, but where I am in Falkirk is pretty bad again tonight with the snow MON RA DOSSERS

Pretty much spot on - simply not interested in watching any other SPL games, and can't understand the hype over the EPL TV football just doesn't cut it for me, and if, as suggested, the 'top' teams outside of the Bigots are fighting over peanuts, then roll on the day we go back to a highlights only package. The TV companies don't care a jot about the good of the Scottish game at large, they see a market for the Bigot's fans who don't go to away games, and see the opportunity to get their pockets lined - you'll get the occassional game outwith the Bigots, presumably to satisfy some criteria or other, but as I said earlier, it still does nothing for me. TV football is closer to killing the game than ever, but as those in power chase the pennies, they're too blind to see the ultimate outcome of an industry that is slowly but surely ebbing away MON RA DOSSERS

They keep stating they are dicussing CHANGING to a 10 team league Is it just me, but I can't for the life of me see how this is change - it's reverting back to what has already been tried, AND FAILED And to think that we've apparently jumped in to bed with the Bigots just beggars belief - I accept the financial reasons of keeping 4 home games with the Bigots, but these gates have been slowly decreasing, and it looks to me that many clubs are increasingly going to go through this scenario, so effectively, it's the fear of losing the TV money that has a big bearing on the decision to go to a top 10, and to keep the 4 Bigot games. Said before that the Well will live with me till the day I die, but after 40 odd years of being passionate about seeing my team, I have to admit that a lot of the desire is starting to wear thin - can't help but feel a top 10 may just turn me in to an armchair fan through time. As for the protest, don't think it's a bad idea, but would only really be taken on board if most Scottish club's fan base were willing to take the action collectively - it'd be a powerful voice, but can't see it happening. No doubt as the week goes by, I'll be more up for it, and may well go as intended, but the past run of games have definitely taken their toll, along with the game being on the telly. At this stage though, not feeling particularly up for it MON RA DOSSERS

Got to know DDM a little through the EoS branch like Kmcalpin, and he always came accross as a genuinely nice guy. Although I knew of his condition, it so so sad to hear he's moved on to our selective branch beyond. Sure he'll be well looked after by all the Well fans up there. RIP

Like a few already, i am seriously hacked off with the performances of most refs that I see - I've no doubt Im biased towards my own team, but I often see crazy decisions given against the opposing teams as well as against us Last night took on a new level of incompetence though - right from the off he was right on the back of Craigan, and he couldn't book Jennings quickly enough - it did cross my mind that with no manager (as such) to deal with, and Mogadon Jeffries in the other dugout, he was quite happy to give us feck all. I'll be a Well fan till I shuffle off this mortal coil, but I'm seriously happy I didn't buy a ticket for Sheepyville - coming away from games thinking it's been destroyed by yet another ref, well out of their depth, is really wearing me down - maybe the week off will get the enthusiasm back MON RA DOSSERS

Went to Inverness with Jamie and one of his pals which has left me pretty rooked, but as usual, as it gets closer to game time, i'm going through the 'will I, won't I scenario' You going ? MON RA DOSSERS

Dare say it's what makes football entertaining (sometimes ) but amazing how so many folk can see players or incidents differently. I don't think Fitzy is a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, and he was far from perfect the other night, but I thought with him as more of a natural midfielder, he gave the team more of a balance, and I'd be happy to see him in there for the start today. If Hibs aren't up for today after their midweek result, they are in trouble, but we should be capable of achieving at least a draw regardless. Tough un though MON RA DOSSERS

Also going to be a 1st time visitor to the Caley stadium - is it best to hit the 'away' car park early, or is it generally available till close to kick off ? MON RA DOSSERS

Got to say it was a particularly bad performance from us, and we have have little to complain about, having missed the penalty, a chance to get back in the game and shape it in the time left. Accies were shocking, but I've no doubt they played exactly as they were told, and we struggled to do anything constructive against them - give Hasselbank his due though, he took his goal well. As for their time wasting, it's frustrating as hell, but be honest, in their position, I'd do exactly the same. as the ref wasn't interested in moving the game on or nipping it in the bud Gonna chill with a couple of beers and forget it ever happened MON RA DOSSERS

Feel pretty much the same as previous comments - generally a bad day at the office against another poor opposition, but Blackman worked hard, and for that, gets the nod MON RA DOSSER

Like many, my growing up years of watching the Well in the late 60s through the 70s allowed us to watch some truly fantastic players, of which Joe was one. He was a sensational left back, and has often been said, had he played for either of the Squirm, he'd have raked in a load of caps for his country. Best wishes Joe, for you and the family. Spot on and exactly what went through my mind. Sure, it's probably the toughest draw we could have got, but had the '91 team thought like that, we wouldn't have bothered turning up for the Semi replay, as you don't get 2nd chances against the Squirm BOLLOCKS If I had my way, the Squirm would have been knocked out in their 1st match, but like us they weren't; they're a team of 11 guys who want to get to a final, but I don't believe for a minute they want it any more than us. Over the piece, the Squirm will probably win most of our encounters, BUT they don't win them all, so who's to say we won't win this game. Stay positive and MON RA DOSSERS

Pretty much agree with the 1st part of this - the Midden looked out of their depth for the the opening 30 mins. No doubt the goal so early knocked the stuffing out of them, but what concerns me a little in the home games, is the (so far) inability to kill teams off when we're well on top, which is biting us in the arse later on in the game. The end result yesterday could well have been the half time score had we been more clinical in what we did, but we end up losing a daft goal and losing the grip on the game. The Midden imploded in the last stages of the game yesterday, and the end result definitely gave a better feel to everything, but not every team coming to FP is going to cave in like that. Bizarrely, at the moment, I'm reasonably confident about going to the Bigots, but for home games I'd be tempted to play Sutton up front with Blackman, and let Murphy have a free(er) role from the middle - just feel we're losing what Sutton offers us when he plays in there, when we're trying to be offensive But hey ho, 3 points when we looked like we were going to end up with 1, and at least Pa appears to recognise that we have a lot more to offer MON RA DOSSERS

As has been said, I'm on a bit of a downer as I reckon we've gone out to a team that were there for the taking - created enough reasonable chances plus the penalty, so regardless of the tactics they chose to use, we lost out due to our own deficiencies - even the early stages of this type of European adventure demands that you take your chances, albeit Sutton was unlucky early on, and the lob over Carroll not long after (can't remember - was it Murphy ?) just needed that wee bit of luck to swing our way. Worried though how a quality cross into our box causes so much chaos, and the persistence in missing out the midfield with balls back to front - admittedly we missed Jennings, but at least playing to feet gives us an even chance Onwards and upwards (although I don't really feel it at the moment) MON RA DOSSERS
